These days in Warmane ret pally are less valued because alot of them have shadowmourn but you dont. If you want your guild to inv you in raids then holy/prot spec sells more than bdk/dps spec If you want to top dps charts both of the options are bad DKs are the best tank in wotlk...they will give you more comfortable experience than prot pallies.Good luck choosing.
You could use skada which shows "absorption and heals" instead of recount which only shows healing stats. Then you realise in most fights, disc priests tend to at the very top, therefore they should be in the S tier - you can not heal damage that have not been done because shields absorbed them. And this is from a long time Hpal main POV.
I used to play priest and back in vanilla and tbc, the shield used to be situational, and an unfair way to top hps. Shield used to be less efficient in terms of mana cost per dmg healed/mitigated. In numbers, if a boss hit 10k and the shield protects 5k, tank will receive less than 5k dmg bc of defenses but the priest won 5k dmg healed in a hit and... so, you understand
Let's say we're doing ICC25: 0. I've never played Hpriest, so I can't say anything. 1. Hpal will be your tank healer 2. Dpriest will be your damage mitigation healer, a "must have" on several fights. 3. Rdudu will be your "mass healer" shining in fights where there's a lot of AoE dmg. 4. Saved my favorite for last - the Rsham. It's the defacto "Support hero" in the game. In my 15+ years maining rsham I can say this - it's all about positioning and timing your heals. You need to move as little as possible and have DBM and boss swing timer so your heals can land at the exact moment the boss or ability strikes. You will always be second to hpal in the meters, but remember you're there to provide support and utility. Shout out to all my fellow healers and remember when you heal - nobody dies!
Except that 1 dude who stands in defile in p3. You let him die on transition. Also. Resto shamans are tank saviors. Ancestral awakening + ancestral healing means some tanks need you in order to survive mechanics. And we got the best repeatable snipe heal in game.
I am a Holy priest main, it has really good AOE and if you make it Spirit/Intellect, Haste gemmed it is really fun and powerful and mana is not a problem if you eat the right consumables and get buffs, same as rdudu you select a group and heal all, hpriest heals 5 players for 10k with Prayer of healing and circle of healing 4k instant heal of 5 group players, also one really good thing, i saw he doesn't use it in the video is Prayer of mending, probably he didn't manage to record it or smth but this is one of the most OP spells of holy it heals every one and has 6 sec cd if you play holy, this makes it super useful it is like shaman laser almost it heals the ones that need heal the most. I also don't think healers should have a tier list cause every healer has it's purpose.

Holy Priest is op af and often misunderstood, it can easily top healing even out healing a Hpal on LOD. Plus buffed POM with 2 set t9 bonus is the smartest heal in the game. Will crit for 25k on hit and always jump to the lowest target. If tank has GS on him before SR expires and you pom for SR expire it will literally crit and heal tank for 35k on hit. Not to mention they are great hybrid combo healers id put them same tier as resto shamans.
Fun story. Our guild got full bis (some missing 1 or 2 bis items from halion) and decided to make ourself a challenge to see who really was the best healer by going 4healer (except sindragosa) . And surprisingly resto shaman topped most of the boss and holy priest being best at LK 25 hc
I heard if your gear is decent and had the right glyphs that healing stream totem for shaman would literally farm hps in content without needing to do anything else? Sounds weirdly insane if this is true.
I know this is a slightly older video, but I'd just like to point out that as a resto druid, the only class that ever, and I mean ever, out healed me was holy paladin (When our item levels were relevant). Granted I was always top on overhealing as well, but I never had issues with mana so I feel that drawback is irrelevant. If you're quick with your hots, you can nearly negate Festergut's raid damage for example. Druids have plenty of oomph behind their heals but can be gear dependant as well, more for potency than mana. I just feel like they should be higher than a C tier, as most raids require heavy blanket healing in wotlk which is where druid really shines.
In the 1st phase of wotlk (Naxx), Resto Shaman is stronger than the Resto Druid, but as the phases progress Resto Druid becomes stronger. (a definitive B rank in ICC for Resto Druid) So for later phases, top 3 healers are : HPal, DPriest and RDruid. RSham is 4th. (my beloved class)

