That’s right, Football Manager 2024 has been out for one month and that means that everyone’s saves are already falling apart. It’s time to dive in and see if we can save them, and boy are dynamics absolutely trashing everyone this year. There are massive dynamics issues across the board so we’re diving into how to fix it.
There’s also a lot of confidence with tactics which is great! Just some of the tactics you all cooked up, not so great, but you will get there I promise you. I have a few ideas to fix your tactics right now actually, they will probably solve that bad defense you have going on right now. I’m talking to the person reading this description right now. Yes, you, there is something in this video that will help you.

Hi it’s the den Bosch guy. And I see what you mean however after submitting I trooped on. Sold cesar Because he became unrested and palace was after him so 25 million for him sold moller also. Bought some good young talent who are still developing. That aguero is quality now and won golden boy award. And I’m now with 10 games to go on the same points as 2nd (feyenord) in with a real shout at ucl. Thank you ever so much I’ve tweeked my tactic and we seem to not be conceeding as many goals thanks 😂 (update. Fernandez who’s played about 5 goals all season scored a last minute equaliser to send us roaring into the ucl)
I don't consider myself good at this game, but watching what happens on SYS makes me feel a lot better about myself.
I often seen people that actually understand how tactics, training and all of the meta works, so it makes me feel like I'm a super noob, but maybe I'm not that bad 😅😅🙏🏻🙏🏻

Kevin cameo is on point. Also, as a long time FM player, this is one of the best save your saves. some great recruitment strategies, especially if you like a journeyman save.

Sometimes you have to because people skip through the ad and that helps making more money. For 20 seconds it wasn’t that bad
I still wish for dynamic ability. Like if player has average rating of 8.0 he improves. Up to some point of course, depending on the quality of league and success in international and continental football.

That and dynamic potential. Your play could win the ballon d'or and he would still not improve one bit, i dont get why fm insists so much on fixed potential. I had so many instances of my youngsters or even just regular players performing above expectations but they never got to true stardom because they had low potential
@@royeltea The concept of potential doesnt make sense at all, Players dont have some sort of potential number, they just have the current ability and based on their strenght/weaknesses room to improve inside their potential.
@@skottitohotti not really. someplayers reach their peak at 19-20 and dont develop further because they are bad and they hit their maximum very early.
@@n1troni but they dont do so because of some random number but because they are not determined or have to much weaknesses or get enough gametime etc Things that are already in the game so no need for some random number
I'm still giving this a thumbs up because SYS is my favorite content on your channel. While I appreciate you wanting to try to keep things fresh I'm going to add my voice to those who are saying the way you did the ad in this video isn't one of your better ideas.
I get you have to have sponsors and appreciate it's probably difficult for them since everyone just skips past them so they want to find a way for their stuff to be seen but flipping between the ad read and the SYS every 5 seconds was pretty rough.
fm24 is my first fm and im loving it, all these save your save vidoes really made me better at this game and im glad that there are comming in some new fm24 saves to learn from :)

So many people shown in this series have not filled out their staff i find it insane. It’s literally the first thing I do as soon as I start a save or a new job. How can you play so many hours of the game and still not do that 😂
I really felt those 0-0 against bad BL teams. I am struggling with this for 2 seasons now and sometimes it just is what it is xD. I can play with two defenders and throw everything to the front sometimes it is just n ot happening. I don't know what the Bundesliga is cooking in FM defense wise but it NUTS. Finest Bus parking ever :D
Weirdly, I played as FC Den Bosch on a previous save and won the Eredivise, really loved that save!

me too. i dont know what it is. i think its seeing how others play.
My biggest bit of advice for the first submission is: Don't use 'Attacking' just because you want to attack. Its a bit misleading, but most of what the mentality drop-down does is determine how high up the pitch your players will tend to start, and how much they want to stay high regardless of what is happening. If you set it to "Attacking", the chances are your Wingbacks are going to basically be playing as outright wingers, and your striker (particularly with Advanced Forward) is going to be standing offside literally 60% of the time.
Trust me, I have 5 tactics ready to go, and my main uses "Defensive" mentality, but I get asked by the media every other conference about my attacking style and almost always top the scoring charts. Actual attacking play comes from building passing and movement synergies across your team.
We actually attack way better when I pick "Defensive" because the players are deeper and therefore there are more guys available to pick up a pass.
Need to make more of this zea... Most people still don't understand the power of LOAAANNSSSS... Maybe you can make another video about surviving lower leagues (?) You already have one video but that's from long time ago (FM 20 or 21 ?)
I use a similar tactic as the first save but us it exclusively when playing again 4-2-3-1. Wide centre backs and wing backs are assigned to cover opposition wingers and DM is place centrally to cover the opposition AM. In MF I use a roaming playmaker who is excellent at pulling their CM out of position during build up. Instead of Right winger I have an AM who has the good freedom if the Roaming PM is pressed by opposition. The AP in this formation plays left of the striker as advanced forward to get into the channels and generally move the defence around. Central striker pressing forward. Tactic set up channel play to the wings to congest that side of the pitch. It works especially better if the full backs overlaps because wide CB and WB act like FB and Winger. But leaves 3v3 up front in the transition. Teams who go central or FB that stay back break my tactic. But if you attack, the counter punching ability of the team is second to none. Won L1 with Cheltenham playing this tactic.

Not letting go of players you love, I've got 4 in my Wrexham team, Mullins is still a 3.5 star striker in the prem for me but he's 31 and really not good enough. Back to back promotions with him being top goal scorer in league 2, league 1 and the championship, it's hard. It was back to back promotions and I didn't expect to get to the prem being against West Ham in the play off finals but I went full on control in a hugely defensive formation and beat them on penalties. The prem is rough, I've had to change my tactics and work something that will help me deal with the bigger teams.

I presume the first save was originally on FM23, my ones that I transferred over don't have any good set piece coaches so I just leave that blank but I still score plenty from set pieces

double complete wingbacks on attack is wild but i respect it
I used them in 5-3-2 AM formation with them in the WB formation with a team predicted to finish 20th, 18th and 15th in the PL, I actually finished 12th, 4th and currently 5th 1 point of 4th with 8 games to go. It's good for an underdog team.
I am enjoying the game this year, I have started with Everton, we started on a minus 10 point deduction and we are now on 15 points. I know it's early but we should be just outside the champions league places. I won manager of the month in my second month. The only annoyojy thing so far is having to pay put for clauses in players contracts and leaving me with hardly any cash.

Sounds like a reputation problem. You have probably overachieved with Aldershot and had too much success too soon and couldn’t sustain it. What are your facilities like? Also what type of scouting do you have?

They all know what the problem is but sometimes you have to straight up told that the weird Frankentactic that you created and had initial success with is actually dogshit and that players you now think of as your children will never be good enough and need to be disowned immediately.

I have played every football manager for the last 22yo or so. I find it way too easy. Don’t Mather witch club I play. I probely win the first season. But the thing I really do hate. Is when you have the best team in the game. But you Loose to the last place 3-4. And they haven’t even 4 shots to get the goals.
Not a save but I need help to sort my whole game. EVERY time I start a new game it auto selects a bunch of leagues. The Uruguayan as the main league and also the Argentine leagues. I’ve no idea why and don’t know how to change it. Google doesn’t help either. Help me Obi zealand kenobi. You’re my only hope…….

dont be fooled perhaps i maybe doing something wrong but offering players on trail does come out of your scouting budget i dont know why because you not paying them but can someone just load up a say english league 1 side or lower and offer random trails for a month and then check your scouting budget and let e know thanks
