What's so amazing about the career of Vince Carter is he started off a high-flyer and then became one of the longest tenured players in the league's history. Typically those type of NBA players flame out once the athleticism goes. Vince didn't
Excellent point, well said.
he must have tried fuxxxx hard in the gym to be in fit throughout his whole career.

The best dunk of all-time
I seen alot of dunks but yes has to be best dunk of all time.
I really don't think that any dunk could be better than this
What makes it the best is that it was done during the course of game play.
My favorite for sure.

He didn't expect Carter to dunk over him so he prolly just stand there thinking he wont. Then he got posterized by a pair of big balls

This MUST be THE VERY BEST DUNK in the history of the basketball, done during an actual game!
Hole in Colorado felixz
@Augusto Sebastian Garcia âșâșâșâșâșâș Learn the rules dummy! In order to be an offensive foul, the defender MUST has his feet, BOTH OF THEM, FIRMLY POSITIONED on the ground, BEFORE the offensive player jumps towards him, or even just goes in that very position (his trajectory is directly towards the defender and they hit with one another). Only then it's offensive foul! IN ALL OTHER CASES it's the other way around!
And this one is as clear as a baby's tear!
@@Shteno this is an example of someone who has zero knowledge of the rules
Augusto Sebastian Garcia hi karen
@Augusto Sebastian Garcia no ref in the world will call an offensive on that
And if he knocked out KG too, that woulda been priceless.

Yo Kevin nearly caught that one lol
Thats a lawsuit coming
Man you killed me with that one.. I can't do somethg without imagine KG getting KO now. Love from France
Hey man, anything is possible đ
The fact even thought of jumping over him is just incredibleâŠ
He didnât know he was gonna jump over him. He said in a interview he didnât even know he completely jumped over the 7 footer. Somebody called his phone and told him that after the game đ
In a interview he said after the game is when he realized he dunked over him,he was celebrating cause he didn't thought the dunk would've make it,
Plot twist... That was the furthest thing from his mind. It just happened
Worse: dunking on him was an afterthought. He just jumped so high he literally didn't see the 7footer below him. He didn't even find out about the dunk until after the gameđ
It wasn't a thought, it was a natural impulsive reaction. Athletism at its finest. The king of slam dunks
Just another example of why he is the greatest dunker in history.
Just another example? Nah....
"Proof why he is the greatest dunker in history"
"Another example" This is the best Dunk of all history bro
I think this is one of those rare debates in sports that are easy to agree on. Vince is the GOAT when it comes to dunking
This is not mere 'another example', this dunk IS the standard of why he is the greatest dunker of all time.
i like how every basketball fan has their own team and their own opinions, but we all unanimously agree that vince carter is the best dunker of all time

@@Dog-uz9hr Weis not going to the nba had nothing to do with that, it was apparently his agent having a different agenda and "wrong" decisions being taken.
And regarding this dunk, of course Carter jumped high and it was instant excitment, but in the end it was just 2 points.
On top of that, he could have fouled Carter but didin't or done what defenders do nowadays which is let himself fall down and draw an offensive foul, instead he lowered his head and let it happened.

that dunk is so unbelievable i didn't notice it was France they are playing against till i read your comment and i watched it many times. the way he comes like he's in a slam dunk contest all you wrote must have prepared this
i think Payton was the most responsible for the play. playing really terrible iso ball... I mean whatever this game wasn't competitive at this point anyway, but yeah without him missing that one, we don't get this sequence.
Very true. Sometimes a handful of incompetency is needed to produce greatness. I could not believe Gary Payton poor ball handling. Had to replay the clip many times to make sure it was him.
I feel bad for Weis coz he was told by the team who drafted him (15th pick overall) to not show up the following season as they donât want him anymoreâŠpractically crushing his NBA dream.
And the team that drafted Frédéric Weiss...my New York Knicks...smh

We've all seen that dunk accomplished many times in dunk contests, usually over individuals under 6 feet tall. Fredric Weiss was 7 feet 2 inches tall, and this was done in Olympic competition! Needless to say, Vince was a tremendous athlete, and an incredible dunker!
@Flyin, most people may not know that Weiss had a contract to play with the Knicks after these Olympic Games, he stayed in France instead.
