this is obviously something he has done as an idea late at night. Songwriters often get ideas during the night and instead of waking up the whole house they get their tape deck rolling and hum the idea down on tape so they remember the tune and arrangement ideas. Its very typical of any songwriter to make these sort of short hand tapes.
