Hello! Love your videos! What series is your scanner? My van is a 2011 Freightliner sprinter 2500 does that scanner works for mine? I’m having a lot of transmission troubles.
@sebastianjimenez9671 Thanks! I use the snapon zeus and Autel Maxysis Ultra Scanner, these scanners will work on your sprinter but they are pro level type scanners though
Hi Deo, like always great video. Thanks 🙏🏻
One question: I have 2008 Dodge Sprinter with 160k miles, I have no history of the car. I believe from going great 1 to gear 2 only the van jumps/jerks. It happens harder when it’s cold and when I drive more it does but a little softer. All other gears are fine.
Do you have any advice how I can fix this? Really appreciate man ❤
@MrMaziyarB Have you changed the transmission filter?
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair No, I have not. I took it to a transmission shop and they checked the oil. The level was good but very brown. Do you think changing oil and filter will fix it? Or the problem is solenoid?
Hi Deo , thanks for sharing , i have a sprinter 2 319 that vibrate on neutral and hight speed over 80km/h it has new driveline on it , do you think it could be the transmision? Cheer
@pierre5054 Hi, Yes! if your driveline is well balanced then your problem might be the transmission!
Thanks bro
I have a question. Which sensor is responsible for transmission shifts?
@angusalamezie6193 it Depends on the vehicle, Some vehicles use the input from the vehicle speed sensor on the back of the transmission to upshift and downshift the transmission and others vehicles use the input from the wheel speed ( ABS ) Sensors!
Did you need to drop the whole prop shaft out? Or was that just for easier access for yourselves?
@mike1043 for easier access!
Stupid question I know but thanks for replying, how heavy did it feel lifting the gear box, a bloke from UK took the whole box on his own. Mind you he had fat power on his side.
Hello my friend,
@buboybebing3716 Hello my Friend!
Nice video however vehicle you are working on is Mercedes Sprinter not Dodge Sprinter although they are %99 identical there are differences.
@abletotalautocare9250 Thanks! it's the same procedure on both makes!!
