    I’m Legend Level 104 and I was running around at night on a level 4 chase just killing everything I see whilst using max regen and toughness boosters. Now it’s started to get a little boring to me. Love your videos man much love👍🏼

      I've been doing sane thing, they were lazy with weapons and levels, I really feel like they dmg output doesn't matter bc it still takes same amount of hits, plus you get alot of the same weapons starting at 1, not enough diversity in weapons

      Regen plus toughness boosters = god mode especially with ng+ mask even on hard.

    I have been saying that since day one of game completion. The VNC mission is hands down the best imo. We only got to see a handful of the like 80-100 floors. MAKE IT A DUNGEON CRAWL. I also thought that making Frank a repeatable character if he was saved a good idea, like, he has all the spy gear basically so we could use that as players to find rare zombies, bandits, any kind of crazy stuff who knows. The game has SO MUCH potential if they expand on what they have already. There are so many buildings that have doors that don't open and other aspects like that. The world has so much explore-able space that isn't used.

    They should do a triple XP weak and fix the legend levels to make you feel OP.
    The only reason was grinding legend levels was actually because i wanted the awesome looking level 250 outfit and thats about it but i gave up because it was taking way too long.

      Start a new game and dont finish the Story than are you OP. In my lobby every enemy is lvl 2 and im max level + 250.
      I oneshot everything even with a 300 Dmg Weapon with no upgrades + hard mode the game is boring when your OP and I reached 250 in 17 hours with the Legend cap 🥱

      ​@@therealone9576 Nah, the devs are the ones who need to do better. Like making Legend levels rewarding and worth it. And simple solution is making the game balanced. Fallout new vegas is a good exemple, a level 50 courier is powerful and you can almost take down everything without any problems there's tons of high level enemies that come down on you hard and put a good fight.

      @@theninja2k14 I use strong weapons with tons of buffs and they still need multiple hits to kill them. I understand if is a volatile or a goon for example but multiple hits on a biter and virals? Its beyond stupid.

    Yeah its lacking a bit and my other gripe is the lack of converting your save to the next gen version. They made the game playable cross gen for multiplayer in the last update but still waiting for cross save to next gen. Real bummer

      That was a tough bullet to swallow. I had a good amount of time in the ps4 version. It was hard to restart when I got my ps5

    I think one of the issues people have with this game's legend level system is that the game as a whole doesn't have disaster relief packages like the first game, which is still able to be duplicated. The bonuses in the first game were way too high, especially for shotguns. Anyone that maxed their legend levels when it was first in the game remembers using a 32,000+ damage semi-shotgun that one shotted everything in Nightmare

      True, the bonuses don't have to be that high but at least give us something that does substantially more damage rather than almost no increase. It also would have been nice to include other things instead of just damage bonuses

      30000. It WAS too high. They nerfed the gun bonus obviously. None of the other bonuses were too high either so don’t know what you are talking about. Clearly you’ve never actually played nightmare+.

      @@erronblack308 Melee weapons did double damage as opposed to only 75% increase in the second game which may not sound like much, but it is. Also the fists did 375 times more damage in the first game as opposed to double damage in the second. I will admit the guns were a bit ridiculous with the numbers

    I am only lv 130, so I took some time off since there were no new events for the month until the chicken event. They should've expanded skill tree for new moves or added "ex" versions of moves like fighting games have. Also a skill where u can expand your inventory that you take with you the slots and such. As well as skills that deal way more element damage or add life steal/leach or everytime you hit or kill gain 25% back your stam8na or gain 50% melee speed swing/movement like running speed.

    I agree, the whole thing is way to repetitive. I’ve finished all the challenges pretty much so now I’m farming every night trying to level up that way, but it gets old fast. The VNC tower idea sounds great though.

