    Excellent.. Josh is one very busy boy. I guess there is a lot of good energy that he has been gifted with.. Oh.. power outages, even here in South Africa, it is a biiiiiiig problem but we are getting used to it. Just yesterday, I was at a Camping Show in Pretoria where I saw power back-up units and all sorts of things, which we all will need going forward. That's just what is around the corner in most parts of the world...

      You’re exactly right! Most in the West will be unprepared and won’t know how to handle it. Those of us who have experienced life like this will be better prepared 🙏🏾

      I have heard about the shortage of materials. We paused our construction during our move, but we’ll be resuming very soon. I will let you know how it goes for us.

    Sis what International bank do you use to manage your finance between Ethiopia and US? I want to access my money when I get there without having someone to send it to me from usa.

      I haven’t opened an international bank account. I still have a U.S. bank account open, and I use my U.S. visa at ATM machines when necessary. I also have the Ethiopian bank account that is separate. There are diaspora accounts if you’re going to continue earning in a foreign currency and want to keep that currency in an Ethiopian bank. I don’t have much information on diaspora accounts though.

    Hi Princess do you know how we US can send money to those in Ethiopia?

    • @princesslivingfree
      @princesslivingfree  Před 10 měsíci +2

      You can send it directly to someone’s bank account through a money transfer place like Western Union. All you need is the bank name and account number.

    How did they transfer to school so easily. I know people who went through a lot just to transfer their children to schools in Ethiopia. They needed report card, transcripts, Apostille, notary, and letter from state department. Perhaps your kids are young and didn’t have to go through that tedious process .

    • @princesslivingfree
      @princesslivingfree  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I’m not sure honestly. I have never heard of the process being that difficult. Which country did the people you know transfer from? Maybe that has something to do with it?

      That’s what I’m saying. Buying imported food from supermarkets is expensive, but these are some of the things my children like 😊. The majority of our fruits and vegetables and meats come from local markets and are much more affordable.
