- Nripendra Misra, an IAS officer of the 1967 batch, boasts a career spanning over 52 years with diverse roles. He served as the former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and currently chairs the committee overseeing the construction of the Grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This move is perceived as part of the Centre's strategy to closely monitor the temple's construction. He also held the position of Chairperson at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and was honoured with India's third-highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan, in 2021.

Very insightful. Modiji is too intelligent, too observant, so analysing, so sure, so futuristic and yet so forgiving of others' failures that to put him in a certain mould is a big mistake. People with these characteristics and ability to analyse and rapidly change can never be put in to a mould. There are many more surprises to come from Modiji, all of course in favour of India and the Indians. May God give him a long life.

Listening to first part gives a sense of joy and listening to second part makes you listen the first part again with a sense of pride and respect for the man who and who alone made this happen. Splendid, it made the viewer glued to the cell phone, for full interview,! It gave us lots of informations about the senior retired IAS officer, currently the , Chairman of the Ayodhya Temple, who gave us lots of informations about the temple design to last for a thousand years, lots of technical reputed firms, IIT, being involved in completing the new Ayodhya Temple, close to Sarayu Temple!!!!!!! The interviewer also posed good questions, leading, again to make the IAS officer , explaining, about the administrative acumen, of PM Modi, despite his entry to parliament only in 2014 for the first time?!! Also how PM dealt with IAS officers of various depts, in PM ' s Secretariat, particularly, to get his projects announced in parli, completed in time, all revealed the anxiety of P M to aim at quick devolopment of the country and its majority poor people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smita ji , thanks for bringing Mr Mishra and made him talk ! Generally he is shy to talk about himself despite his sterling career , not only with PM , but even before while in UP. Another lesser known titbit is that Mulayam brought him to Modi when he won elections and Kalyan Singh endorsed him. Many within BJP were not enthusiastic about his selection. But Modi had his way. With the help of Mulayam Modi even managed to pass a bill in both houses exempting his appointment by a special bill for the purpose. There must have been really divine intervention for him , when he had already retired , and political adversary of Modi brought him to Delhi by pulling him from retirement life. It was greatness of Modi that he accepted Mulayam’s recommendation by believing his ability to choose right person. Pranab da also endorsed him later on. This is not an ordinary event. But an extraordinary for a bureaucrat. He has proved his mentor Mulayam as well as Modi right. Now I am sure Mishra ji will be hailed who co-ordinated the construction of Ram Temple for generations.

We know of our our sthapatya shastra from thousands of years but not the minute details when millennia old temples were created! Of course, assuming that the archaeology and records will be of digital nature and the data still remains after hundreds of years!
