Ich habe einen 2019 Ford Edge bei dem alle bisher zu Programmierenden Funktionen auch funktionieren.Nur das Auto Hold will nicht gelingen, es ist zwar eine neue Registerkarte entstanden und die Funktion autohold wird auch aktiv angezeigt lässt sich aber nicht einschalten. Ist es möglich, im S-Max mit Sync 3 den Fahrspurpiloten zu aktivieren, der das Fahrzeug automatisch in der Fahrspurmitte hält? )Damit meine ich nicht den normalen Spurhalteassistenten, der nur gegenlenkt wenn man die Linie überfährt).Alle anderen Assistenten sind schon an Board, also BLIS, iACC, VZE, usw....

Which car do you have? Also a Focus or a different one?
Usually only the options are available which you also have in your IPC.
I also discovered that it takes sometimes some time for some items to appear and also an additional reboot of Sync is not the worst idea.
Wollte mal fragen ob man das irgendwo gegen Bezahlung freischalten lassen kann, weil selbst würde ich ungern am Auto was verändern.
In einer Ford Werkstatt wird das vermutlich niemand machen.
Ggf. jemanden suchen der in deiner Nähe Wohnt und FORScan hat 🙂
Ansonsten einfach selbst versuchen wie in meinen Videos gezeigt und auf meiner Seite beschrieben. Backup nicht vergessen. Dann kannst du jederzeit ja wieder den Auslieferungszustand wieder einspielen.
Gibt es immernoch keine Möglichkeit die alte schwarze sync 3 Skin Theme Oberfläche zu aktivieren oder sogar neue aufzuspielen ? Mich stört dieses Blau nach wie vor sehr.
Jein - mit dem Sync 3 Jailbreak (Video #102) kann man Modifikationen sowie auch Themes aufspielen. Es gibt diverse Themen, auch ein schönes schwarzes.

Could be two reasons, either your APIM has no such feature or it´s with regards to the FORScan Version.

Hi, you can use the same OBD2 device. It doesn´t matter if you have the standard (free) licence or if you have the extended licence (paid). Both will be usable with this version as well. Just in case you can uninstall this version later and install your current one if you want.
That is really nice mod, i`d say, thanks and greetings from Trier. Anyway I am driving Mondeo Hybrid and in the menu sections around the odometer i have a possibility to see drive assistants which I am not able to add in the centerstack possibility. For that reason I would like to ask you do I need to update my APIM somehow to a last version and if yes do you have a possibility to do it instead of me?

Hi. This can be caused by several reasons
The most possible one is, that the drive assistant which you want to enable in APIM is not yet implemented by FORScan (for your Model). There is nothing which you can do, just wait for the next update and hope it will be added.
An update if the APIM is a little bit risky and this would most likely not add the requested feature. So the only solution is to wait, unfortunately.

Soweit ich weiß hat das Sync im Kuga keine Möglichkeit mit allen Datenbussen zu kommunizieren, somit kommen die Befehle nicht an den Modulen an, auch wenn man im Sync etwas betätigt.

Hi. Centerstack is the main item which needs to be enabled to get the items visible in SYNC. All other items need to be enabled one by one

Einstellungen bleiben bei einem Update bestehen bzw. sollen es. Außer Ford meine etwas ändern zu müssen 😅 Gab es meines Wissens nach nur von Sync 3.3 auf 3.4. Klima war nach Update weg, da zusätzliche Einstellungen notwendig wurden.

In der Liste ist Auto Hold aufgeführt. Ist das die Funktion, die das Auto halt an der Ampel zum Beispiel? Könnte ich das an meinem Puma mit Automatik auch aktivieren?
Auto Hold ist die Funktion das die Feststellbremse aktiviert wird, wenn das Auto komplett still steht. Man muss also nicht mehr auf der Bremse stehen.
Beim anfahren löst sich die Bremse wieder automatisch.
Bei mir gibt es einen Knopf in der Mittelkonsole im das ein- oder auszuschalten. Alternativ über das Menü.
Ob es bei einem bestimmten Model funktioniert ist immer schwer zu sagen. Ausprobiert und zur Not wenn es nicht funktioniert wieder rückgängig machen oder weiter experimentieren 😉
Hallo und guten Tag, mit Forscan komme ich gut klar, aber diese o.g. Einstellung geht bei mir nicht. Mein Mondi ist von Ende 2018 und Sync ist 3.4. Aber Centerstack Settings gibt's bei mir nicht. Heißt das evtl. noch anders? Für eine schnelle Antwort wäre ich sehr dankbar. Gruß Micha
Hi, kann am APIM Modul (Firmware) liegen, kann aber auch an der verwendeten FORScan Version verliegen.

WARNUNG! It is not allowed to use configuration and programming functions in case of wrong version specified, as it may cause module damage. If the module version is not correct, please remove vehicle profile and reconnect, specifying correct version.