it's sad, because hpriests are the best aoe burst healers in the game, the prayer of healing, combining it with a talent, that increases the healing done to targets under 50% hp, does a shitload of healing. But they run out of mana really quick, if u just spam the aoe spell.
I raided in wrath (10man) as a combo disc/holy priest. We had 6.5 dps in every fight and 2.5 healers too. If it was a dps check I helped pass it. If an extra healer was needed, no need to change spec/gear. And there were even a few times when one of the main healers went down, and just jumped in to fill that spot. My numbers as a result of not specializing? About 75% normal on both dps and healing meters. Throw some hots, throw some dots, a couple single target spells...
Used to be a resto druid main back in the days. Although they dont top off the healing meters(no way of outhealing a hpala) they are extremely desired in raids based on the fact that they have innervate and combat rez. Resto druids are the support of the support class. They are definetly viable and can hold a raid together, i did LK 25 hc as a tree, but they are not the top 1 healing per second healer.
I have barely played it so I'm not very knowledgeable on it and I couldn't really make a list on it. I'm looking forward to learning though and I might make one in the future!
Gnev, quick question. Hpal vs Disc, which one has the highest HPS WITH absorbs being calculated? Doesn't Hpal beat Disc even when Skada counts absorbs? I'd like to hear your experience. thank you!
Back in the Day maining a holy priest 2man healed everything with my resto druid buddy... Also hardmodes if one of us wasnt there the guild couldnt do hardmodes. As you said holy is so deverse i loved it! Who need pala or disc haha

u can spam the hots, PoM, and the circle, don't use the talent for the cast speed and dump it into dc tree talent, that decreases the manacost of instant spells

your tier list is focused only in 2 fights, Halion HC and LK HC. If you take in consideration the whole raid and progress the tier list should be more like this: S= Holy pala A= Disc priest, Resto Shaman B= Resto druid C= Holy Priest
The problem is that he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about in his video and basically contradicted himself several times. I won't go through whole video but I will step into 3 things which made me bad impression: 1. Disco Pries can not be compared directly to a pure healing done classes simple because his job is to mitigate damage. Leave him solo in crucial moment and he will fail. In practise this is not a case with noone of rest of the healers. 2. In the video he said that in his opinion Resto Shaman is the best healer for solo healing (which is not even true. In additional he didn't even say for what type of content he even meant.). And yet he class him in B-Tier for idk what reason. Shaman is a flexible class and executes the function of a "spoiler" healer which means that whenever there is a problem in healing, he should notice this instantly and fix it, whether the problem comes from not proper organization from rest of the healers in burst AOE healing or there is a problem in tank healing. 3. His explanation about Tidal Waves of shaman is terrible and not even true. Firstly in the way he said it in the video, it means that whatever 2 spells you cast after Riptide or Chain Heal you either cast faster or HEAL MORE???? Heal more? What? How much more you heal? My dude, "heal more" is not equal to "you have 25% more chance for your LHW to crit." Not even close for the meaning of those 2 definitions to be synonyms.
In TBC/Classic paladins are usually tank healers and shamans/priests are on raid healing in raids. Is it different in wrath? In video there was glyph which looks OP, but can palas really compete with CoH/chain heal aoe healing output in wrath?
They can, yes. Even without the glyph, a Holy Light + Beacon is way more total healing than a full chain heal, and in ICC the cast time will be like, under 1.5s. Not to mention that paladins have infinite mana in ICC, without even needing to use Divine Plea. The funny thing about this video is that it's actually wrong to have the Holy Paladin use Judgement of Light, it should actually be the tank because it provides a ton of threat.
I've played with Holy priest, very fun to play either during leveling or in bg, no mater what you throw it works, but never managed to gear it. I'd dare to say at (least in my server) is the single hardest spec to GEAR: Sucks insane ammounts of mana, theres no correct way to build it and there are almost no guides or players in and outside the server, I don't recommend anyone to have it as main spec, rather build a Disc or Shadow and make holy your dual (or reset talents). I don't think is a bad spec but Is laughably hard to gear (in fact I haven't due to how painfull it is to be always low mana), once you're above idk, 5.5 k gear score its pretty decent, but to be honest everything that reaches that threshold has the potential to carry.
Making guides and comparisons between anything based on numbers in a PRIVATE server not the original is not worth it. Even if it says it's BLIZZlike no private server gets even close to Blizzards' numbers because the only thing they do is guessing it.
Paladin is just OP in wrath, no matter the spec. They have the best healer, best offtank and one of the best melee dps. Fury and combat has higher dps but much less utility compared to rets, it's not even close. For a smooth run you need rets in the raid. Holy is literally the best healer and the most op spec in the game overall, both for pve AND pvp, especially in 2v2 arena. About prot, it's by far the best offtank and no other tank can fulfill that role half as good. For a class which has a spec for every role paladin surely is a bit too good, hence why half of the icecrown server plays paladin. Hell, i could bet there are 10 times more paladins than warlocks in the server.
I love both Hpalla and Rdudu so choosing between those 2 is always hard. I guess only reason why I'd pick hpala is because it was first ever spec I played so it always feels good to come back to.

