Do you have any Schleich customization tips? 🥹💖 LMK!

Hi! I have done a few repaints before! I recommend to paint/spray the horse completely white before you start, so you have a nice clean base! I prefer to use acrylic paint and I use soft pastels to create shadows on the horse. I would also recommend to use a fixation spray so the paint won’t come off, I think the not-shiny ones usually look more realistic and just better in general, but that might just be me! I am not a professional at repainting and I don’t do it that often, I’m just speaking from my own experiences! Hope the tips help though!❤❤

Repainting tips I would give are to water down your acrylics. It does take more coats but it turns out so much nicer and its not thick and goopy. If you're going to use pastels which I recommend using makeup brushes is a big help. And the best sealer is Mr. Super clear Matte! Hope this helps!

@@BecksCreations I believe I use Prismacolor soft pastels! Many artists use pan pastels but they can be quite expensive!

So pretty!!😍I recommend airbrush because honestly it’s so much quicker than trying to blend with paint but I started with pastels as it’s a lot cheaper! Oh and get a waterproof mat…just trust me😂😂😂😂

I used to customize schleich! What I would suggest is acrylic matt finished paint for a base color. After I paint the model I sprayed it with a varnish called Mr. Super Clear matte finish. That would help to seal the paint and id you are using some type of varnish I'd choose spray varnish, it has a less chance of build up. You can shade with paint or I used chalk pastels. I have repainted somw os my horses but im not a professional so i dont really have any tips i just kinda wing it lol i think of a color and try to make it lol. Also i have a question does the horse feel like the other 2024 models? Bc it doesn't look like the other lol tbh it looks more realistic then the other horses lol

It feels pretty similar in material! He is very realistic, but I did note the seams weren’t sanded off well.
