Looks so intense solo, healing - but so much fun! All I read is about holy pally being OP in wrath but resto sham looks like they have all the tools and really fun
Yes, it is intense, for me that makes it really fun :D It's prob possible to solo heal with every class (I haven't tried with priest yet), but my experience is that the easiest is with holy paladin, they have the best healing done, and amazing utilities (especially for LK).
@@MaxMusterman_ healbot doesn't work like that - It doesn't select the heals for you. You have to set it up so left lick = 1 spell, right click = another spell etc. I use Mouse overs on normal raid frames myself to maintain normal keybinds.
can someone explain what healbot does . does it let you continue to heal without clicking them ? or what i’m so confused on how u are keep them alive so well
Hello, I'm not using healbot, I use Grid2 with mouseover macros. This means that you heal whoever your mouse is on when you press you keybind for a spell, like lesser healing wave. This way you don't have to click people and you can keep targeting to boss (to see hp, autoa attack it, etc). Its really handy. With healbot you can click the bars to heal people (its basically a preference who uses wich addon). Mouseover macros work on the default raid frames too (you can drag them out from the raid view), and nameplates too.
Amazing job!! One question, my guild is going to do 10nm and hc in wotlk, one of our healers is resto druid, should I play shaman? (We dont have shaman in the comp) or maybe I can play hpala or disc priest? I dont know how necessary a shaman is (for the BL and totems)
I agree, resto shaman and druid is a good comp (our first bane was with this one). Shaman is good to have in a raid (bl + totems), but pala is good too (lot of utilities, auras, op heals). So if you don't want to play shaman, I would recommend pala over disc (esp. since disc and rdruid is not the best comp).
Hi, great video for people like me who are learning to heal. Can I ask what glyphs did you use here? I’m torn between lesser healing wave glyph or healing wave glyph. I’ll be single target healing mostly as I raid with a Druid. Thanks!
My default glyphs are Earth Shield, Chain heal and Lesser Healing wave, I think I used these here as well. Healing wave glyph will on most fight just overheal (there are fights where it's good tho, Sindy, VDW, maybe PP, etc), but generally Lesser healing wave is better. Especially if you will tank heal (but rdudu can tank heal well too).
Hey there, I know this video is from a long time ago, but just want to know how much gs you have now and also how much mana reg you have just with water shields on, no other buffs, thank you!
Hi, in the video I had like 6k gs IIRC, atm I have 6.4k. 195 mp5 while casting (this should be similar to what I had back then) with only water shield (no buff, no totem)
Under statuses/Buffs, click the Create Default Buffs button (this will add some buffs, like earth shield). If it doesn't work, you can add a spell by typing in the spell name (without space) or spell ID in the text box and pressing create buff. After that, you can place the buffs in indicators (by clicking on one indicator, and choosing it from the available status)
How many attempts it last? Iam just curiose. Iam resto sham with 5,9k gs on warmane and i tried solo healing Bane(30% buff). My best attempt was 32% after 9 wipes. Than we swap back to 2 healers. Idk if iam doing something wrong or not. But how i see ur mana mana managment is insane. Guess i need watch this video for like 10 times more to realise what iam doing wrong.
I don't remember how much we wiped, but it was a lot :D For different reason, sometimes cos of heal, sometimes entirely different problem. I would suggest recording your and playing it back, maybe you notice stuff that you can improve
@@saynototryhard9224 My biggest probleme is after first room. We are fine with HP but iam without CDs and without innervate from druid. So my mana is only around 5-6k, wich is low asf so after next soul reaper iam not able heal raid. So idk...prolly save innervate after first room like u guys did in video.
@@Barrog420 It is better to use innervate early, then on cd. This way, it will be used more often, which means overall it will restore more mana. Same with mana tide totem.
It really depends on situation. For tank healing I don't like chain heal, because it's slow cast and it removes riptide, in a lot of cases healing wave would just overheal a lot. I'm using the lesser healing wave glyph (more healing on earth shielded targets), so for tank healing, lesser is actually not bad (and when you use it like you count on it crit, you know can calculate ancestral awakening into its healing done too). In wotlk it's also a good idea to keep the tank on max hp as much as possible, so when no other healing is needed you can lesser every hit (it would be riskier to let the tank drop and then you healing wave, although it would be a be a bit more mana efficient probably). For raid healing, when only 1 or 2 people are hurt a bit, its quicker to lesser one and ancestral awaken will heal the other (if you have tidal waves proc). Also, when someone is standing out of the raid, chain heal won't jump. So for infest, it can be worth to use lesser too on some cases
@@RubenLopez-ug3hf Generally, I use lesser, earth shield and chain heal glyph. Healing wave glyph is really good for VDW, and has other uses, so sometimes I use that instead of the lesser one
Hi, healers don't have a specific rotation, you have to know your spells so you know in what situation you use them. Also, you are not correct about your assessment, I did keep up earth shield (on one of the tanks), I used riptide a lot (not on cd, but close to that), I used a lot of lesser healing wave and healing wave too, and also chain heal when I wanted to AOE heal or heal at least 2 targets at the same time. What I did not do, is refresh totems, which I should've at least in phase 2
Solo healing is always impressive and I play on warmane too so I'm using these to learn some more mechs for when I'm ready to do bane/lod with the guild I'm in. I play mainly alliance though but I've seen some of your members around. Anyway great vid😊
really the management of totems was pretty good. its such a high movment fight loosing a GCD to drop totems people easily could of died. I mostly had either 4 or none (I only had 1 totem for a bit of time). The reason is that the room removes totems, and I thought it would be too much mana to recasting it, especially since we are moving to the other side, so I would have to recast twice (so that's around 10k mana). In the end you can see that I would've had enough mana tho, I was maybe a bit too conservative
