Planning to stay there this year. Do you think this hotel is a good one for a first time solo traveler? I read mixed reviews about it...mostly good but some of the bad ones seem so one-off xD

Yeah it seems to be a good hotel. A little walking distance from myeongdong street. If you are really looking for ideal hotel, I will recommend Skypark central hotel.
