BTS world is a game Bighit launched where all the members have their own story line and you are their manager. The stories are all well written 😣 and as you can see in the music video they all have their own stories and paths.
Here’s there roles:
Jin- hotelier
Rm- Detective, writer
Suga- Solo Pianist
Jhope- vet student
Jimin- has a passion for dance lives with his grandma who has a rice cake shop
V- farmer, gamer
Jungkook- famous for taekwando but lost the fame after an injury

This track was made to promote their app game BTS World where we get to go back in time (2012/2013) when BTS wasn't a group yet and be a manager of theirs. It's all about them getting together, or a parallel universe where they didn't meet at all and they would be doing different things :(

And as with several of their songs, this one is dedicated to ARMY, and the 2 worlds colliding could, in my opinion, represent the collision of the worlds of "BTS and ARMY" as well as the collision of the BTS members' 2 worlds (their world as BTS members and their world as individuals with their own identities and paths).
OST means "official sound track." So basically songs made for dramas or shows or games, you can call them OSTs. This is BTS' main OST for their mobile game "BTS World" where you are their manager and experience the journey together for them to become BTS. So it starts in 2012 "where we first met" because that's when the members met each other and became BTS. You can also play their solo stories, which is basically a future where they aren't BTS but rather who they would've become instead. For example, V would've been a farmer if he didn't join BTS, which is what his story is about. Jungkook likes martial arts, RM would be something similar to an inspector or investigator, Hobi would work with animals and Yoongi would be a pianist. BTS World is all about each member's story, it's a great way to learn about them because they act and take pictures specifically for the game too. 💜💜💜

This song is about if BTS didn't know each other in a different universe, and they all have their own lives and jobs and aren't idols. However, they all meet each other anyway in this other universe, and then the two worlds collide. Basically, this song is saying that BTS love each other and have found each other in every universe. But you can see RM and Suga colliding as if to say they were destined to meet because they were both underground rappers. But you can see they then descended into dance practice which was for their DEBUT song No More Dream. They got together and their world started. Which was why there was so much universe going on. "Feel the destiny in you, feel the destiny in me." It talks about ARMY and BTS fates coming together.

As a Bi woman and RM bias I get it lol
BTS World game is half about their origin as a group, training, debut, etc and the other part is individual stories about what the members may have been doing if they hadn't been formed into a group. Taehyng - farmer like his parents, Jungkook - an athlete, Jimin - helping at his grandmother's bakery, RM - detective, J-hope - veterinarian, Suga - pianist, Jin - hotel concierge. You see snippets in the MV of all these story lines.
The BTS World gameplay is basically a photo card-collecting grind, so unless that's your jam, it's not much to checkout. But, there are some cute promo videos+behind the scenes from the game launch last year that are fun to watch.

In the game they are like individuals so, RM is a detective, Jin works at a hotel, Suga plays piano, J-Hope works at a Vet, Jimin works at his grandmas shop, V is a farmer, Jungkook does martial arts.
"it's like 2 worlds colliding" thats a good way to put it. The game revolves around the BTS we know today, and the BTS that never met as BTS living different lives, but their destiny (as the song says) will still find each other.
BTS WORLD is a game (on phone) where you play their manager and get to "see" them debut and follow them through it. They also have an alternative story, hence the different storyline on the MV (Jungkook with Taekwondo, Suga with the piano etc) heartbeat is the main song (OST) and they have other ones they used for the alternative stories !

I'm like half sad half happy at this reaction only because you have part of this video correct.
This is a game, BTS World, and this OST (Original SoundTrack, used for stuff like movies, dramas, games) kills me everytime! You're a new ARMY, so I know that this MV makes some sort of sense and it doesnt at the same time, but it's representing that no matter what their paths were/differed, no matter when they crossed paths, BTS members would have met each other. And the planets colliding and merging, that represents both worlds of their different paths and being BTS and meeting ARMY as something that would've happened eventually (maybe a bit of a stretch there - I have so many thoughts jumbling together cause this song makes me cry no matter what)
Summerizing point is: BTS members and ARMY would STILL find each other no matter what and even in different realities, we will be together.

imagine listening to this in an airplane at night..i cried. if you ever go on an airplane, you have to listen to dream glow, mikrokosmos, and heartbeat. esp while taking off and during the night/sunrise and sunset. it's an amazing experience and whenever i listen to the songs now, i feel the feelings i felt then.

Lol I know you get lost into the music but when you watch the lyric videos, you see who is singing at any given time by which photo is lit up vs which ones are darkened. V was singing with Jungkook earlier in the song where you thought it was RM.
i think this song is also about them saying that bts was their destiny, and that having each other and music was their destiny. its so beautiful :)
