Katie was painted as the villain in the relationship and probably internalized a lot of it. We saw pieces of the real Schwartz starting to come thru, starting with how he treated her when they pranked Jax. She's endured so much more than we could ever realize. I cannot wait to hear the rest of her story, after she meets and falls in love with a real man.
I think Katie is right that Sandoval would throw Schwartz under the bus if the roles were reversed. And not only would he throw him under the bus, I think he would use it as an opportunity to bolster himself and portray himself as the good guy.

I've followed VPR for years and I've always felt Tom S never had Katie's back. I understand she can be a hard personality at times but it never felt like he was her "person" like she was for him. I'm excited to see Katie move forward and find someone who will be all in for her.
As much as I love Schwartz, I noticed that too but I think it’s a maturity difference but yes your bride or husband better come first or they won’t last

Schwartz was not a good husband to her at all. In one episode when she said we’re married you should support me he said it’s just a piece of paper. People always get on her case about being mean but when your not in a good relationship you don’t shine. I think we’re going to see Katie shine and thrive

Schwartz made Katie look bad, she was always upset because he never HEARD her. He never took her feelings into account, she was frustrated because he just wasn’t emotionally available. I know exactly how she feels, he made the worst of her come out. When a man gives you space and true love you never act out of character as much as he did to her.

Katie stands firmly in her opinion with little to no budge, which Schwartz was unwilling to do. They both hurt each other, but instead of Schwartz trying to stand up for himself, he would be passive aggressive, get drunk, & then cheat on her. It is best that they are looking at a life that didn't include needing the other person to change.
NO EXCUSES...She was just awful and still is, thank goodness she filed for divorce, poor Tom would have miserably stayed like a puppy, now he is free to be and not waste another year tied to his mistake. He is so neat.

Yeah there Really and truly is. It made me regret some feelings I’ve had about her in the past. She’s so right. And I know in my own life, my husband can do something to piss me off and I’m still mad about it later because he just pretended it away and then he’s so confused and wondering why on earth I’M creating a rift that moment even though I KNOW he did lol. I love Katie too! She, LaLa, & Stassi have always been my top favorites. They are the three that get the most hate too but they speak their mind & they are honest. All three have greatly matured over the span of VR tho & people need to not judge them on the early seasons. I hate how everyone is being so rude to her. I have been in Katie’s shoes with the guy choosing his business and bff over me. It’s so draining and everyone thinks something is wrong with you because they’re portrayed as the fun guy and don’t see who they really are behind closed doors. I think a lot of people mis-interpret Katie’s personality as cold. I think, based on what I’ve seen in her interactions with others, I see her as trying to protect herself from being hutt by others. Especially since her split with Swartz.

So many viewers refuse to cut her a single break even now when Tom’s behavior is being called out for what is is and always has been.

I have been rewatching VPR from when Raquel came on and I DEFINITELY think that she and Sandoval have been sleeping together a LOT longer than they are admitting to !! Before she left James, they said they didn’t have sex for over a YEAR! Same for Tom and Ariana, they weren’t intimate for a very long time. Just watching the way Sandoval defended Raquel, the fact that he gave Janes $12k for “their engagement,” 🤔 🤔 I believe that’s the reason that she called off the engagement! But we’ll probably never knows 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I honestly think Rachel and Tom have been sleeping together for a long time, like way longer than they claim! I think their affair is the reason James and Rachel broke up. If you go back and rewatch last seasons reunion when Rachel announces that they are breaking up, Tom looks so fucking nervous like he’s afraid she’s about out their relationship!!

I think it started after james. Raquel got closer to tom. Ariana wasn’t even around half the time. Ariana and tom seemed to have drifted away from each other but the home tied them to stay.

