After we went over many bending abilities of the individual elements, it’s time for us to take a look at what only Avatars are able to do, as they are the only physical being with the ability to bend all four elements, either simultaneously or individually. Due to being partially a spirit, the bending power of Avatars is much, much stronger than that of an ordinary person, thus putting them at a considerable advantage over their opponents and making them nearly impossible to beat.

Sozin's comet since Ozai was definitely a stronger fire bender,but Aang has the other elements plus avatar state to help him hold his own(tbh without avatar state I'm not so sure Aang would've won).
Mobslayer 211 I’m going to be honest, in his prime I think that Aang would go onto become one of the most powerful avatars. People seem to seem to forget that he is one of the worlds youngest air bending masters and was very proficient at waterbending, earthbending and firebending in less than a year. He has the spiritual and physical aspects of bending down, is an avid learner, wise beyond his years and has great respect for all four nations; their cultures and teachings. imagine him if he had five years before the comet arrived.

All Firebenders are augmented by the comet including Aang. We also have to remember that the Comet has actually arrived before, so he would have the experience of the previous Avatars in using such power.

You forgot when Korra energybended the spirit beam thing in the end of season 4. That was incredibly powerful and interesting.
Although Korra was the best spiritbender out there, her uncle and Tenzin showed that others can also do it.

@@zarkahmed3199 Spirit bending is a branch of healing capabilities of a water bender. It can be used to impose calmness or anger to spirits. What Airbenders does is called spiritual projection which is useful for exploration and reconnaissance.

@@a.morphous66 It is actually more powerful now, the power came from raava, when Wan bonded with raava, she could fit inside a tea kettle, korra bonded with a raava that is probably 50 times larger. Her disadvantage is the lack of guidance from past lives, but in terms of raw power, she is multiple times stronger. I could only imagine that any previouse avatar will not be able to handle the energy beam.
I thought this was going to be a video of multiple element combos impossible for other single benders to perform, i wasn’t disappointed but i hope this is a video in the future
The "Enhanced Earth Levitation" one isn't that much stronger than a regular master earth bender. Kyoshi may have moved large statues of Badgermoles, but King Bumi moved multiple houses at once, and an even bigger statue of Ozai

Spirit energy was really energy bending on a more literal sense. Not the energy within a person but rather the raw physical manifestation of energy made by the cannon

What I like the most during the final battle is Aang compressing large rocks into small stones, then firing it ala machine gun style. It also sounds awesome.

When it comes to energy bending I think the only reason the avatar was the only one to do it is because the lion turtle only gave it to Aang and nobody else.
I think every Avatar can do It, because of Raava. Wan used energybending to close the portals, and He didn't get It from a lion turtle. Maybe Aang just didn't unlock the skill, and the lion turtle had to do It for him.
I know that the episode isnt about Unalaq but it would be interesting to find out what would happen if Unalaq won the final battle against the Avatar?

AreYouComp Then the avatar will be impossible to beat, but you can’t bloodbend a spirit, and the avatar doesn’t really need to learn how to blood band because they are very resourceful, no water around to bend, use earthbending, no earth around the bend use water bending, you are away from both of these elements, use fire bending or air bending, or you can use water from the air to Waterbend if it is moist enough, but if an avatar could bloodbend and they would be unstoppable since there are a better water bender than any other water bender, and an avatar is already impossible to beat

Grant Daniel Aquino I mean I do hope for a continuation but NOT with a new avatar cycle like hell nah that would be so complicated since everything the new avatar learns must come from Korra. That’s not the same as the Avatar after the very first Avatar because he learnt originally from spirits. The whole new avatar cycle beginning at Korra would be a big mess.

Connection to the Past Avatar Lives:
I know the major critisism legend of Korra get is about the connection to the past lives are severed. I know that 10,000 wisdoms are wasted and you will not be able to see Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, Yang chen, Wan and any known avatar again* but honestly im okay with that , the first time i saw Aang again as an adult makes me happy but i dont really feel the connection with adult aang obviously his voiced changed (that's part of growth i know) and we didn't really see Aang growing like what i mean Animated series about him as an adult or even comics and his personality really changed, from being funny kid/teen to an adult serious but wise Avatar. Honestly Old Toph and Adult Sokka are the only characters from the Gaang that i felt connected with , they didn't really change much in terms of speaking and personality. Korra survived without the help of her past avatar lives, she draws wisdom from different peoples that surrounds her, like Tenzin, IROH, Toph, Katara, Zuko and many more, Aang didn't even listen to his past Lives EVEN ROKU that guided him, Aang chosed his own path. And it helps her character development alot ,S4 korra is absolutely different from S1 and S2 korra that some haters always mentioned, Next Avatar power comes from Raava, having more lifetimes doesn't do anything other than providing wisdom i guess(but im curious how Aang can energybend korra, i thought Avatar past lives are only spirits)
overall i know its important but its fine and if you ask me ; How about the next avatar after Korra? I know that could be his problem but the question is are the creators gonna make another animated tv series again after avatar korra? Well for me its 70% to 80% no, but if they make another animated series after korra it will receive another hate due to its Modern and Futuristic theme, some of you already hate the Steampunk w/ mecha suits in legend of korra what more if its to modern and futuristic( Jet planes, Smartphones, Machine Guns, Space Rockets, etc.) Right? And lastly if you are really mad about what the creators did in the Past Avatar connection, Do you know you can create your own plot, Create one in which she or the next avatar reconnects with their past lives. Your Imagination is limitless. 😊

Bumi was capable of bending enormous mounds of rock as well. In his match against Aang, he stalemates him with an enormous boulder hanging over them. Maybe Avatars can bend even larger boulders than that, but it's hard to say considering the feats we see Bumi alone perform.

I don't think earth armour is something unique to avatars. At one point in the finale Toph made metal armour (which I assume is harder than earth armour to pull off) from a door on an airship, and the Dai li also wore rock gloves and shoes

That Earth Levitation point is kinda mute seing how bumi existed. He threw factories out of his city, I'd say we can give that one to him, therefore it is not avatar only. Guess it depends on how large something has to be to be considered "enhanced" but that Ozai statue (wich granted he did not lift, just push over) was for sure the largest thing any earthbender has ever manipulated in the original show outside of creating an island.

These are just generally advanced abilities. Most of these abilities are used by many different characters
