so to make a 8 equal parts we need to dr aw 1 cm of arc, necessary for all sums or its have a different way to do it?

The arcs should be equal radii......
It could be 1 CM Or 2cm......your choice.....
By the way 1 CM radii arcs take less sheet space and looks very organized.
