Bending is the ability to manipulate an element and is significant to many aspects of life in the world. There are five known bending arts; four of them bend a specific physical element while the fifth bends the energy within the human body itself. The only case of any one person being able to bend multiple elements is the Avatar, who has the ability to practice all five bending arts.

Remember when iroh talked to Zuko about drawing wisdom from other bending styles...8:41 has Zuko defending Azula’s attack, but he does it with a very rigid stance similar to earth bending. Also, right before that, he begins his attack with a smooth circle ish motion similar to water bending ...I just thought that was interesting
Fire Bending also csn detect when something is wrong in the body (like healing), only it can't heal.

I have a theory that energy bending was once a bending manipulating the energy within themselves or within someone else. Energy bending became lost for it had turned into elemental bending. That’s why almost no avatar had done energy bending since Avatar Wan (I think) until Aang.

can you explain if possible why the original source of bending went from badger moles, dragons, air bisons etc in the last air bender to the lion turtles in the legend of kora? Or have i missed something?
I've always been a bit confused when people say bison are the original airbenders. Did the lions turtles give the bison the ability or did they gain it without them and then the airbenders learned from them?

That was impossible and awesome! Avatar is a best and has multiple elements both strength and balance. Both Benders and non-benders need to learn lesson and practice. They should keep practices train well with power balance new skills.
what confuses me is im rewatching atla and princess yuie explains water bending as if they learned it from watching the moon but LOK explains they got it from the lion turtles so which one is it did they learn it or were they given it

Now I know it is not proven (I am not sure if it has been proven wrong either) but through the use of air bending isn't possible to some extent for one to have the ability to Sound Bend? Also you forgot the water and earth bending sub skills of Plant/Vine and Sand Bending. It may not be a sub skill but you should've mentioned the notable ability to sense the chi paths in some using fire bending.
Aang has the ability to silence his movements and with certain instruments can create sonic attacks.
I have a theory: the oldest firelord that we know is Chu the Elder. We know of him bc or Avatar Wan’s life that he showed to Korra. We also know that Wan lived on the fire lion turtle.
The first fire lord actually made an appearance in the comics, it's likely that the people of the Fire lion turtle spread out and made their own communities and kingdoms, the first fire lord united them.

Honestly, I believe that all the lion turtles disappeared, so they needed to learn a new way of bending in the avatar universe, so they learnt from the Sky Bisons, the Dragons, The Bager moles and the moon.