Hey gnev i want to ask you something about mage class. So i've bouhgt an mage . Im currently 5.1 gs on icc. I've seen your tutorials and im 100000% sure they are very good and correct and now im thibking. "Why i dont do dps" . Is it the problem cause im low ilvl cause im seeing that 5k gs dk for an ex beats me in dps and my rotation is correct , thanks man have a good one !
Because mage need more gear, if you are fire, without crit, you don't do nothing, when you'll have 5.8-6k gs, your dps will improve alot, dk scale better with gear, mage not, he need very high stat for dps

I said "top", I should have said "best in my opinion". If you want to HPS race then no, no contest. I was referring to the effectiveness of the spec. I can make tanks take half the hits they would otherwise, I have a budget innervate for me and the second heal, I have a budget HoP, and the best AOE CD heal in game. heck on normals I can steal all the healing with flash heal in which case I would actually top meters XD
@@meusana3681 yeah disc is very solid in 10mans but it's very clear when you play resto shaman and hpala just how handicapped and reliant on other healers you are compared to the other specs. Bane is actually solid as disc, I heard with 30% buff it's one of the best even. but compared to rsham or hpala your potential is much lower, you have to try harder to just compete. Not to say it's bad, although it kinda is on sindy10hc where i'd say disci struggles the most compared to hpal/rshaam who can handle it much much easier

@@meusana3681 @Meusana I prefer to swap to Holy too on Sindy 10 HC, on 25 I think it's valuable to have a heal 'priority'' so you don't have all the healers destacking so I don't mind staying Disco for that especially since shielding tombs and painsup are solid and about relying on others, you're right there are some fights people realy rely on you. but that list starts and ends with LoD and maybe Lady HC. for the restt of the fights (including every 10 HC man fight almost) you are completely reliant on your other heal to patch up most holes. I know you don't like Hpala but it is literally completely broken in terms of pure healing making Bane much easier with Hpala Rsham than a disco or dudu, due to the heavy tank damage and fact infest isn't so strong on 10 man. but again I am used to 0% buff and also with a bane that does a lot more tank damage so maybe it's different in other universes