I think Schwartz one true loyalty is and has always been to Sandoval, and Katie is still giving this guy more grace than he deserves. It doesn't matter what he says, it appears that his loyalty to Sandoval came at the expense of Ariana. Ariana even unfollowed him so I don't think he had even supported her through. Probably hiding and avoiding conflict somewhere. As always. It's tough to respect someone like that. He's not good friend material to anyone but one person.

How? I see it as the opposite. She wants to go by Rachel now, as if symbolic of her being more real/rebranding herself, so continuing to call her Raquel, which is how she was always known to all of the cast, would be more “disrespectful” as it would be denying this fake rebrand and acknowledging her for all of her behaviour/denying her wish of being called Rachel now.

I hope you reach out to Scheana for a future episode. Katie kinda brushed over a lot that has happened in their friendship dynamic and it's definitely not all on Scheana. Katie has being on the wrong plenty of times, more so during the Stassi era. In fact, the closest they ever were was when Stassi was not on the show. I do hope they can work through their issues now that Rachel was proved to be a scam.

Their opinion matters n it was heartbreaking watching Katie get blasted at that pool party n hearing Swartz talk about her with the others was so gross n disgusting n nxt episode she calls him out at that dinner in Mexico being one way in front of ppl but behind closed doors talks his ish, in that moment I related to her relationship so much I cried. Ladies we are mentally strong n we know wat we want n we love hard n that doesn't make us crazy! Women love harder then men n my mother taught us that as children n that is the difference between us n men. Apparently he often would go out partying and not come home . Then next day say he spent night out at a friends . Acted like teenager telling his mom. My 24 year old son lives with his gf , been about 2 plus years. He would never do that to her.
Omg last night on the reunion when James called them “tweedle dee and tweedle little d*ck” and Tom goes “am I tweedle dee” making light of the insult and Katie just shook her head because it WAS such a serious moment despite James’ funny comment lol, but James had me dying

I seriously hope Tom goes for interview. I do not think he has ever made a decision on his own. He will agree with whatever Sandaval wants. He allowed Sandaval to use him with Rachel knowing that it was hurting Katie.
That is his favorite result is hurting Katie. Sandoval is a bully and coward afraid of smart strong women that call him out over his crapm

I stopped watching VPR in season 3. I did not like Katie at all. I went and watched season 9 & am watching season 10. I believe 💯 T Sw is in the wrong. Hitched his wagon to T San when he should have been putting his time and resources towards his marriage. I hope Katie finds peace & happiness.
Schwartz has been dragging Katie down for too long! It's her to thrive. Schwartz will continue to be an idiot but on his own.
I've liked Katie from the beginning of the series. She seems like a good friend to have in your corner. I also like her friendship with Lala.

I’m loving the person Katie is becoming. She’s unapologetically herself and I aspire to be as comfortable and cool in my skin as she seems to be in hers. We should all want to hear more from her.

Katie seems actually content and happy..of course she misses Tom, but he kept her in turmoil always he playing doormat to the other Tom then when Katie tries to push him to be a man, he turns on her snd takes the other side, its bizzare...he's a people pleaser, doesn't want conflict except with Katie..He will take this to his future relationships
Sandoval thrives on the attention from the group and now that their actions have gotten them exiled he won't be able to take it. I give that relationship 2 months

I feel bad for Katie and how she endured all the hurt she experienced. She has to be so disappointed in Schwartz with how he was the cover up for all of this. It's just mean the minute Schwartz found all this out he needed to be a man and act like 1 and go to Arianna and say something! I think Katie kept her cool but she must be so hurt herself. I really think it's Schwartz in his mind thought it was exciting and he just wanted to have fun and since Katie was the one who asked for their divorce and his dad was sick he just needed a fun distraction. Katie didn't deserve half the things that Schwartz did to her!
Or Scheana such a backstabbing b itch..She was never that close to Swartz. She wanted screen time and hurting Katie was a perk. Katie became friends of Scheana and cost her relationship with Stassi actually she became a better person without toxic Stassi. Must admit Scheana gave " its my birthday vibes" of Stassi.
