  • A photo op montage documentary containing almost 500 rare photo images tracing the shaping of the origins of Punk Rock music and fashion. 15 bands ranging from American garage band The Sonics to the UK's Sex Pistols. With almost 500 fantastic rare photos of bands, records and memorabilia from the different eras, capturing the bands, fans and fashions of the time as it happened. It features each band as they emerged chronologically with their earliest release, and early photos. Of course it can be well argued that many other bands should have been mentioned in the evolving of the genre but in general the bands featured are widely considered to be the main strands of Punk Rock DNA. I think of the term Punk Rock as a euphemistic term for music with attitude and spirit, rock n roll or another kind of blues. Enjoy. (P.S for the Sex Pistols I chose the demo version of Anarchy in the UK as I feel it captures their earlier rawness)
