- AND the final episode in this series is a complete tour from front to back and side to side of our newly remodeled or re-built cargo trailer camper conversion. Our trailer is a 6x10 that we find quite suitable for us. But we were looking for a change from our previous build. A different design with new colors and some added features. That trailer is awesome! What an amazing use of space in it. You really can travel in style, as long as the drivers on the highway don't try to crash you. I am very impressed!

Your rig is much fancier than my original toyhauler cargo camper. I used it for a year and had a lotbof function it. Nice job.

Yum, Cherry Limeade ICE drink. Sorry, looking too deep into your mobile kitceh, LOL. I probably would add 2 baby strap thingies on the fridge to the outside of the cabinet to help hold it in place. I really like the new colors. I love the fold up/down shelves and that little sink. Someday we want to see the inside of your trailer in person. Kaylyn has been talking a lot about wanting to design her own RV when she grows up. I told her she would probably love what y'all have done.
Well my biggest issue on having to strap the fridge in, we would forget from time to time. It wasn’t convenient. So wanted something semi permanent. Plus I didn’t want stuff outside the cabinet just to hold the fridge in place. I “think” we may have come up with a solution. Waiting to see how it works before we bother to give the update on it. Be a while anyway. We have quite a few vids to get out. I love the new colors too. I really love the folding tables. Jessie is pretty brilliant. But don’t tell him. He might get a big head 😂. For sure, you can check it out. We don’t mind showing it off to peeps. That’s cool she wants to build her own. There are tons of cargo builds out there. Even if you were not hauling anything, this floor plan gives you more floor space, which is super nice. Putting a full size bed takes up so much room. Great idea to break the beds apart like this and have a potty place under the tall bed. Seems like great Pro of cargo trailers is the ability to "remodel" and change things without having to go buy a new rig. Lovely job you guys. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. That is definitely a huge pro to doing a build. So easy to change things and while it was some work a total rebuild is nice to be able to do. We are really happy with this design. But who knows after another 3 or 4 years. May want to do it all again. Especially if it gets too hard to get into that top bunk. I’m not getting any younger 🫤😂
I hear ya gal. We have a van (2000 Dodge) and we have a high bed. I have to use a step stool and that can be quite challening for those midnight potty breaks ;) @@HappyPlaceCamping

Glad you are happy with your build. COVER THAT SPRING by your bed.
I’m assuming you are referring to the spring that is part of the door mechanism. We don’t wish to cover it. I use the bar to help gain access to the bed. And we don’t want anything interfering with the door working. As we stated, we wish to use the door to load the scooter. Also, don’t need anything up there taking up more space in the bed area. It doesn’t bother me and hasn’t been an issue uncovered. Thanks for watching.

The rig looks amazing. I will say I would fall out of the top bunk. I toss a lot. I would sleep with Darby. lol Yeah I say cutting a hole in was no fun. Glad it worked out. Nothing like a long road trip to test it. Hope you are enjoying FL. It's my 2nd fav state behind TN. AL would be #1 but I hate income taxes. ugh. With the cost of stuff now a budget is very hard to make. $860 is not bad at all in the current market. Great build out. Saw them all start to finish. Great work y'all.

Hi Felix! 😃. Wow, that camper is looking very comfy! You guys managed to build in a whole lot of storage, love the little folding table. Smart addition to the kitchen, I’m sure it comes in handy. Oh goodness, adding in play house windows was genius, perfect size for the space. 🏠We also get a magnets from all the cities/big attractions we visit, fun for memories. 🛣️ Thanks for sharing it all with us! LOL she gets big hugs all the time. Sometimes at the most inconvenient times. She’s kinda large and just takes them when she really wants them 😂

So glad to see your done with the rebuild. Do you have a review video of your potty? Does the AC drain out right below where it sits? Do you find the AC is sufficient?
We don’t really have a review on the potty. But we’ve had it 4 years and it’s still working great 😁. We have holes in the floor behind the a/c. In one of the first build vids and maybe even the tear down vid, you should see the holes for the vent and drain. And yes it is more than sufficient for our tiny trailer. Thanks so much for watching. We were super glad when it was all done too!
Very cute decor. I'm a little confused about the gray water, does it line up with the sink? I think you did great for $800. You sure saved a lot on labor by doing it yourself. Great job.
No we just dump the sink into the jug. We have no plumbing. That’s very true about the labor. It would have definitely upped the cost. I’m really happy with the decor too. Thanks so much, Linda! We appreciate you tons 😊
Since your build is recent, can you tell me how many insulation panels it took to do the walls and ceiling? Going to pick up my trailer tomorrow!
We didn’t do any insulation this go round. We did I 4 years ago when we first built the camper out. We used 4x8 panels and did the ceiling also. We did not do the ramp door. We can’t remember exactly how many. We’re thinking it was 6-8 of them. Hope that helps.

We were up north near Ichetucknee springs. We were only there for a week. But we had a great time exploring.
If the kitchen is in the front and you slam on the brakes wouldn’t that try to push the fridge forward? Like when you slam on the brakes your head goes forward, not backwards.
We have it strapped in from the back. We actually show in one of our build videos how we cabled it in. And we did discuss in this video what happened. We have since cabled it in differently. But it is still secured from the back as stated in a previous build video.
What has me scratching my head is wondering how on earth you get up into that top bunk??
😂 I actually use the sofa. I had a two step ladder before but it wasn’t tall enough for this higher level bunk. So far using the sofa bed as my ladder has worked.
Hey Felix, I'm trying to find the AC you got. Jonnie said she thought you got a portable type air conditioning?
We do have a portable a/c. We got it from a friend. The brand is newair. Think they might be through lowes or possibly Amazon.

Where or how do you cook?
I use the cabinet or fold down table. Have electric or gas stove to use. You can see cooking in many of our videos.
i dont think people really grasp the amount of accidents that rubber neckers make worse every year or the number additional accidents that are caused by rubber necking every year
its exclusively because of florida idiot drivers that i will never return to florida
in the summer of 1999 i spent a week in florida city of yulee near fernandina beach that town isnt huge but i saw accidents traffic at a stand still everyday because of accidents one was really bad i expect the driver probably didnt survive another was a log truck on its side not sure how it happened as the driver was coming to a stop at traffic light but man that e sunday morning when i got in my truck and headed back home i decided then that i would never return to florida and so far i havent and cant forsee any future trips to florida
Rubber neckers can be quite dangerous, but the tags weren’t Florida. We’ve been many places and found bad drivers everywhere. Some people just don’t keep their minds on their driving and aren’t aware of anyone else around them. Can be quite a dangerous feat to get from A to B. Thanks so much for watching and commenting 😊
