“I don’t know any dude” count was off the charts 😂
I think it beat out all of the "um"s and "uh"s.
Take a shot every time
Great idea. Good on yall. Bring this out before Black Friday next year
Haha, yeah this should be an annual special episode. We'll do one before BF next year. Great idea.
@@dirty-civilianalso before prime week 😅
Mike at LLOD has done one of these for the last like 7 years. His videos are great too.
I put some things in my notes for this year and next year 👍
They are still dudes, c’mon! 😅
I want to show this to my wife, but that intro is too savage and I think she'll actually cry.
"She gets tears for Christmas, and we get the silent treatment for a week."
A good wool blanket is another great thing to always have multiples of. Great video!
Great call.
Anything wool is typically nice. I'm hooked on wool t-shirts now after getting one as a gift.
Nooo so itchy
“Wow, thank you honey! I love this 100% cotton camouflage tactical jacket smok parka army pullover jacket men”
Hahahaha!
Another great item is general storage. Like ammo cans, or range bag, decent bins. Good mutli-use items. Can't forget about gift cards either!
I will never have enough .30 cal and .50 cal surplus ammo cans
One can never have enough ammo cans
These are all awesome gift ideas. The best one though was the story abouthe family member that you barely knew giving you fifty rounds of 556 and two p-mags that's like absolute Bromance right there but what I always tell my family is all they need to get me as a hug hugs are cheap easy to come by and one size fits all
That dude is a legend. I'll never be able to repay him. He's not even into any of this stuff...
Back when it was affordable our family white elephant exchange always had multiple bricks of 22 in it
This is great! Sometimes it's hard to put things like this in a list. Then my family is clueless as to what these things are. I literally just sent this to them as my wishlist.
Same here
I shared it on my Facebook, I figured I'd help as many dudes as I can
👍👍
Putting the soap in the sock was hilarious lol
Nosehair trimmer on the boonie hat was good too
Haha. It has some Full Metal Jacket vibes for sure.
Most videos like this are typically pretty dumb. This one is surprisingly 50% solid, 25% stuff that I already have, and 25% stuff that I don't personally need but I know someone else who would love
Gift cards for Chick-fil-A and Lowe's / Home Depot are sure bets every time.
This video needs to be shared with all the wives, girlfriends, and kids out there.
Very well done!
The important video that everyone who has ever given a Christmas ornimate to a grown man needs to watch.
I’ve never in my life heard anyone say, “every dude loves to have tons of tourniquets” 😂😂
I’m all set with MRE’s too
I took the family to legoland last weekend for Christmas, and I ran into a dude wearing a dirty civilian hat. We shook hands. You guys have exploded in a single year. Congratulations! It's well deserved.
Well, there aren't very many hats out there yet but we're working on it. Thanks for the support and encouragement.
Drinking game! Anytime Drew says
"I don't know any dude that..."
You'll be so buzzed up, shopping afterward will make it so much easier, too!
Nice gift guide. Something I would add since you asked about it, would be a nice fountain pen.
I started journaling a couple of years ago to try and improve my handwriting, and fell in love with them. The tactile sensation of a good fountain pen, writing on good paper, is very cathartic.
I like to gift pack towels, travel wipes, and those compressed cotton towels. Always can use a towel while out, city or boonies.
You can never go wrong with tarps! High quality, canvas tarp. Or a couple cheap ones to keep in the truck
The video intro is adorable, super accurate, and hilarious. Already sent to my MIL on behalf of my husband. 😂
Awesome! Thanks!
It seems to be a hard concept for some people to grasp that, if there’s anything I want, I’ll just buy it for myself.
And if I don’t buy it for myself, it’s because it’s too expensive and you’re not gonna buy it for me either.
Great video guys. Things that make it on my list each year are military rain ponchos, mora knives, and paracord/bank line. Can never have enough of these. They make it into every bag, vehicle, and kit I have. Keep it up!
Mora knives are fantastic. Great value for the money.
Couple things I'd add are gloves, range glasses and earpro, baofeng, Firestarter, paracord, tourniquet
We had one of those things where you pull a name and gift them something in our barracks. Price was 20 bucks max. I didn't really know the guy and gave him a power strap with overvoltage protection and honest to god I've never seen this dude so happy. Like, gifts don't have to be expensive, they have to be useful.
Genius! I would appreciate being gifted virtually anything on your list. Just shared this around lol. Much better than the blank list I had before 😂
Great gift guide! Thanks for putting this together! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
This is so great, you guys should do a PART II of this in the future.