Holy priest was by far the most superior healer. I mained one 8 years in a row. In WotLK I was playing at my prime (playing all possible hours of teh day plus at high level). THere was simply none able to beat me (in healing, in non overhealing, in active, in getting dispells right away, you name it, I was a beast). I know that I was playing at a high level, but I can not believe that holy was a C, it was either S or A.... Disc was very overrated too. It was awesome to have 1 disc for LK HC... other than that, they were simply not needed. A holy priest always had the right instant heal/CD or aoe heal. I remember using up to 14 spells at least on every single fight on HC and hard modes.
It is better if the judgement of light is done by the Prot pala or any retri (because they will use it in their rotation) instead of wasting 1.5 gcd each 10 sec for judging. The performance will be much better although skada show u less healing. I have seen in LoD a tank dying on soul reaper because the hpala was judging kekw About the low mobility, at bis, u will have almost 50% crit so by using holy shock u have 50% prob to have an insta flash of light too.
That's actually a good point, I haven't really thought about that. I don't agree about the mobility though, even though you'll have an instant FoL it's nothing compared to Holy Light
I always do JoW cus mana is só much better than health since everything is topped up by rdudu hots. I mean it's really good to see yourself toping skada meters but that's not really helpfull i think. Imo hpalas should JoW if you got healers that can hot everyone
@@TheHeatedCarcass retri typically does JoW, hpalas typically do JoL, seen ppalas do whatever but I reccommend they use JoL on some fights where hpalas may need to focus on healing more often like sindy and lod if ur playing without JoL in your raid u are doing something very wrong, regardless of whether u have a rdudu
I think Holy Paladins cannot use Judgement of Light and they are associated with a wrong concept, let me explain. Holy Paladins depend on casting the most Holy Lights possible, mostly on tanks. Generally HPaladins must cast any Judgement (of Light, of Wisdom and of Justice) on the target every minute, to keep the Judgement of the Pure buff up (Casting and melee speed increased by 15%). Since every Judgement has a duration of 20s on the target, and the GCD amount is always 1.x seconds (Global Cooldown), in order for a HPaladin to keep up the JoL the player should cast it every 20s, spending the time to cast a Holy Light for a JoL. Now, the problem is when a tank has less than 50% hp. Generally this is not acceptable, since a tank at 50% health is very dangerous, imagine a tank dying because you casted JoL instead of Holy Light. Holy Light does between 20.000 - 45.000, every 20s you don't cast those, multiply it by 3 (because 60s Judgement of the Pure and 20s Judgement of Light duration, 60/20 = 3 Holy Lights lost) that means you lost between 60.000 - 135.000 heals on the tank, the one that needs the most healing. Some one contested my argument by saying: "HPaladins should use JoL for the Divinity talent". No. Judgement of Light does the same amount of healing (2% of max health on target hit), despite your spec, spell power etc... This was patched by Blizzard in patch 3.2.0: wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Patch_3.2.0 It is worth to assign JoL on a retribution paladin, JoW on the tank or another ret and JoJ (the least useful) on the Holy Paladin, since it is not essential and does not affect the raid nor the boss. I hope I explained well the concept and how to properly use Judgement, it's always a misunderstood argument by 95% of wotlk players.
You are absolutely right mate! I've been trying to explain to the world that Hpala is hard to play and isnt the best healer. Its all about understanding what to do with it, that makes the situation better, not the class itself. Same goes for every class in every role, its all about understanding and applying that knowledge to help the current situation. That's how wow works ever since it was released.
I hate that hpalas get to do JoL. Literally replace any mediocre hpala that dsnt use CDs with any rsham and you'll be better off. But no, he's best heal in grp cuz skada says it.
that druid heals is a dogshit spec... regardless of how much gears you have, a pally will always out heals u... and it takes away the fun... your heals are likely irrelevant... and that your healing is just a formality to complete the raid... there is no single boss where you are the best healer... you will always be behind the disco, and behind the rest of the healers... holy priest is prob on the same tier... but why bother to play holy when you can get 6k heals as disco instead of 3.5k heals as holy.
I disagree with the rDruid placement. If an rDruid is not topping PP BQ and Sindy then he's just bad. If he keeps dots on as many ppl as possible, rDruid should top these fights imo.
@@meusana3681 very true, but that applies for 4/5 healers (maybe 3/5 if your an rShamy main). But still, most druids cant top the charts coz they arent on point with the dot refreshes. I honestly think its due to the large raidframes ppl tend to use. I use my Grid2 in a smaller form so I have more vision over everyone.
@@97mesut I like having my vuhdo just below my character's feet and use Elvui to enlarge nameplates as Rsham. When on disc or rdudu I also use a slightly larger raid frame due to the multiple hot/debuff trackers. But yeah. Basically just rejuv the grp you know will take the most dmg and let your talent carry the HOT.
if disc is not topping pp then disc is bad sdkjfdjk, after disc tho tree is common that's true. sindragosa however is pretty useless to look at HPS lol

Fun story. Our guild got full bis (some missing 1 or 2 bis items from halion) and decided to make ourself a challenge to see who really was the best healer by going 4healer (except sindragosa) . And surprisingly resto shaman topped most of the boss and holy priest being best at LK 25 hc

