A coworker of mine used to bring these for gatherings/holidays all the time, and they were one of the first things devoured.
I have been binge watching slider videos and I have been inspired to make a video with my home made Hawaiian rolls and use my home canned sweet onion jam… am I making you hungry?
Yes you are.
These look really good. Thanks for sharing
My pleasure 😊
Oooo! Add some shredded chicken and make cour don bleu slidders. Yum
Great Idea Kathy
Hello Greg! These look so good and thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day!
Thank you! You too!
Oooh, I was feeling you pain from those onions! Usually Vidalia or 1015's are less potent than regular onions, but they can all pack a punch to the eyes and nose! The sarnies look amazing! I'd keep them in mind for a party, but with all the onions...I dunno!?! I expect I'd just have to keep the peppermints handy! lol! Tfs, and happy to hear your mum's feeling better. Stay safe and well!
Thank you Cristy. And you can always use less onions or even none at all
This look so good, thanks for sharing, stay connected Regards Akshata.💓💓💓💓
Thank you, I will
Yummy my 🍽 is ready.. sounds delicious
Hope you enjoy
We love Hawaiin rolls and use them all the time for sammies. These look so good Greg!! I will definitely have to give them a try!! Ham and swiss is the perfect combo!!
Thanks Karen !!
Looks great. I have a recipe some what like this one. BTW, laughed all the way through the video, must have been one hot onion! God Bless and stay safe.
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks really good!
It is!
If you ever get the hair to make your own rolls, King Arthur Flour has an awesome recipe for Hawaiian rolls. I made these once with honey dijon mustard and provolone cheese, they turned out pretty good. There is another version that's an antipasto with salami its pretty good. My kids love these on movie and game night.
Thanks for the tip!
Yummm thank you
Looks yummy 😋 thanks for sharing ❤
My pleasure 😊
Greg we made these tonight for dinner and the hubby raved about them. So good!!
Glad you like them!
I love these…I make them a little different….I make a glaze with melted butter, mustard, poppy seeds & Worcestershire & brown sugar to brush on top before baking, but I really like the idea of cooking the onions first….yummy…..I have used deli roast beef & provolone cheese….I’m sure any combo of meats & cheese would be good…hope you having a good week…
Brenda
Sounds great!
This looks so good!😊
It really is!
Gotta try these. Yum. Wondering ....... would parchment paper between the foil and buns be helpful? Just asking
Actually, that might be a perfect idea....I will definately give that a try...thanks for the tip Sharon
Looks good! When I saw Hawaiian I immediately thought pineapple which wouldn’t work for my family. Hawaiian rolls is a different matter! Since I could make this ahead of time and put these in the frig they’d be great for when we need a late dinner.
I hope y'all enjoy them
What do you think about using everything bagel seasoning on the top, these look delish!
I think that would taste great...might have to try that when I make them again..thank you for the idea.
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen also meant to ask if you had a cookbook for sale?

Thank you Lisa
I would not be able to eat the onions so matter what. Not a onion person. Neither is my family.
To much onion
