These commercials aired during two Christmas specials, "The Bear Who Slept Through Christmas" and "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol". They aired on NY's Channel 11, WPIX.
These were great! I remember them all, growing up in the tri-state area channel 11 had some great holiday stuff..March of the wooden soldiers, honey mooners and of course the Yule log! I wonder if any of those toll free numbers still work🤔😊
I want to be 12 again and watch these on a square screen tube TV. Not a single worry in the world. I want to then go to sleep and wake up not knowing that I’m reliving the same day over and over again for all eternity. Not too much to ask, right?
Good ol Carvel. Tom the turkey, santa, plastic half size baseball caps full of ice cream ..........of your favorite team of course. Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel............etc..........guy was a marketing genius.

It was a ritual for myself to watch march of the wooden soldiers and mighty joe young..............every thanksgiving on either wpix 11 or wwor 9.

Yes, every Wednesday we were there to get our buy one get one free sundaes. And yes we got the baseball caps too! Don’t forget COOKIE PUSS! 😂
