Love this old school machine could it reverse.
Excellent , only criticism struggled with corners ,possibly slower and more detail on this
too bad they are so overpriced. for 90 dollars, you can buy at least 9 high quality scissors these days.
That back fabric is so fun! Thanks for this tutorial. Very well explained & easy to follow...
Thank you! I was able to repair my sofa thanks to your video.
Fantastic advice, thank you so much for making this video!!
Definitely use at least 1 screw with the nails. It'll give that extra security that it won't happen again.
Hi Amy what is a good glue gun ? I really love you videos please do more 🙏❤️
My videos are now at www.upholstery.life Thanks for watching!
When you are recovering a cushion do you add half inch seam allowance or cut the fabric the same size as the form?
Could you do a video on how to calculate how much fabric you would need to cover round and oval lounges cushions. Please
Tell me more about the cat
Yours is the 4th video on this and it’s the best one of them😊
Thanks for the tips. What sewing machine you use? Greetings from Virginia
Thank you ❤
Extremely informative and very easy to follow. Thanks so much!
Hi, do you have a tutorial for dining chairs which were originally covered in 'seagrass' but as that has deteriorated, I would like to use material to recover. Only snag, the seat pad has cut outs for the front chair legs, how do I get material into such a space?
i just got an old singer 31k47 with a walking hoop/kick foot but i have bieng using a singer 319k for strait stich an zig zag love my vintage machines it is a very throw away world today so its nice to have sumit with a lil class
I have a 96k40 and have only set it up. I can't wait to try it for eeal now! 😁
Are you not doing videos anymore?
I’m doing videos for Kovi Fabrics (on their CZcams channel) and for my teaching website upholstery.life
Thank you Amy I have leant a lot from you .🙏 Can you do a video on how to cut out fabric for piping ? Is there a easy way
🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍💕💕💕
🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍💕💕💕
You made that look so easy! I'm going to attempt this - but I think I'll make it look more difficult than it really is. Thanks for the tutorial and the tool tip!
Do you always put the piping on the sides? And not the cushion base, Is that easier?
Thank you SOOOO! Much you probably saved me so much time I didn’t know anything about the specifics I thought it was just like regular fabric but softer you probably saved my 1st project
You make it look so easy and I know it isn’t!
Thank you! Going to do this project next weekend!

How do i figure out yardage to cover my boat seat cushions and the backs , the seats are 49×29 with 5 inch foam the backs are 13×38 with 5 inch cushion foam
You can watch my fabric calculation video!
Thank you ❤ you probably saved me hundreds of dollars ❤
I didn't see the hardware you used to attach the headrail to the window frame. If you have time, can you share that? Thanks.
I love your presentation.. You’re a natural born teacher-very logical and clear. I believe I have the exact same sewing machine you use. I had never heard of stapling the boxing before. Going to try it on my next cushion. Thanks!
Esencial video for tools and supplies fabric all of it. Just found your channel.TIA 😊
your good upholstery work I like 👍 because I am also sofamaker upholsterer
That’s a great little instructional video. You’ve shown how easy it can be. Thanks. Unfortunately I have a recliner that is a little more hard to get to but the basis is the same.
Recliners are just bolted together, if you want to fix it badly enough, you can.
What do I do with the foam around the edges if the seat lid is an “inset” to the chair? Only the fabric will fit in the spaces.
Wow. You make it look so easy.
What kind of foam would you use for dining room chairs?
Great video! Honestly this helped so much! Thank you!
I was about to try reupholstering an office chair, it has staples put into hard plastic, does this sound like I would need air compressor stapler?, I did wonder if the existing staples could be removed and put back in the old holes or is that wishful thinking?
You can try it and see!
How do you attach the back???
Would the marker bleed through on your fabric? Also, I'm working on a chair that is like a burlap fabric, which ravels a lot? Any tips on working with something like this. I didn't pick the fabric, the customer did.
I have a chaise lounge that is in really good condition and it was given to me, but I do not like the yellow fabric. About how much would it cost in labor to re-upholster? I am trying to decide if it's worth it.
I have a reclining sofa . I noticed one of the zigzag springs feels funny when you sit on it when I put up the recliner and looked underneath I can see like a coil spring sticking down through the black dust cloth . Any suggestions where to start .
Thank you Amy for your step by step instructions on how to reupholster chair pads. I am not very handy and had to rewind several times, however with your help I was able to cover 5 high top bar chairs and they look amazing!!!
How did you remove the cushion from the seat?
There are 4 screws on the bottom
