    Sketchy's Garage and crew....Thanks for this video.....the chassis work looks real nice and the shrinking of the truck cab is very interesting and turned out real nice!....I liked the comment about 100's of tig rods lol.

    everybody that thought it was a great chassis should check out JJ's video of it burnt up , lots of tack welds & missed welds around the halo bar ,probably better it burnt up (sad too) then failed in a crash !

      I was thinking the same thing.
      If y'all don't know what he's talking about go watch JJ's video titled JJ da boss what happened.
      It clearly shows oversized gaps in the halo , that would NEVER be acceptable in a certified chassis.
      Hell they had the roof cut off , why didn't they even try to gorilla weld those gaps before they welded the top back on ??????

    I thought this was a replica of Ole Heavy🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ New or old it’s got a great chassis up under it, it’s BAD ASS💯💯 “NEVER!!!EVER!!!BET AGAINST OLE HEAVY!!!” My moneys on JJ regardless what he’s driving, he’s like the rest of us that grew up driving and racing on these old back country roads, he’s ACE at the wheel for DAMN SHORE💯💯💯

      Well hot rodding spawned drag racing. So just like how back in the day there was janitors but now they are custodial engineers. So by using hot rod instead of drag car he's just one of the few people left with propper knowledge and vernacular. 😆

    It's there for everyone to see now, all the unfinished welds on the trucks chassis and roll cage after everything burned off it. See it clear as day in JJ's video.You should not be allowed to build cars if you allow that shit quality. If he rolled that you would have been fucked.

    That is a really cool video... do more of them, but longer... and see if you can get a builder to explain like one thing in each video.... grow your audience by making it easier for newcomers to start understanding what they are seeing. This is inherently exciting stuff, but damn it’s hard for someone to break into from the outside.

I started street racing in '64 and there was no "chase is a race" back then. And he swears up and down that his cars ain't chassis cars when everybody knows they are. And when he says they're at a disadvantage because they put small tires on their tubbed out, tube chassis big tire cars it makes me want to puke. I have seen them race in person several times.

      Yes, this is a fresh new truck top to bottom. It had a small block with a procharger at first but it kept having alot of issues now it's got a 632 BBC nitrous motor! It's still 4720 lbs.😂

      Its gonna weigh more than a stock 3100 🤷‍♂️ People tend to think builds like this are light because there's no interior etc. But you've got an all steel body sitting on a chromoly chassis with probably 2-3x the mass of the stock frame. Plus the small block, big procharger, saftey equipment, electronics, intercooler and hardware, etc. etc. etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Ole heavy weighs atleast 250-300 pounds more than a stock 3100.

      It had a small block with a pro charger when it was first built. Went to a big block and nitrous after having motor issues.

      As in any form of sports there is different levels competition, Ole Heavy is definitely not a streetcar but he's not out there picking on cars that are at a lower level than him. I hope this makes sense.

      This truck the New Ole heavy had a procharged small block to start off with. They keep having problems with getting it lined out so they decided to go to a 632 nitrous combo.

      This is pretty much the norm of all the street outlaw cars. When he refers to be Real street he referring that they run on unprepped streets with no glue on the starting line and water burnout only.

      No, it would more be considered a top sportsman style build. A pro mod would have alot more x's and gussets in the chassis and would have a alternate wheelbase with alot of body mods. Do you think a video of showing the differences between a pro mod and most of the street outlaw style cars would help everyone understand the difference.
