Mine got anubias rot. Probably cuz i left it in there while it was cycling. All 9 of them rotted away.

Is it okay in gravel?
Yeah. As long as the rhizome is above the substrate, it will be good.

The roots are fine in the substrate. The rhizome has to be above it or else it rots.