Hallo, nein müsste alles korrekt und ok sein.
Wenn ich mich recht erinnere kommt der Hinweis nur ein Mal, danach nicht mehr (wenn man das gleiche Profil verwendet).
Früher musste man manuell die SYNC Versionen auswählen, jetzt geschieht dies automatisch aber der Hinweis ist weiterhin geblieben.
Wenn du SYNC 3 hast (wovon ich zu 99,9% ausgehe) ist alles gut.
Is it correct this will only work with cars on 19 plate and over. Tried on my 18 plate and only cross traffic and camera appeared and greyed out

Hi. It depends on the Model and the features implemented. Some can only be controlled via IPC only. This depends on the Model you are using.
A lot of dependencies which is the reason I cannot tell you exactly what will work and what not, even on my car. Try and error :)

@@MyFordFocus super, das meiste hat bei meinem Kuga Baujahr 2020 gut funktioniert. Nur das mit den colored buttons nicht, das Du bei der Klimaanlage Aktivierung übers Display angesprochen hast

Ich habe S Max 2019 aktuelle Sync 3.4
Frage wegen Cross Traffic Alert in Bordcomputer kann ich das aktivieren/ Deaktivieren mit Forscan APIM habe ich das Aktiviert wird aber im Display grau angezeigt ( kann nicht bedient werden)
und wenn ein Auto von der seite kommt ertönt ein signal und wird Visuel mit den Pfeilen angezeigt.
Frage warum wird das grau angezeigt muss ich noch irgend was umstellen.
Bei mir funktioniert ebenfalls nicht alles. Es hängt zum Teil davon auch ab welches Modell (Focus, Kuga, ...) man hat das es dort ebenfalls Unterschiede gibt was möglich ist bzw. was funktioniert oder nicht

Not all variants have the same options
It depends on several factors, so it cannot be answered that easily.
Best case would be that maybe with a FORScan update you get more options. Worst case would be that it's not related to FORScan but due to other factors like Variant, Options you have installed in your car or Firmware of the Module.

There is no list what is supported or not. Only Ford knows it.

Either you wait for a FORScan update (if it is a FORScan topic) or you could try to update your APIM Firmware which is risky and even then it's not guaranteed that you will get more options.

It depends on your configuration and on your model. Not all of them which can be enabled and are visible on the screen are actually working.

Relock should according my knowledge lock you car automatically again after you unlocked it but no door was opened within 45 sec.

Hängt von der verwendeten FORScan Version ab (am besten die neuste installieren) und was FORScan speziell für dein Modell unterstützt.
Eine Sache kannst du noch probieren. Schaue dir in APIM die AS-BUILT an

An der Stelle wo ein * ist muss eine 1 stehen. Falls dort eine 0 steht, musst du das ändern. Wie immer auf eigene Gefahr.

Yes sure.
Just give it a try. I recommend to backup your settings first as described on my website or you remember which settings you changed to undo them just in case you want to go back to stock.
Which settings in FORScan are exactly available depends on several factors as well if all of them will work or just some of them. Try and error :)
@@MyFordFocus I was try it today and work it. Little bit were difficult, because my FORscan was just demo version. But I had registrated on forscan site, so I have 2 month extended license.
Some function what I turn on my car don't work, because my car not have some equipment, for example rear camera etc... But I can turn off my lamp. What very annoyed me that I could not turn off, so I was afraid, that battery will is running low. And I'm happy, that I can handle other function on the screen.
On the other hand I have a question.
I don't have rear camera my car and I would like it one. If I buy a camera, I can assembly immediately above the license plate or I have to pull cable before through the car?

Wenn SYNC 3 verbaut ist (wovon ich ausgehe), dann vermutlich ja. Welche Punkte dann tatsächlich funktionieren hängt von der Ausstattung ab.
Einfach Mal ausprobieren und zur Not Änderungen nochmal rückgängig machen

Die Firmware deine APIMs ist vermutlich zu alt und müsste aktualisiert werden. Zu 99,99% sicher, dass es so ist.
Ferndiagnose ist immer schwierig.

Verstehe nicht das so ein Menü nicht ab Werk eingeschaltet ist. Das sieht ja alles richtig modern aus.
Finde ich auch, unglaublich.
Ja, ist ab Werk aus alles vorhanden. Mit den Parametern schaltet man quasi nur die Funktionen ein bzw. aus. Einige Parameter benötigen dann noch weitere Einstellungen (z.B. in anderen Modulen) damit sie auch richtig funktionieren. Deshalb sind einige ausgegraut. Mit der Zeit finden wir aber auch für die deaktivierten hoffentlich einen Weg diese zu aktivieren :)

Sync 3 Probleme.
Nachdem Motor einschalten kommt am Sync 3 erst Ford Logo wie es sein muss. Das Logo verschwindet zirka nach 30 Sekunden ohne dass das System hoch fährt. Das Bildschirm bleib dunkel und das Radio lässt sich weder umschalten nie ausschalten. Das hat allen passiert in dem ich im Menü alle Einstellungen zurückgesetzt
habe.
Jegliche Lösungen wie Akku abklemmt oder Reset durch zwei Tasten am Radio sind gescheitert.
Wäre es vielleicht möglich das Problem durch ForsCan zu beseitigen?

Mit FORScan die Einstellungen einfach wieder rückgängig machen bzw. Backup einspielen.
Auf das APIM Modul kann man auch zugreifen ohne Zündung einzuschalten und somit ohne dass das APIM / SYNC an sein muss.
Falls es an den Parametern gelegen hat, müsste danach wieder alles normal funktionieren.
Bitte ich brauche Hilfe, weil ich das Begrüßungslicht deaktivieren möchte...
Schau dir Mal das Video #125 an. Ggf. ist das interessant für dich.

aber ich muss das oben Gesagte noch in ASBUILT ändern.
Leider gibt es die Informationen öffentlich nicht.
Deshalb ist viel probieren angesagt.
Es gibt Leute die Versuchen was sie herausgefunden haben zu sammeln, aber sie Listen sind nie vollständig und zum Teil Model und Baujahr spezifische.