I heard if your gear is decent and had the right glyphs that healing stream totem for shaman would literally farm hps in content without needing to do anything else? Sounds weirdly insane if this is true.
I know this is a slightly older video, but I'd just like to point out that as a resto druid, the only class that ever, and I mean ever, out healed me was holy paladin (When our item levels were relevant). Granted I was always top on overhealing as well, but I never had issues with mana so I feel that drawback is irrelevant. If you're quick with your hots, you can nearly negate Festergut's raid damage for example. Druids have plenty of oomph behind their heals but can be gear dependant as well, more for potency than mana. I just feel like they should be higher than a C tier, as most raids require heavy blanket healing in wotlk which is where druid really shines.
In the 1st phase of wotlk (Naxx), Resto Shaman is stronger than the Resto Druid, but as the phases progress Resto Druid becomes stronger. (a definitive B rank in ICC for Resto Druid)
So for later phases, top 3 healers are : HPal, DPriest and RDruid.
RSham is 4th. (my beloved class)

I am a Holy priest main, it has really good AOE and if you make it Spirit/Intellect, Haste gemmed it is really fun and powerful and mana is not a problem if you eat the right consumables and get buffs, same as rdudu you select a group and heal all, hpriest heals 5 players for 10k with Prayer of healing and circle of healing 4k instant heal of 5 group players, also one really good thing, i saw he doesn't use it in the video is Prayer of mending, probably he didn't manage to record it or smth but this is one of the most OP spells of holy it heals every one and has 6 sec cd if you play holy, this makes it super useful it is like shaman laser almost it heals the ones that need heal the most. I also don't think healers should have a tier list cause every healer has it's purpose.
isn't it better to gear it into like 1k haste, ~20-25% crit and the rest is for spirit? Crit works much better with spirit, than intellect tho

it's sad, because hpriests are the best aoe burst healers in the game, the prayer of healing, combining it with a talent, that increases the healing done to targets under 50% hp, does a shitload of healing. But they run out of mana really quick, if u just spam the aoe spell.
I raided in wrath (10man) as a combo disc/holy priest. We had 6.5 dps in every fight and 2.5 healers too. If it was a dps check I helped pass it. If an extra healer was needed, no need to change spec/gear. And there were even a few times when one of the main healers went down, and just jumped in to fill that spot.
My numbers as a result of not specializing? About 75% normal on both dps and healing meters. Throw some hots, throw some dots, a couple single target spells...

Used to be a resto druid main back in the days. Although they dont top off the healing meters(no way of outhealing a hpala) they are extremely desired in raids based on the fact that they have innervate and combat rez. Resto druids are the support of the support class. They are definetly viable and can hold a raid together, i did LK 25 hc as a tree, but they are not the top 1 healing per second healer.

your tier list is focused only in 2 fights, Halion HC and LK HC. If you take in consideration the whole raid and progress the tier list should be more like this:
S= Holy pala
A= Disc priest, Resto Shaman
B= Resto druid
C= Holy Priest
The problem is that he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about in his video and basically contradicted himself several times. I won't go through whole video but I will step into 3 things which made me bad impression:
1. Disco Pries can not be compared directly to a pure healing done classes simple because his job is to mitigate damage. Leave him solo in crucial moment and he will fail. In practise this is not a case with noone of rest of the healers.
2. In the video he said that in his opinion Resto Shaman is the best healer for solo healing (which is not even true. In additional he didn't even say for what type of content he even meant.). And yet he class him in B-Tier for idk what reason. Shaman is a flexible class and executes the function of a "spoiler" healer which means that whenever there is a problem in healing, he should notice this instantly and fix it, whether the problem comes from not proper organization from rest of the healers in burst AOE healing or there is a problem in tank healing.
3. His explanation about Tidal Waves of shaman is terrible and not even true. Firstly in the way he said it in the video, it means that whatever 2 spells you cast after Riptide or Chain Heal you either cast faster or HEAL MORE???? Heal more? What? How much more you heal? My dude, "heal more" is not equal to "you have 25% more chance for your LHW to crit." Not even close for the meaning of those 2 definitions to be synonyms.
So for 10m, disc priest or holy paladin?
In TBC/Classic paladins are usually tank healers and shamans/priests are on raid healing in raids. Is it different in wrath?

