Firebending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the pyrokinetic ability to control fire. It is unique among the bending arts, as it is the only one in which the performer can generate the element. The first human firebenders lived in a city atop a lion turtle during the era of Raava and the art later spread to the Sun Warriors, the Fire Nation, and the United Republic of Nations. The Earth Kingdom also has a small firebending minority.

It’s his voice actor, they have different people who write the scripts, voice over and edit. It’s impossible for the voice actor to watch the show because they do a new franchise every week. It’s literally impossible. They’ve been listening to comments though...each video is getting better.

Yes. Fire draws from the chi of the body and a drive sort of like Zuko wanting to capture the avatar and Aang wanting to fulfill his role as the avatar.

My only quip is maybe write it a “shy” (as in timid) to get the pronunciation across better? “Sha” might sound like Japanese Sakura right before she hits something. That or a generic bro trying to tell sometime “yeah dude” and it instead sounds like “sha” dude.

Why didn’t Avatar Korra learned how to bend blue fires, bend many colored fires, lighting generation, lighting redirection, and combustion bending?
Blue fire is unique to azula, only dragons can produce multicolored fire, we don’t know if she knew how to generate lightning and I’m sure she could learn redirection easily. And she didn’t have the third eye tattoo required to combustion bend

@@ng7756 No, it is not, many firebending masters, such as Iroh, Ozai, and Jeong Jeong do not use blue fire. It was the mark of someone who's naturally gifted with fire, able to maintain the hottest flame. It is also connected with her skill with lightning, being emotionless and cold, unlike normal fire which is fueled by emotion.
@@MrSignman65 That seems right. But at the same time Azula wasn't born with blue fire and lightning has nothing to do with the color of your fire.
So fun fact colored bending is totally possible for any fire bender but it has to do with their drive, chi, and ability

If the fire benders can also get power from the earths core why aren’t they able to bend during solar eclipse? Same with volcanos why don’t they just visit a volcano during a eclipse so they can still firebend?

History of combustion bending plz
Some toxic fans say that LoK ruined the lore of firebending bc they said that firebending from the Lionturtles but if they actually listen it was explained that the ability of Firebending was *given* by the Lionturtles while the Dragons were the *Masters or Teachers* of Firebending.
I don’t think the fire nation ever realised that if they killed the avatar every time he got reincarnated, they could go until they got to a fire bender avatar and train him to help in the war and help them win..

With the Netflix live version of Avatar coming soon, I hope they feature a firebender who can produce different colors of flames. *I especially want to see a firebender who has green or purple flames.* If Azula can have blue flames, other firebenders can have other colors of fire.
They wouldnt do that, blue fire is considered the hottest form of fire and azula’s fire is blue because of that. It is also probably aesthetic but unless the creators can come up with a good explanation I don’t want to see it.

I think that you should add a segment about the subbending forms of firebending: lightning generation and redirection and combustionbending, also talk about colors fire, such as the dragons chromatic fire and Azula’s blue and white flames.
I always get fire as my element when ever I take those kinds of fun quizzes even non avatar related ones. Maybe it has something to do with me being born in august? So I guess if avatar universe was real I’d be a fire bender. Shame cus I personally like waterbending more.

As the Foggy Swamp Tribe’s waterbending is rigid in movements whereas the North and South Pole r gracefully flexible, I’ll bet if a firebender was taught by a Phoenix they would b gracefully flexible and probably produce that rainbow fire Ran and Shaw did too.

I am curious to know why there are so many more men that fireband then women. This is also true for earthbending. In waterbending it’s explained in the whole healing at the North Pole scene in ATLA. In airbending it’s explained in your other video. I know there are a few including of course azula but still. Can someone please explain. I hope they include more inclusive stories in the new ATLA series on Netflix.

i have an issue with lavabending! it doesn’t seem realistic for an earth bender to heat earth and manipulate it in such a way. if anything, this ability should have been bestowed upon fire benders, or made possible only by a collaboration between both fire and earth benders, like mud is bent by both water and earth benders. but oh well, oh well.

I have to disagree on a full moon weaking a firebender. If anything it would their weakness not as weak and I'm talking very minimal difference only cause a full moon is reflecting sunlight so a full moon would also mean its the day firebenders are the "least" weak. To think about it another way in terms of power is that 2 people want to cross a river and a fire bender with no bending is given sticks to help him get by while a waterbender with no bending is given a motor that slowly gets more horse power. That's the difference)
