- Walk around of my new adventure wheeler, The Golden Eagle. It's a 89 Jeep MJ with a 99 XJ front clip, motor, trans, tcase, and interior. Dana 44 front axle, 8.8 rear axle. 4.88 gears on 37s locked front and rear
Beaut of a Rig. Enormous amount of work in this little beast.
Man I love that comanche!!! I got the pleasure to meet Jerry and this truck last year at jeep Beach! Great score
Thanks!
I've got an 87 Pioneer Metric Ton with the Heavier axles n frame n suspension package. Currently OEM. Live way up in the mountains on steep rugged path. Not looking to build a rock crawler. Just need ability to climb up here year around and like now with waste to chest deep snow. Plan simple 4 1/2" lift and maybe a 456 gear set. Have a Taco on 36x13.5 x 15" Super Swamper I ROKs and 6" suspension and body lift that goes anywhere. Our daily drive is what the city boys consider a 4x4 adventure. We just call it a country road. Your rig has some interesting functional ideas. Thumbs up and I'm subbing to help u along. ( By the way. I'm knocking on 80 yrs old so my days of adventure are mostly done. This is strictly utility for Us. Wife has a Taco.) Will be following to see how that goes. Stand strong and live Free Dandahermit
Very sweet rig! Can’t wait to see it wheel.
What an awesome build and in great shape. Love it! There's no way you could pass on the chance to own it.
Thanks man!

So awesome, I met Jon and Missy and KOH22. Super nice family! Let me know if you ever want to sell! hahaha
Wow!!! Awesome rig....👍👍👊
LOVE THAT TRUCK!
That’s a beauty
Great lookin MJ man. Im surprised to hear your Patagonians are noisy on the highway. Ive got set of 35's on my XJ and I love how quite they are. Probably 10,000 miles on them so far. Much quieter then my Open Country MT's on my Ram. Great find and enjoy the unicorn haha
Thanks man I appreciate it. I will say for the price the Patagonias do well offroad enough to put up with the noise haha.
I wondered who snagged this from Jerry! The jeep that started my addiction and got my but to start the 97+ swap on mine.
Sick was the electrical swap for the door panels difficult? The headliner is dope! Love the MJ. It looks real nice with the camper!
Why would they cut a fuel pump access panel? It's on the side of the tank and super easy to get to.
This truck has a 20 gallon XJ Cherokee gas tank, so the pickup and pump is on top
What brand are those flares? i love the stock look, trying to stick with it.
They were Notch Customs flares, and took alot of time and effort to make fit correctly. They are super expensive and take forever to get after ordering.
Hey man, thanks for taking the time to reply. Im running 7.5 springs so I don’t necessarily HAVE to trim as I can articulate and not make contact, but the bedsides need replaced so it might save me some sheetmetal and time.
The strongest axle ever made wtf!!
Inside joke
I know lol. Awesome rig either way! Does it feel like a dog on the hills with the 4.0? This rig has always caught my eye one of the nicest out there
what engine / transmission does this have
99 4.0 and AW4 Auto
@@wrightcycleworks what kind of RPM's are you getting at 65/70 mph?

2:10 is a joke right? strongest ever pound for pound is ford 9in
Inside joke 😆
calling a vehicle a "build" that you bought is fantastic
At no point did I say I built this truck......this was a walk around of its features.
If you don’t mind me asking how much did you paid for this beauty? That way I can kind of get a idea on how much to offer if I get lucky to find one like this. That’s a dream truck right there
