IHHP - Maningrida 'Living Sugar Free'

Indigenous Hip Hop Projects was so proud to partner with GYS Maningrida and Menzies School of Health Research to work with Maningrida community NT to create this deadly Music Video titled 'Sugar Free'.
We worked with the talented young people and youth workers from Maningrida along with Uncle Victor Rostron (Traditional Sugar Bag Song), MC Mooks, KK Band, Danzal Baker (Fluro Sugar Man) and explored themes around the issue of high levels of sugar consumption. Sugar is highly addictive and has serious effects to your teeth, body and mind. Sugar Drinks and Fizzy Drinks are so addictive and when consumed at high quantities have devastating effects on our bodies. High levels of sugar in diet will lead to Kidney disease, Diabetes, tooth decay and obesity . Choose nice fresh cold water or milk for your number one drink of choice. Exercise and keep yourself fit and healthy.
