it's true. daigo is such a great player that the more time you play against him, the more time he has to read you and download your playstyle. once you've played enough against him you probably can't even beat him

Style is defines your game play and who you are. Style is optional, but is far from a handicap. Your swag also gives you a x factor because It can get the crowd hype. When a whole room is behind you cheering for you because you just did something insane with a bunch of swag, then that gives you a home field advantage feel and also momentum, both of which are key factors in matches.

I find a snipers missions quite inciting because it makes your blood pump , you never know when he will strike and from where but with this type of ryu, not my cup of tee

You're not wrong. But I have to disagree with style being an option. It isn't. Daigo has style. How can a man born with free will and ego not be "himself" in what he does? I think Daigo's Ryu is so boring because you've seen him play for half a decade. Daigo's at a point where he's mastered his style which is why it's hard to beat him. My point is that it's only through strong and extensive fundamental training that one's own style becomes formidable and allows him to analyze others' style.
