Managing perks, weaponry and tech trees into a zillion different companies for each faction is insane. They must add some kind of filter to the new squad selection.
I really think they need to revamp and change the Squad upgrade system with the merge. I don't like it in it's current form and think it's needlessly and excessively grindy and It's going to be a nightmare tracking down which squad has what upgrade post merge with 100s of squads.
Great guide! Can you make class specific perk guides? That would be quite helpful. Apart from that the devs should really look into decreasing the amount of silver coins needed to redo different perks. The current pricing is not viable at all especially for f2p players like me.
@@debayanghatak1521 it depends on what you are going for. I haven’t paid for much aside from the year long premium. I use the remaining gold for the quarterly challenges and usually get my gold back. I really just wanted the XP boost to get unlock everything a little faster. But for maybe the first year I played I was a non premium player.
Yeah. True mate. I myself am a long time f2p player. I have bought only the BP since it pays for itself. My only qualm is the devs are giving us the option to play in multiple BRs. But at the same time they are making these weapons super expensive to get. So that logic of a person needing less gear does not hold ground if one wishes to play in a different BR rather than sticking to the late game stuff. Making players buy vehicles is another lame move. Hopefully, they consider all these things before releasing the major update.
Some perks work for well for bots, but not as much for you, if you have high reload speed, aim stability when damaged and all the aiming onces etc, or fast pose changing, bots can become scary killing machines in the bushes, especially with mgs, my bot got 12 kills in a bush with mg while i only managed to get 8 with my rifle haha
I like this system a lot since it’ll save time rerolling perks and reminds me of borderlands so for some it should be second nature if they play those games. Additionally: Could you go over the tech trees as a whole like show case all the folders and where things will go in every nations tree? Unless you have already done that
I like to combine Healing speed, Movement speed, Health regained from Medpacks, Stamina, Vertical Recoil reduction and higher probability of just going down at a kill shot. I think the ''50% chance to be downed on a kill shot'' is underrated powerful.
So, sacrifice the sprint speed for vitality is the name of the game? I am a bit disappointed that the perk system was so vaguely explained in earlier devblogs, and fully revealed just now, at the test. I would've prepared better and grind more the II, III and IV classes. Right now, most of my soldiers are tier I and ranked up to 5 for bronze, and with the new system they will no longer be able to have all three best perks. On the other hand, higher tiers are finally useful, because you need more than regular 16,16,16 and all perk points can be spent. I've finished the campaign grind recently, so back to the red tree grind it seems.
Awesome video! One thing I’m confused at. So the individual soldier levels have been changed right? So my tier 2-3 soldiers will now be upgraded to tier 5 as long as I have the appropriate red upgrades you mentioned?
I hope they give the heart perk something else or replace it because it’s like a no brainer for certain classes if you’re playing assaulter engie flamer
Hey i just started last week and im trying to get level 5 soldier equip 5 perks achievement. I have my tanker clasd maxed maxed out starts and attributes and seems to not be unlocking. Any ideas?
If all of our current soldier's class ranks increase to level V after the merge, does it make sense to keep buying them until we have a max roll on each soldier so we can get the most available perk points in the new system or will we have the max available perk points regardless? F.E. If I buy a Rank II Assault III and he is not a perfect roll, will I still get level V after the merge with all the max perk points or should I send him to the rear and keep buying Assault III troops until I get a perfect roll so I get more available perk points to spend?
Is there any kind of presets for perks? I want to get back into the game, but filling perks for even 4 squads worth of soldiers after it all being erased by merge just feels overly-technical and tedious
20,000 to reset 1 troop? This is what I was worried about when they switched to silver. Super inflated prices for things.... Though I appreciate the expanded options for chosing perks.
I disagree with the downed perk. I find it annoying when I get downed and end up dying while I'm downed so it's just a waste of time going through the whole process unless you're someone who is fighting from a distance like say a sniper I prefer just to die and switch to another squad mate.

i don't like that you have to take weaker perks only to discard them later for better perks with silver,

if a solider doesnt get 16 in a category what do i do? do i reset his level or do i have to get a whole new solider?
