Technically we did get a modern Ruckus back in Combiner Wars, they changed his name to Grabuge. He's more of a pickup truck than a buggy though since he's a repaint of Offroad. Also the orange emblem is the Mayhem Attack Squad logo, basically the evil counterpart to the Wreckers.
Actually, that wasn't "Ruckus" or anything called "Grabuge" (I don't even know what that is supposed to be... but it's certainly no Transformers figure/character that I've ever heard of...). It was a new character called "OFF-ROAD", intended to replace "Wildrider" (because Hasbro stupidly lost the rights to their own characters' name), as a Stunticon... Saying that he was technically "Ruckus" but renamed "OFF-ROAD" (Not "Grabuge"?!), is like saying "Alpha Bravo" was technically "Evac", they just renamed him... No, he was a new character, just like Alpha Bravo, and Rook... the exception to the 4 new figure/vehicle change-ups in CW, was that they changed "Blast-Off" from a shuttle to a jet, which thematically speaking, makes more sense, but was not well received by the fans, so, we got the online exclusive shuttle version of Blast-Off to replace the jet version... (Thankfully, Toyhax made a conversion decal set and stats/bio card, to convert jet Blast-Off into a new character called "SHAKEDOWN", which I did that, so he could either be a new Combaticon team member or just his own character...) Rook was replaced by a deluxe Groove later on, as Alpha Bravo and OFF-ROAD were replaced by online exclusive figures more closely oriented to their original character names and modes... OFF-ROAD was just left alone. No corrections or changes. Now, I realize that a good little chunk of the "fandom" wants to claim that OFF-ROAD was technically "Ruckus," probably because of the bot coloration being somewhat similar, so I'm sure this is where you've gotten the idea, but as far as I know, this was always pure speculation and conjecture, and never validated by Hasbro... at least not to my knowledge. I could be wrong, and if so, that's fine... I'm just saying that as far as I, personally, know, it's not actually true... So, we still need a modern Ruckus update (even IF the speculation were true), to go along with Windshear and Crankcase... Personally, I am hoping that Nonnef does an upgrade kit for this guy, similar to what he did for the Crankcase figure, so he can have the swing out guns. The Crankcase set was great and really helped give that Triggercon look and feel to the figure... if not, I'm okay with him becoming a double Targetmaster instead... I loved the Needlenose figure, especially after I got the upgrade kit for him, and added on the Nonnef Seeker missile upgrades to him... Now he is just awesome... I will probably end up doing something similar with Windshear... As for Prime Universe Breakdown... I am really looking forward to this guy also, because I was never able to get a good version of him when the series toy waves were out in stores, Bulkhead either, actually... So, since I picked up the Bulkhead figure, I definitely want this guy to go along with him.

Combiner Wars Ruckus/Grabuge was a FunPub-exclusive figure released alongside Needlenose, Spinister, Windsweeper, and Bludgeon, who could combine to form the gestalt called Thunder Mayhem. Look it up.
@franzise3605 Ah, okay. I do vaguely remember that set of figures, now that you mention it. I appreciate you reminding me about those guys, as I had completely forgotten about them... I stand corrected. When they were first announced, I had planned to just customize a set of my own, especially Bludgeon, but I never did get around to getting them done, and so totally forgot about them... except for Bludgeon, whose custom bits and base figure I just found again yesterday while organizing a few totes. As I recall, the figures looked pretty good, but I don't remember a whole lot about the set itself. 🤔 I would definitely like to see a review of those figures from someone that I can stand listening to for more than 5 minutes... (Emgo, Optibotimus, Peaugh, or reviewers like them, are definite NO's for me...) Any good suggestions?
@@shanehai2699 I don't really feel comfortable promoting other channels in someone's comments so I'll just suggest doing a search on CZcams, it was a limited set so there aren't that many reviews and imo it doesn't hurt to get perspectives from different reviewers, opinions may vary
@@shanehai2699sir, Offroad was created as a substitute for Wildrider in Combiner Wars because they could not get the name Wildrider. Wildrider was later released as Breakneck. Ruckus, or Grabuge, was released in the Transformers Collectors Club for like 2016 and that whole year was Mayhem Attack Squad and Wreckers that combine. Grabuge was one of the parts of the combiner Thunder Mayhem.
I hate these double packs. I want Windsweeper, and the up coming Ruckus, but not Breakdown, or the Bludgeon variant :/ At least they're not all in another crazy 5 pack @_@
Ozone and Cleansweep were members of the Eco Warriors sub-team in GIJoe.
There will be another Doom and Destruction pack with IDW Bludgeon and Ruckus remolds of Lagacy Bludgeon and Beachcomber.