I'd say yeah
They can, yes. Even without the glyph, a Holy Light + Beacon is way more total healing than a full chain heal, and in ICC the cast time will be like, under 1.5s. Not to mention that paladins have infinite mana in ICC, without even needing to use Divine Plea. The funny thing about this video is that it's actually wrong to have the Holy Paladin use Judgement of Light, it should actually be the tank because it provides a ton of threat.

I've played with Holy priest, very fun to play either during leveling or in bg, no mater what you throw it works, but never managed to gear it.
I'd dare to say at (least in my server) is the single hardest spec to GEAR: Sucks insane ammounts of mana, theres no correct way to build it and there are almost no guides or players in and outside the server, I don't recommend anyone to have it as main spec, rather build a Disc or Shadow and make holy your dual (or reset talents).
I don't think is a bad spec but Is laughably hard to gear (in fact I haven't due to how painfull it is to be always low mana), once you're above idk, 5.5 k gear score its pretty decent, but to be honest everything that reaches that threshold has the potential to carry.
Making guides and comparisons between anything based on numbers in a PRIVATE server not the original is not worth it. Even if it says it's BLIZZlike no private server gets even close to Blizzards' numbers because the only thing they do is guessing it.
Paladin is just OP in wrath, no matter the spec. They have the best healer, best offtank and one of the best melee dps.
Fury and combat has higher dps but much less utility compared to rets, it's not even close. For a smooth run you need rets in the raid.
Holy is literally the best healer and the most op spec in the game overall, both for pve AND pvp, especially in 2v2 arena.
About prot, it's by far the best offtank and no other tank can fulfill that role half as good. For a class which has a spec for every role paladin surely is a bit too good, hence why half of the icecrown server plays paladin. Hell, i could bet there are 10 times more paladins than warlocks in the server.

I've seen your tutorials and im 100000% sure they are very good and correct and now im thibking. "Why i dont do dps" . Is it the problem cause im low ilvl cause im seeing that 5k gs dk for an ex beats me in dps and my rotation is correct , thanks man have a good one !
udk is top dps at t9 / 5k gs and below. Mages start topping the meter at around 5.7k in my observation.

Because mage need more gear, if you are fire, without crit, you don't do nothing, when you'll have 5.8-6k gs, your dps will improve alot, dk scale better with gear, mage not, he need very high stat for dps

I should clarify something. I said "top", I should have said "best in my opinion". If you want to HPS race then no, no contest. I was referring to the effectiveness of the spec. I can make tanks take half the hits they would otherwise, I have a budget innervate for me and the second heal, I have a budget HoP, and the best AOE CD heal in game. heck on normals I can steal all the healing with flash heal in which case I would actually top meters XD
@@meusana3681 yeah disc is very solid in 10mans but it's very clear when you play resto shaman and hpala just how handicapped and reliant on other healers you are compared to the other specs. Bane is actually solid as disc, I heard with 30% buff it's one of the best even. but compared to rsham or hpala your potential is much lower, you have to try harder to just compete. Not to say it's bad, although it kinda is on sindy10hc where i'd say disci struggles the most compared to hpal/rshaam who can handle it much much easier

@@meusana3681 @Meusana I prefer to swap to Holy too on Sindy 10 HC, on 25 I think it's valuable to have a heal 'priority'' so you don't have all the healers destacking so I don't mind staying Disco for that especially since shielding tombs and painsup are solid
and about relying on others, you're right there are some fights people realy rely on you. but that list starts and ends with LoD and maybe Lady HC. for the restt of the fights (including every 10 HC man fight almost) you are completely reliant on your other heal to patch up most holes.
I know you don't like Hpala but it is literally completely broken in terms of pure healing making Bane much easier with Hpala Rsham than a disco or dudu, due to the heavy tank damage and fact infest isn't so strong on 10 man.
but again I am used to 0% buff and also with a bane that does a lot more tank damage so maybe it's different in other universes

Holy priest was by far the most superior healer.
I mained one 8 years in a row. In WotLK I was playing at my prime (playing all possible hours of teh day plus at high level). THere was simply none able to beat me (in healing, in non overhealing, in active, in getting dispells right away, you name it, I was a beast).
I know that I was playing at a high level, but I can not believe that holy was a C, it was either S or A....
Disc was very overrated too. It was awesome to have 1 disc for LK HC... other than that, they were simply not needed. A holy priest always had the right instant heal/CD or aoe heal. I remember using up to 14 spells at least on every single fight on HC and hard modes.

