I visited MSY in 2018 a couple of months before the new MSY opened.. it was old and needed the upgrade, so this is 100x better but I'm not thrilled with it the concourse is too narrow with the stores/restaurants on one side. Reminds me of the Old Terminal A at Newark Airport which was built in the 70s.. Though NOLA has alot more shops and restaurants adter security than Newark (old terminal A).. but yes definitely a step up