    DL1’s legend lvls were WAAAAY more of a grind to progress through than DL2’s are, & I’m extremely grateful for that! It took me months of endlessly repeating the “Stuffed Turtle” & turning in “Disaster Relief Packages” to the quartermaster at night while on Nightmare difficulty in DL1 just to get halfway through the legend lvls!! (Who else hates the Stuffed Turtle in DL1 because of grinding it so much besides me?!?😅) I finally gave up the grind & duped bolter livers in the Following DLC to knock out the other half of the legend lvls. DL2’s legend lvls were still grindy & repetitive to get through, but I reached lvl 250 just yesterday & I didn’t even start grinding it out till about a week or so after Techland added legend lvls into the game. So even though it took some doing, it was still much, much better, & quicker to max it out. I’m VERY (O.C.D.) strategic when it comes to finding the best or most beneficial way, & place to grind stuff like this out. I tested MULTIPLE different places & methods for grinding legend lvls out that you tubers have been making videos of. I ran each place a minimum of 3 times, always on hard difficulty with a lvl 4 chase, & I narrowed it down to 2 places that I consistently earned the most XP from. When farming XP in co-op, the place that worked best for me is directly West of the “Fish Eye Canteen” on the overpass where the Nightrunner Hideout & Nightrunner Trial VIII challenge is located. I was averaging 30 to 40K per night. For whatever reason, volatile spawn rate decreases in co-op, but that place still has a decent spawn rate especially if you & the other players run back & forth in opposite directions of each other instead of staying together. The last place is my absolute favorite, & is where I earned most of my legend lvls at. This place is on the roof of the Metropolitan Art Gallery in the Muddy Grounds territory right next to the Elm Windmill. That roof has 3 different levels with a total of 12 vents that volatiles spawn from, & in solo the spawn rate up there gets INSANE!! I averaged 40 to 50K XP per night there. So even though you get more XP per kill in co-op, the spawn rate goes down & your sharing the kills of what enemies do spawn with other players. Needless to say I was gaining quite a bit more XP by farming lonely solo😢 Also I HIGHLY recommend using glitch weapons from the Bloody Ties DLC, & keep plenty Toughness, & Health regen boosters equipped. (Bonus Tip) If you have access to XP boosters you can raise your XP gains by 10 to 15K per night, & when I ran the Art Gallery roof solo with an XP booster active I was regularly getting over 60K XP per night & I NEVER once got below 55K XP in a night while an XP booster was active!!! Hopefully this helps at least 1 person with the legend lvl grind… If anyone has the patience to read through this freakin novel I wrote here anyway.🤣🤗✌🏼🕺🏻✌🏼

    I honestly am not happy with the 75% xp loss on death. It's harsh. Lost many levels of xp like this. It completely ruins the fun for me. I'm fine with xp loss on death to make xp gain more valuable and death more meaningful. I'm thinking more like 10% - 20%. Not flippin 75%. Love this game so much, but I just don't bother logging in again because of this . Hope the xp loss on death will be lowered. Thanks again for a good video bro, I also agree on the points you made.

    i think rougle like experience event in the vnc tower sounds amazing , at the start you have nothing , the further you go the better ur gear gets but its fully randomized .

    I'm disappointed with the legend levels, it feels like it rewards you for so little with how small the increases are for the boosts towards the damages for blunts and sharps, and the other upgradables, and how harsh the game disciplines you just for dying once. I know dying light 1, where if you die and have lots of xp, it will take lots, yea that's fine, but atleast in that game, the upgrades are worth it. In dying light 2, it just doesn't seem balanced at all, and needs to be fixed, either decrease how much it punishes for dying, or make the legend levels actually worth grinding to get those skill points by making the amount of damage it boosts actually good. Also need more things to do to get larger chunks of xp, not crazy, but enough so people don't feel like they need to cause volatile genocide at night or do multiple runs of new game plus

    If they were to add a quarantine DLC like in DL1 or a dungeon-like level with the VNC tower, I think it would be better if they used the other towers that are scattered around central loop or in old villedor since many of those towers were only used to scale up to the top to just activate the radio towers or open military crates and nothing else.
    It would be cool to have to go to each tower to completely get rid of the infection in each level (unless the architecture inside it is destroyed, then it would be easier to navigate inside rather than have it repeating) with each one having a boss at the end depending if you're entering from the top or the bottom of the tower.

