The ex-husband was completely delusional if he thought that all those men were interested in Mary. He went to extreme lengths to manipulate and lie to Mary and get her fired all so he would have to "share" her with anyone. What's really unnerving is the fact that even after Mary filed for divorce her ex STILL wouldn't leave her alone, stopping only when he ended up in jail. Love and possessiveness are very different.

Seems like he learned this lesson after a while in jail, otherwise, he wouldn't be saying that.
It's despicable how far some men will go to keep their women to themselves.
What is sad about that situation is that he has proven to have a serious dose of possessiveness and undue paranoia and it will cause him to lose his wife and never get her back, so in the end he will have to live without her forever.
What a terrible shame it was all due to his unwillingness to trust his wife and his own insecurities and look where that's gotten him
What did he expect in the end? Dick was obsessed with making Mary look plain instead of appreciating her for who she is inside. No wonder she couldn't tolerate his insecurities and delusions any longer. Mary did the right thing to divorce Dick and tell the cops everything he did to her including falsely getting her fired and trying to force her to do the breast reduction. He's going to be spending some time in jail for what he done.
That is a small price he will have to pay whether he likes it or not,oh well, one man's loss is another man's treasure.
No matter where Mary gets a job at, her husband would only think that other mens are flirting with her.
That is because his own warped mind believed otherwise and always will for the wrong reasons.
I would think if this husband wants to prevent men from being close to his wife Mary, he should never pay someone to seduce his wife. Sure, at first, he didnt want men to chase his wife but he ended up paying a man to chase his wife. What if the guy he paid ended up chasing his wife for sex? So any husband that don't want his wife to be any target should not hire someone to seduce his wife. Paying someone to seduce his wife at the nursing home would be same as forcing his wife to have sex with another man. So rule number 1 of being an overprotective husband is not to ever pay a man to seduce his wife under any circumstances.

Not only that but it also teach the reality that no one should treat you like a prisoner or property to another person in one way or another for any reason whatsoever.
The ex-husband didn't want to love her for what she wanted. He just wanted to destroy her slowly and painfully, because he was so jealous of her for being more beautiful than him to get everything he wants. He thought that if everyone can have her, then he will never have her, but that is not what she lived for. She loved her and he paid her back by ruining her life, so that he could use her for his own delusions. Even if she is his wife, that doesn't mean he can control her life all the time for his own ends.
Not only that but he should have the ability to have a bit of common sense to know the difference between right and wrong, but have the ability to know that when she is working, she is doing her job and not flirting with other men to begin with for crying out loud, like seriously learn to get a grip on reality and trust your spouse and not get paranoid unless it's totally called for down the line.
That's a crazy man .

One day Gloria's husband Mark, who is a cop, went to jail for improper use of police force towards a black man. Mark was sentenced to 10 years in jail and Gloria was taking care of May. After Mark was arrested, Gloria and May wasn't doing so well in the beginning. Gloria had to get a job and was barely home for May and May wasn't doing so well in school because Gloria wasn't there to help May with school work. Then recently, someone been sneaking into Gloria's home when she and May wasn't around. Nothing was ever stolen but her fridge was full with lots of food, more than enough for May and her. And some of her power bills were paid for without her knowledge. Gloria seemed to be relieved for extra support but was worried on account for not know who was it. Then one day, Gloria finally caught who it was. The culprit was James, the same black man who Mark was using improper force towards. Gloria was gonna call the police but James begged Gloria to let him explain himself. James explained to Gloria that after Mark took advantage of police force to hurt James, he wanted to get pay back so James hired a private investigator to pursue and collect evidence on Mark. After finding massive amounts of evidence of Mark using his police force to terrorized black folks, James took it to court and Mark was arrested. But James didn't know Mark had a family who was struggling, so he chose to help them in secret because he thought Gloria hated him for putting Mark behind bars. Gloria then explained to James that she's wasn't angry with him for anything. After the incident, James kept in touch with Gloria and May, providing help in anyway. James helped with the bills and help May with her school work. And eventually, May began to open up to James and they got along so well like how May did with her father. It didn't take long for James and Gloria to fall for one another and they eventually got married. 5 years later, Mark was released due to good behavior and was shocked to see James and Gloria together. Mark was angry and asked Gloria " How could you be with that monster who destroyed our family"? Then Gloria said that Mark was the real monster and was thankful to James to help to realize it before Mark's influence affected May.
Love the plot, and it would be nice to have it done â and also seen one day.

Tyrell: Those guys, we never anticipated showing up on a Saturday and were probably grandsons to the older folks.

You nailed it perfectly and I will admit that the end of this story you put together is just and fair and to remind the husband that he must be willing to trust his wife and know that when she is working, she is doing her job and not just there to flirt with other men one way or another.
