I hate to see people who don't have a clue about how negative wax buildup can be. I'm 31 years old and back in 1999 I went on a vacation to Trinidad. I was having a great time in the ocean before a small piece of a sea shell went in my ear and punctured my ear drum. I've had surgery done twice to patch the puncture hole but anytime there is a buildup of wax I always go to see an ENT(ear, nose, throat) specialist to have the wax sucked out. Shoving q tips or this device deep into the ear canal is very dangerous. Thanks for the review. Anyone out there DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Howard Grey, it’s obvious your work for this scam of a company. They don’t work for anyone, it’s a faulty design. What sickens me is all the elderly that won’t know how to get their money back or what to do!! Yes it is!! Don't buy this!! It takes forever to come. It doesn't work. And if you figure that out too late and want to return it, they make you send it back to LITHUANIA AND charge you 15% to restock. I have learned my lesson. No paying attention to CZcams ads for me.

As soon as I saw the way it works made me a little sceptic then I checked the website and there was no price before trying to purchase so I decided to check reviews.
Definitely glad I did. My son had a lot of problems. I would bring him to ENT but on a whim I would dip qtip in peroxide and I would squeeze that amount into affected ear 👂. He would hold it in for about a minute and then take a wash cloth and let the drain out. It helped with major plain. For him
I’m pretty sure this will be rubbish. I regularly have mine micro-suctioned by an audiologist. The wax is usually deep down by the ear drum and you should never be sticking anything that deeply into your ear. At best ineffectual, at worse quite dangerous
Wish I'd seen this sooner.
It wasn't expensive and I wasn't injured so I'm not upset, but it certainly dampened my afternoon to discover my qtip technique is more effective.
No wax on the tvidler, but I got a little on the qtip afterward.

Don't stick anything in your ear canal unless it's a doctor doing it with a specialized tool. If you want to clean out ear wax at home use some warm water, mix it with hydrogen peroxide, lay on your side for about10 to fifteen minutes, and let it work its magic. You can also use an Ear syringe if you have one. And for the love of god don't put q tips in your ear canal. You will only push ear wax further down the canal. So will this tvidler device. Remember it's okay to have some wax in your ear because It helps keep foreign bodies like bugs and other things out.
Totally agree. I go very deaf every couple of years (narrow ear canal apparently!) and I see a professional to clean it out using micro-suction. He would freak out at this product!

Well if there is, go to the doctor and they will be able to remove it safely. Ear wax isn't 100%. Some bugs still fine their way into the ear.

the commecials claim they get ear wax that qtips dont get. So I used a qtip first to see if it got wax the qtip missed
Because apparently ear wax can be lodged deeper into the canal than a cotton tip can reach

It doesn’t work no matter how much earwax you have. It just a new version as the smart swab that came out 4 years before the tvidler. Both are shit.

@@atomicswift5356 at this point I’d rather have that than what some individuals were saying. Allegedly they would overcharge people, charge multiple times, and some wouldn’t even receive their items. Here’s to hoping that’s not true. I’m not normally this impulsive. I was just desperate because I have a lot of build up and I can’t use cotton swabs because they give me really bad infections.

I heard you need to treat your ear for the first few days before using tvidler. They say that you need to ‘moisturise’ it as it won’t work with hardened ear wax.

Nah, just don’t buy Tvidler as it’s a proven scam. They’ll try to baffle you with bullshit about “wait 7 days until XYZ happens then use it” in order to make themselves seem intelligent when they’re just talking shit.

Another review says to use ear drops to soften the dry ear wax that’s been built up. After that should work. I’ll find out for myself

I own the product. As far as working, IT CAN. Now how to actually use it is the issue. First soften your ear wax. use some drops of peroxide (2 min) then give it a twirl. SLOWLY TWIRL then pull it out. If you have something you have something if not generally the wax left is GOOD WAX as you should have some to help with foreign bodies entering the ear canal. 👍🏽
you shouldn't stick q-tips in your ear hole. you can use them on the outer ear tho.

Just be careful using q-tips. The idea that it shoves earwax further into the ear canal is wrong. I know this because I clean my ears down to the eardrum with q-tips. Just be careful. Only way you can hurt yourself is by not paying attention and jamming it into your eardrum. Most I’ve done is lightly touch it or tapped it once or twice. Anyhow you just twist the q-tip around the ear to collect any and all earwax. Does not push it anywhere deeper, trust me

It’s most definitely a SCAM! I bought one, they charged me for five, and no matter how many times I tried to get a refund, they wouldn’t. I tried changing the order 5 minutes after it went through, they wouldn’t allow it. I tried sending it back after I got them, they made me pay for shipping and a restocking fee which basically cost the whole amount. They trick you into buying more, and then never give your money back. AND, the product doesn’t even work.

I am a McGyver when it comes to using tools to solve problems. So it looks like based on all the comments this is a scam.
The company who makes them decided that the con makes them enough money to continue. They paid for the manufacturing and the great commercial marketing.
They followed the saying " Find a need and fill it." Obviously a whole lot of people want to clean the wax out of their ears.
So they decided it was worth it to " find a need and pretend to fill it." They decided that getting enough people to give them money for it regardingess of whether it worked or not was a better choice than scrapping it because it doesnt work.
Why do you think pharmaceutical companies have their own paid testers?
By the time word gets around about the efficacy or after effects the money has already been made.
So now that we have the product lets put our McGuyver thinking caps on and figure out what we can use it for that actually works...

Maybe someone can find an actual useable use for it, remarket it as the thing it works for, then when Tvidler sues for copyright symbol infringement, you can show how it did not work as an ear cleaner, actually makes impacted wax worse so morally you have the high ground.
You put Qtips in your ear canal? Why?! The wax is not dirt you need to remove, it's there to clean and protect your ear from dirt. You only need to remove wax if there's a buildup that clogs your ear canal which will effect hearing, but that should be done by a professional.
Finally someone who gets it! Wax has a function! Just clean the outer ear!
Best comment yet! 👌ENTs, GPs, Family medicine doctors and pediatricians should teach patients and parents how to distinguish between a normal amount of earwax and an actual buildup. They should then advise the patient to make an appointment if there truly is a buildup. Ty!

It is a scam. When ordering they keep making additional offers. I didn’t add anything to the original order but it added 4 additional units and it didn’t ask to confirm the order. I sent a message immediately but by the time they returned the message they said it was sent already. When it arrived, I immediately sent a message to return the units I did not want and I haven’t heard back. It also didn’t work when I tried it. Stay away from this scam.

Didn't work for me. Here's why: You can't stick it deep enough into your ear canal to do anything without hurting yourself, so it removes absolutely nothing. Fair to say I'm more than a little disappointed with it

Don’t buy it doesn’t work I was studio enough to buy it. Went for the cheapest option as I wasn’t sure it would work. If you have have bad ear wax build up and the usual treatments of the counter at the pharmacy don’t work. Then go and see a specialist

@@atomicswift5356 You could have tried the qtip cleaning with only one ear to compare results with not using a qtip in the other. It's a scam anyway. Even after searching for scam reports and not finding any, I got an immediate fraud notification from my bank and they denied payment to them.

If you've already used a snow shovel to remove all the snow off the sidewalk in front of your house, what's the use of using the snow blower afterwards. You've already removed the snow. ROTFL! ROTFL!
The idea is to use the new device when you have a build-up of wax in your ear, not after you've already cleaned out your ears. If you use it then, of course you won't see any wax on the twidler device. LOL! It can't magically pull wax from thin air. There has to actually be enough wax in the ear for you to see that it works.
