Blacksburg MTB | Chimney to Mineral Way | Stone Cutters Hollow Trail Review

In this video we are riding Chimney and Mineral Way in the Stone Cutters Hollow section of trails in Blacksburg, VA. Access to these trails is a bit tricky as you have to come down from the fire road coming from either McDonalds Hollow, Gateway, or Pandapas Pond trails. You can ride to the Stone Cutters Hollow trail entrance from the road if you part at McDonald Hollow. The entrance is located about 1/4 mile from the McDonald Hollow Parking lot heading back towards Gateway.
Chimney is a really fun and flowey trail leading from the fire road down. It splits off to other trails and it makes its way down and back up to Gateway. We are going to follow Mineral Way down to the bottom.

They are fun for sure, i just wish it was easier to get to the top and or part somewhere closer.

@@TheShift1313 No kidding, the climb up McDonald Hollow can be brutal. I find climbing the trails, instead of the fire road (highway) much easier.

I might try to get out there this afternoon, although I usually go in the morning. Of course that'll have to change once the kids get back to school.
