6. White Bread and Refined Grains (lacking fiber and nutrients)
7. Margarine (highly processed and contains trans fats)
8. Candy and Sweets (high in added sugar and empty calories)
9. Processed Snacks (chips, crackers, and pretzels)
10. Canned Foods with Added Sodium (such as soups, vegetables, and beans)

Thanks doctor. I am 63. You have taken me back to my childhood. My parents never gave me and to my brothers and sisters any of these things.
But I made mistakes. I gave everything to my kids, in spite of my parents displeasure. From now onwards I will insist my kids and all my friends to avoid these things.
Basically awareness is need of the hour. This will save a lot of kids from many diseases

In our family from my childhood my parents used to buy icecream and cakes only in the school vacation s(quarterly, half yearly and annual holidays) that practice followed by me also to my child ( but that habit changed to once in the month or alternate months) we take homemade noodles and any snaks from the shops also includes that list , I always used to make jam and pickle at home itself without anykind of artificial preservatives. Even we having a panipoori shop just infront of our house for more than 15 years , we buy them once in a month or in long holiday time only.
