This is my second year with a coolbot a highly recommend it to anybody a hole lot cheaper then a cooler unit compressor and maintenance-free I have a 16000 BTU LG with the standard coolbot in a 10ft bite foot room temperatures get down to 33° no problem I timed it this year it was on 68 degrees I plugged it in it took one hour to bring it down to 33 degrees that's awesome thank you coolbot you can't go wrong by buying a coolbot I highly recommend it
I habe an older COOL bot that I never used. Does it work the same as this newer unit? I am just now getting ready to build a small floral cooler and hoped to utilize the COOL bot I have. I thank you for any ideas you can give me.

Is it just me or does the cool bot AC unit combo take too long to cool vegetables down to storage temperature when you are actively in and out of it every day multiple timea a day? Wouldn't a commercial walk-in cooler system have more effective cooling properties? I'm thinking like crops that need to be chilled pretty quickly like broccoli and greens in order to hold ideally..

With that said, the CoolBot system does have some limitations, one of them is door openings. We recommend no more than six door openings an hour to keep the cold air in your cooler. If, like you mentioned, you're in and our the the cooler constantly, we would recommend a commercial solution. We're not looking to remove the secondary sensor, just locate it and bundle it with the heater and primary temperature sensor of the A/C unit. A standard window A/C can be set to 60 degrees, but pumps out much colder air to reach that set temperature. As long as you can keep it out of the sun and as long as the room temp sensor wire is in the room you are cooling, then you should be fine.