It is better if the judgement of light is done by the Prot pala or any retri (because they will use it in their rotation) instead of wasting 1.5 gcd each 10 sec for judging. The performance will be much better although skada show u less healing. I have seen in LoD a tank dying on soul reaper because the hpala was judging kekw
About the low mobility, at bis, u will have almost 50% crit so by using holy shock u have 50% prob to have an insta flash of light too.
That's actually a good point, I haven't really thought about that. I don't agree about the mobility though, even though you'll have an instant FoL it's nothing compared to Holy Light
I always do JoW cus mana is só much better than health since everything is topped up by rdudu hots. I mean it's really good to see yourself toping skada meters but that's not really helpfull i think. Imo hpalas should JoW if you got healers that can hot everyone
@@TheHeatedCarcass retri typically does JoW, hpalas typically do JoL, seen ppalas do whatever but I reccommend they use JoL on some fights where hpalas may need to focus on healing more often like sindy and lod

I think Holy Paladins cannot use Judgement of Light and they are associated with a wrong concept, let me explain.
Holy Paladins depend on casting the most Holy Lights possible, mostly on tanks. Generally HPaladins must cast any Judgement (of Light, of Wisdom and of Justice) on the target every minute, to keep the Judgement of the Pure buff up (Casting and melee speed increased by 15%). Since every Judgement has a duration of 20s on the target, and the GCD amount is always 1.x seconds (Global Cooldown), in order for a HPaladin to keep up the JoL the player should cast it every 20s, spending the time to cast a Holy Light for a JoL.
Now, the problem is when a tank has less than 50% hp. Generally this is not acceptable, since a tank at 50% health is very dangerous, imagine a tank dying because you casted JoL instead of Holy Light. Holy Light does between 20.000 - 45.000, every 20s you don't cast those, multiply it by 3 (because 60s Judgement of the Pure and 20s Judgement of Light duration, 60/20 = 3 Holy Lights lost) that means you lost between 60.000 - 135.000 heals on the tank, the one that needs the most healing.
Some one contested my argument by saying: "HPaladins should use JoL for the Divinity talent".
No. Judgement of Light does the same amount of healing (2% of max health on target hit), despite your spec, spell power etc... This was patched by Blizzard in patch 3.2.0: wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Patch_3.2.0
It is worth to assign JoL on a retribution paladin, JoW on the tank or another ret and JoJ (the least useful) on the Holy Paladin, since it is not essential and does not affect the raid nor the boss.
I hope I explained well the concept and how to properly use Judgement, it's always a misunderstood argument by 95% of wotlk players.
You are absolutely right mate! I've been trying to explain to the world that Hpala is hard to play and isnt the best healer. Its all about understanding what to do with it, that makes the situation better, not the class itself. Same goes for every class in every role, its all about understanding and applying that knowledge to help the current situation. That's how wow works ever since it was released.

that druid heals is a dogshit spec... regardless of how much gears you have, a pally will always out heals u... and it takes away the fun... your heals are likely irrelevant... and that your healing is just a formality to complete the raid... there is no single boss where you are the best healer... you will always be behind the disco, and behind the rest of the healers... holy priest is prob on the same tier... but why bother to play holy when you can get 6k heals as disco instead of 3.5k heals as holy.

How to rdudu. Have correct spec. have spirit. Press 2 buttons. Be top at every aoe fight.

I honestly think its due to the large raidframes ppl tend to use. I use my Grid2 in a smaller form so I have more vision over everyone.
@@97mesut I like having my vuhdo just below my character's feet and use Elvui to enlarge nameplates as Rsham. When on disc or rdudu I also use a slightly larger raid frame due to the multiple hot/debuff trackers.
But yeah. Basically just rejuv the grp you know will take the most dmg and let your talent carry the HOT.
