In the music video, it's as if they were wondering what might have occurred if they hadn't met. You can notice that each member has a different job: V works on a farm due to his family's farming background, JK is still studying and is into taekwondo, J-Hope is a veterinarian, Jimin is a baker, Jin is a businessman like his dad, Yoongi is a musician or producer, and RM seems to be a policeman in this video, though he mentioned in an interview that he's uncertain about his career if there are no BTS. It's like this happens in the other dimension. In this video, it's clear that they'd feel something is missing if they hadn't met because they're complete together and can't picture themselves apart or not being artists. Like they often say, in this universe, they were meant to meet.

Heartbeat's MV is basically a What if the members hadn't been in BTS? They are alternate universes based on what would have happened if they didn't follow their true dreams, their ideas that they had long before they fell in love with music, many of the things like J Hope being a Veterinarian is something that he mentioned once as an alternative plan that he had with his life, If Jimin hadn't continued with the dance, would he help at his father's bakery? o Suga playing the piano out of obligation which I think is more based on his BU characterand so with the other members too
Yoongi play piano in BTS WORLD maybe because he can play piano before debut?and he always dreamed of becoming a composer/producer when he was teenager.Why not?

This is not just one of my favourite BTS songs, but it's one of my favourite songs, period.
It's sooooo good. And it's criminally underrated.
Plus it holds a special, albeit super heart wrenching😢, memory for me.
I listened to this song a lot last year when I lost two relatives on the very same day. It's not something I'd forget anytime soon, but I listened a lot to this song for a long while to the point where it now feels somehow attached to those memories.

Honestly in mu opinion a lot of songs on BTS World tracklist are underrated. Dream Glow (the perfect mix between East and West ) and Brand New Day….Although Heartbeat is definitely sooo good .

In chronological order, Suga's Shadow comeback intro is coming up. I highly recommend watching a video only with lyrics or a color coded before the Music Video because the studio version song or the one on Spotify lasts more than 4 minutes and the Mv only lasts 3 minutes cut a large part of the verses please consider the request the lyrics in that song are a marvel worth appreciating every minute and the music video is a marvel representing the message it wants to give

the two harmonizing on 0:49 on the mv (16:35 on the reaction video) was actually taehyung and jungkook, it was not jin and jimin. jin was showed on the mv but it was both taehyung and jungkook who were singing ;)
Whenever Tae and jk harmonize it makes you wanna go back and listen again. they sound so amazing together! i wish we got to hear them harmonize more often together on bts songs

It’s Jungkook singing the higher register. V voice is more clear because it’s lower. But they are also harmonizing with each other that’s why it’s hard to tell who’s singing higher, but it’s Jungkook singing higher in that part
At 16:00 it was actually Taehyung and jungkook harmonizing together and I agree it sounded very pretty. Tae was singing in the higher register here

@ 16:35 its actually V & Jk, if u look at the lyrical video its actually them singing. V is singing the high register and Jk the lower one. When V speaks english he has accent, so try to listen closely and u will know his the one singing the high register.
My heart still clenches at the message of this song. Even at a parallel universe, BTS will still meet and chase their dreams together and of course ARMY will be cheering for them always. This song is one of those songs you listen to when you miss bangtan so much.

This is one of my favorite MVs and songs. It's the idea that even when they aren’t BTS, they're still meant to meet one way or the other, because it's their destiny.
I love how Jimin's high note and RM's English verse stand out in this song. "Heartbeat" is a favorite of mine - the visuals, vocals, and music are all captivating. It has a way of lifting my soul whenever I'm feeling down. It's incredible that such a beautiful song is part of a game. Their statement about destiny and finding each other in every universe almost brought tears to my eyes. This MV is truly a masterpiece. Don't forget to listen to "Dream Glow" next. Thank you!💜

Everytime I would watch or listen to this song it makes me feel nostalgia that I can't explain. Didn't really expect you guys to listen to it as this song is so underrated and unnoticed. It was good to see you guys listening to it twice as it's worth it. Love how you guys always try to pay attention to all the details.
I've actually played BTS: World and I loved the storylines in it. The game has two main parts, one where you are thrown back in time and start working at Big Hit. It's your job to find the members, sign them to Big Hit, and manage them through their careers. The other part is the really interesting one, to me, and the one that most of the scenes in the video are from. It's each of the members and what their lives might have been if they were never idols. Each of them has a major, life-altering problem that they have to overcome. Your job is to integrate yourself into each members life, help them solve their problem, and then, eventually, try to bring them together.
J-Hope is a veterinary student and has been tasked with putting down a perfectly healthy puppy as part of his training. He can't bring himself to do it, of course, but he's been told that he can not become a vet without it. Yoongi is a pianist at a fine arts college, but he has crippling stage fright and is unable to perform before a live audience. If he can't find a way to overcome it, then he, too, will be kicked out of his school. RM is a novelist and former computer hacker who becomes friends with a little girl in his neighborhood. She gets kidnapped by a serial killer and he gets drawn into the case, trying to help the police find her before she's killed. JK is the only one still in high school. He joins a school taekwondo club but he has an old injury that makes it difficult for him to do the moves and the school is threatening to disband the only club that he's really interested in. Jimin is part of a competitive dance crew and spends most of his time rehearsing and competing with them. His grandmother, whom he lives with, gets sick and he has to choose between working in her rice cake shop for her or his dancing. Each takes up too much time for him to do both. V's family are farmers but he's never been particularly interested in farming and knows very little about it. His family leaves the farm in his care for an extended period of time and he has to figure out how to keep the farm going as well as taking care of himself while he's at it. He's used to city life, not the country, so he's not used to living without city conveniences. Jin's family owns a hotel and Jin wants to take over the hotel. His father, however, is threatening to sell the family hotel unless Jin can work at a major hotel chain as an intern. If he quits or looses the job, then the family hotel will be sold and there is a hotel guest that he has to work with who is notorious for getting hotel staff fired. The game does a really good job of making the stories interesting and unpredictable. I hope you get a chance to play it, even if it's no longer being supported, just for the story lines. Oh, and it's a game where you have to collect different cards for the members with the cards each having different stats that allow you to complete missions to move the story forward. Sorry for the length of this, but I wanted to make sure that I explained it fully. The game is no longer supported, but I still recommend it, just for the stories.

