      Hey sorry for the late reply man! Honestly its super easy all that is needed is to undo the brake lines and u bolts and swap the diff under the springs. The kit should come with some wedge shaped plates that are used to keep your pinion angle happy and you just use the new hardware to bolt it in under the springs. Some kits will have some shock relocation provided and others wont so you will have to do some research on that before you buy. I had to weld new mounts for the top of the shocks in my case unfortunately. I wish i could post a quick video for you but i sold the Comanche a while ago.. I hope that made sense but if not shoot me another message and i can try to clarify further if needed!

    Do you have a video doing the flip kit in the rear ?

      Hey man sorry for the late reply, Unfortunately I don't but its super straight forward to do its just undoing the Ubolts, moving the axle under the leafs, and using the new Ubolts and tighten!

      Raine Lutz cool men , I have a comanche that I’m trying to lift in the rear . Did you have any trouble with the length of the driveshaft?

    • @spontaneousgiraffe
      @spontaneousgiraffe  Před 3 lety +1

      @@ruta4x4tucsonaz38 no actually I haven't had issues with my driveshaft lengths but if you're gonne get real flexy or any higher I'd run a SYE for sure. I should honestly have one but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

      How did you mount the shocks on the back axle?

    • @spontaneousgiraffe
      @spontaneousgiraffe  Před 3 lety +1

      @@xmo552 My kit came with some lower shock mounts that you weld to the axle tubes, and for the tops i just welded a plate to the inside of the frame rail and welded a stud onto it but there are a few different options you can go with. I did it this way to help prevent any axle wrap since I'm planning on LS swapping it in the future and to give me the most ground clearance / suspension travel as well.