On the gaffers tape, I keep blaze orange and black in my truck. Blaze orange is very handy, I’ve used it for a flag for oversized lumber in the bed of the truck, trail marking, putting on camo because someone always forgets blaze orange during rifle season. Makes a good sent drag as well.
Para cord is always a cheap gift that brings a smut to my face.
Flat camo spray paints!
This list is one of the best out there. One category I would add (that was even a prop in this video) is storage containers. Ammo can/pelican case/plano box, any and all of the above!
This is so true. My wife literally said earlier and she doesn’t know what to get me because anytime I want anything I just go buy it.
What a great video guys!! You all are one of my favorite channels, thanks for all your hard work and I hope you have a great Christmas!
Thanks guys, amazing content as always. Not even close the best channel in the industry for me these days. Merry Christmas boys.
I got a collapsible fire bellow off Amazon years ago. Amazing for camping fires and I use it to help start my pit barrel smoker as well. Only complaint is it’s easy to lose
This is 100% for my husband! But after watching this… I’m like he has almost all of this stuff already - even the 55 gallon! 😂 more mags and more batteries, got it! Haha
Fantastic video!! Thank you guys, you both do great work.
These were all solid suggestions. I always figured I would just buy this stuff myself but if I can get it as a gift I would be ecstatic
You gentlemen are doing Gods work w this video. Awesome stuff
Love this video! Already sent it to all my friends and family! ❤️
Good job guys! Keep up the great work.
Great job, Merry Christmas from Canada
Solid work guys. This is a must watch
I saw the Battery Daddy at Costco but tackle boxes have been working great for me! Cheap easy way to organize a bunch of small stuff
The Battery Daddy is fucking awesome. One of my favorite gifts of all time. OF ALL TIME.
On sale at Home Depot for $9.99.
this is an awesome video idea guys. I swear I always know what to get my dad and stuff for Christmas and then as soon as Christmas rolls around my mind goes blank. this will go perfect for like Christmas parties too when you have a secret Santa or something. Because pretty much all of our buddies are in hunting and stuff so this all works great
This hits hard, great video guys. I am undeniably the battery daddy, and inevitably have my stash picked apart for my kids electronics.
You should add Element Fire Extinguishers, they are ~$90+. They don’t expire, they’re super compact but they out perform traditional extinguishers. They are a 1” cylinder by 11” long and weigh less than pound.
Blue Barrel is a company that sells plans and components for PVC connectors and downspout access for water storage. Good stuff. Plus you can get blue barrels from some restaurants and organic soap manufacturers etc.. FREE sometimes!
Huge ups on this video. Priceless
This is by far the best gift guide I’ve ever seen and all the non-gun-guy people I forwarded this to said the same thing. Nice work.
I just sent this to my wife, daughters and mother in law. Thank you!!!!
This is amazing. I'm going to be wife of the year! Thank you!
Great video gents! Love what you guys are doing with the Channel. Keep it up!
this needs to be a series. godDAMN this is good
You forgot the Baofeng radio! Cheap but convenient if you have a couple to hand out in an emergency
Watched the video, and started writing down a lot of what y’all showed and mentioned. Just bought a couple pairs of Darn Tough socks. Looking forward to feeling the hype. 5:40
Thank you Drew, Josh, and DC team for creating content we didn’t know we needed!
I went to a friends house to help decorate for Christmas and she had the battery daddy and I was in love with it! I went and replaced batteries and checked batteries that were laying around to see if they were bad or not 😂
Heck yeah, love this vid and makes it real easy to just send this to my family, any of this would be great
I'm really enjoying Dirty Civilian, I started watching as I was looking at CQB for airsoft and ended up liking and subscribing and listening to the podcasts in the car. I'm from the UK so airsoft is as far as it goes. Keep it up guys.
Badass! My girlfriend keeps trying to tell me to ace the book collection and I keep telling her that’s not happening ever!! 😂
Awesome thank you guys!
Great ideas, thanks guys.
Lots of gift ideas for me to buy myself.
Haha, that works too.
My dudes, don’t forget about green lasers for starting fires, blinding intruders or being found by helicopter at night.
Or maybe a GPS unit to show your location and send for help in an emergency. Maybe an Early warning trip wire device that can fire blanks or flares. Just my 2 cents.
You guys rule! Timed perfectly before family starts asking. The link will be sent repeatedly
Awesome video! Thank you guys for all you do and the content you provide. Been watching since the beginning. Another add for the under $50 could be the Aero Press Go for easy coffee anywhere.