Lol I’m surprised that they still have so much trouble picking up their voices… but usually it’s bc any high note they assume it’s jimin or Jin… and still they really haven’t seen a ton of live music stuff … so the tracks are a lot harder.
There’s almost no tracks that there are not blended vocal parts…. Typically jungkook doubled vocals in the same note or harmony with the other vocalists … most likely bc he’s got the mid tone range naturally… so his voice with Vs brings vs up slightly and with Jin and jimin … it brings their voices down to a lower tone bc v , Jin and jimin pretty much stick to singing in their strengths in all their songs…. Jin and jimin mainly high note registers and v mainly low… jungkooks all over the place high and low constantly especially since he does majority of the background vocals for BTS songs. Sometimes it’s just him harmonizing with himself lol but you don’t seem to be able to pick out his higher tones very well yet… he does most of the choruses by himself… actually the name that shows up credited for choruses the most with jungkook is actually jhope…. But Jhopes singing voice is a bit mid toned like JK so it makes sense… but sometimes singing that mid range hobi and jk sound pretty similar. For darker sounding songs… the rapline will double just a bit deeper note than the vocal line parts to give it that depth… even for V… like for the very beginning of Fake Love…. V starts and then jungkook sings right after before the chorus… but it’s actually v and hobi blended together and then jungkook and hobi blended together as well…. And ppl never pick up on that or even realize that’s what they’re hearing.
I think with so many different vocal tones and rap tones it can be hard to make the song sound cohesive especially bc usually the vocal line will have two sing a part the first time and then the next time it’s the other two singing that same part… so they want them to sound balanced on the track for parts like this. It’s super interesting understanding the production and audio engineering of BTS music is much more complex than it even sounds typically… I love it…. So many tricks and variables… ugh it’s so cool!!! It’s such a beautiful song !!! Very sound track sounding lol cinematic for sure !

This is one of my absolute favorite songs. I love how it shows them all in occupations as if in a universe where they never met....but ultimately destiny pulls them together. Because they were always meant to be together. 💜

Heartbeat is one of my favorite songs! The MV ties in to the game, although they stopped releasing new updates it's still available to play if anyone is interested!! Off topic but since you all seem to like DJ Swivel's work you should listen to Moon (Jin's solo song from MOTS 7) since he has writing credits on it. It may become another one of your favorites!
This is my favorite BTS song EVER!!!! And it's a game OST!!! hahahaha! They acted so well here. This is an alternate universe in the game where they don't meet and there is no BTS. Tae would have been a farmer like his family, Joon would be a detective, Hobi a vet, Jin works in a hotel, Yoongi as a pianist and more. But you see the other universe closing in, the reality is on the opposite side whre they are BTS. But even in the alternate universe they still meet each other. So even if they are apart, the universe will bring them back together :)

Oof one of my favorite songs. Another love letter to ARMY. Song basically centers around the theme "What if we didn't meet? What if we weren't BTS?" And I read somewhere that the guys thought of this and said they felt sick just thinking about it hence the first line "It leaves me feeling sea sick baby" 🥺They felt uneasy thinking how if they weren't BTS, they wouldn't have us ARMY
The scenes shown in the MV are actually clips from the BTS World game where you play as BTS Manager. There are also mini individual stories of the boys which I think are stories inspired by the thought if BTS weren't formed what would the boys be doing. Correct me if I'm wrong fellow ARMY 💜 The MV is really well stitched together especially YES the transitions! haha Cinematic quality 👌🏻

Have you guys reacted to Suga's "Snooze" with Woosung and pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto? It's so good and Suga plays the electric guitar! Plus you can check out Woosung he's from a band called the Rose and they're an indie rock band in Korea and play instruments instead of dancing. His voice is INSANE. They are such an underrated group and I was shocked to see Woosung collab with Suga, as an Army and a Black Rose (their fandom name).