That's a good one. Good call!
Immediately forwarded to all of the ladies in my family, couldn’t have done it better myself. 😂
i own pretty much everything on the list you guys covered, and i'd still take more of those same items! Great video!
That first tier should definitely have an ammo can in it. I can always use another ammo can.
This was extremely helpful!
This is an absolutely awesome idea for a video guys. I don’t know a single family member who would see it without me sending it to them, but don’t we all wish they did😂 Bravo Anyway bro’s
Excellent idea love this!
Those keychain single-LED lights are great. I think Nite Ize makes them. 99 times out of 100 I don't need a billion lumens, I just dropped something under my desk or between the car seats and need a little bit of light. They're great, weatherproof, lightweight, and don't look silly tactical.
Killer content. That’s why I vote for you as breakout creator of the year on Gundies!
Thank you so much for this! It helped me already, but I'm saving for birthdays too.
Dude, that MRE bite, stare, and smile had me rolling! Great video guys, made the wife watch it.
It was followed by a gag because it was a humanitarian aid one with only veggies. Disgusting cold.
Got a Battery Daddy last year. Had it on my Amazon wish list cuz I was tired of seeing disorganized piles of batteries in kitchen drawers. Works great and the tester does work well.
Loose batteries is our ultimate pet peeve.
Especially when they get tossed in there and half dont work. Knowing all the ones in the pack are good is awesome.@@dirty-civilian
Prolly gonna get one for my mom and her battery cabinet 😂
I just splurged and bought an RH25 during Black Friday. Saved up all year on the side specifically for a thermal rifle rig. Now I don’t need to worry about Christmas for myself.
Alright, to be fair, mountain house biscuits and gravy with some hot sauce is an absolute banger of a meal
Okay that combo is a good one!
Fun fact, a lot of firefighting foam is stored in containers that utilize the Bung. It’s great getting rookies and having them find the Bung wrench on the fire truck and watching their face of confusion because they think we’re messing with them. 😂
This video is 💰. Thanks Gents!
Bunghole removal tool is clutch
Battery daddy’s are awesome. Been rocking one along with keep some extras in hand for those gift requests that pop up almost unannounced. Great gift!!
That was a first class high dollar intro.!
My boyfriend showed me this and GOOD THING! Aside from getting him the normal stocking stuffers, I will be making him a basket full of tactical stuff and even thinking of getting a box of ammo because talk is cheap and ammo is expensive (so I’ve heard). Thank you for such a good video!
That grin when Josh was swinging the soap in a sock got me. 😂
This was awesome!
Yall are really doing the lords work with this one.
Best Christmas gift video I've seen on CZcams. Should be an annual with repeat items and add ons. May end up being 3 hours long.
Awesome video that I didn’t know I wanted but I certainly needed! I actually just went out to Walmart and bought a bro a real avid gun multi tool bc I couldn’t think of what to get. Wish I would’ve watched it before I got it lol. Definitely needs to be a annual video
I have a battery bank that's also a hand warmer. Nice list here without a lot of break the bank items. Good for dirty santa or office gifts too.
I told my better half, get me a cast iron pan and the bread bible. Sure theres stuff on my wishlist, but its stuff that's too expensive to ask someone else to buy
Dry bags, mag pouches, Marino wool long johns, wool watch caps, wool gloves, silver, and gold coins are a few other winning gift ideas!!😎🇺🇸🦅👊💪
Flashlights and headlamps. $5-$50 and very handy.
Don't forget carabiners
I asked for that jacket info on the goat video.... You made me wait til now?! Lol seriously though, great suggestions!
Lots of great options at lots of different price points
Gloves! Mechanics, PIG, Magpul. I always lose, wear out, burn, at least one of the pair and it’s great to have extra!
Seconded. Always need a pair and they're never where I thought I left them. More gloves means more places to leave them.
I love my battery daddy lol I get so pumped to always have batteries on hand to “fix” my daughters toys
Another good gift is a Mora knife, good all around knife for around $15-20. If you really want to blow them out of the water another good gift is either an Esee knife or a Benchmade knife. Both come with a lifetime warranty and are super high quality, Esee ranges from around $80-200 and Benchmade ranges around $180-350.
Happy holidays everyone!
The battery daddy is awesome! Got mine last year.
Great idea with this video, when it comes to gifts I always can't get enough of knives and paracord
Love this video. Sandie Claus appreciates it. One of my fav gifts to give come from mancrates.