    I'm honestly fine with there being a grind with the legend levels. I don't think the point of them is to hurry and get max level asap. The point is to keep having something to put the extra XP towards after you've maxed out all the vanilla parkour/combat skills. Even if the bonuses are tiny, it's fine because you still have something that the XP is going towards and it makes it feel much better to keep seeing those numbers. However, the actual bonuses are boring and I wish there was a bigger variety of stats that they affect. The fact that 9 out of 10 of the skills only do % damage increases is a bummer. They should've combined melee weapons into 1 skill, and had all the others go towards things like health regen, stamina regen, survivor sense range/duration, and a bunch of other things like that.

    You can only kill so many things and do side quests for legend xp before it becomes dull. Maybe a chance to buy legend levels can be added like the first glitch in dying light 1 and instant break from volatiles or have volatile hives where tons of xp can be made.

    Legend 97 here, after one month this is what I grinded, without using moded weapons, using art gallery vents method.
    I like that theres No glitching the levels on this one unlike DL1, cause, does anyone ever saw a legit legend farm guide on DL1? No, everyone was glitching. And at least You dont have to get 100K for Just one level.
    Also, what does faster ballance (ronin) does on DL2 Legend level? I see No difference and I'm at 60% of it.

    1 thing the first game had that this game doesn't have it an item to turn in for xp like the disaster relief packs and air drops. Those really helped for a time in the first game.

    I think the legend levels was a wasted opportunity to introduce new skills and mechanics. They could of introduced skills like DL1's camouflage ability, or the ability to throw your weapon like DL1, or maybe the ability to use a grappled opponent as a meat shield, a regular jump kick, a sweep kick, etc. Instead, we got generic damage boosts that don't really seem to do much, and over-powered weapons that make gold encounters kind of pointless.
    I do like the idea of adding rogue-like dungeons, maybe not just the VNC tower, but X-13 or maybe some of the other buildings. We only explored a few levels of the observatory, who's to say the events of the endgame didn't open up some more.
    To help decrease the grind, maybe the chapter bounties and the fights from Bloody Ties could contribute Legend experience as well.

      Those are all good ideas. We do have the camouflage in this game now, but it is sadly locked behind the dlc and being a craft able blueprint and only lasting for a max of 60 seconds where you cannot even attack enemies either. It is far less useful than the ability in the first game

      @@RespawnedGent I do have the dlc and the "grease" blue print, I just don't really use it. Unlike the first game, there just isn't much of a use for it, the nights are much less dangerous, searches are a bit quicker, and biters don't really seem to crowd you as much. I was thinking more of an ability like in the first game, where you could smear yourself with a biter's guts. The first game had both that ability and the potion from the witch, I don't see why DL2 can't.
      Hopefully Techland will hear about the rogue-like dungeon idea and implement it, there isn't much to do after the story, and like you said, repeating the story over and over gets old quick.

    Just been killing big monsters at night around Cilian’s house on hard level. Legend level 103 now but now bored doing that. Losing so much legend points when you die is so annoying!

    I’m a legend 33 and I have the motivation to play this but that’s because I thought that the buffs were gonna make a difference, knowing that the buffs barely make a difference is kind of a bummer tbh and killed a little of my motivation

    Im level 8 and I would totally agree getting to 9 lvl 1 takes forever after completing the game and all the quests getting parkour XP is a pain bc there's no quest that gives a huge amount of parkour so your forced to join multiplayer and that's an issue, for combat it's fine give us a dungeon to farm XP maybe at night we get 10x the score day 4.5x the score otherwise the XP system is pretty trash

      Start a new play through. You will lvl up so much faster completing quests all over again and unlocking fast travel and save spots. Way faster

    Imho Techland could potentially do something similar to Forza Horizon's weekly playlist (and I'm saying this knowing that the formula in FH is not perfect and all that). In other words adding some simple tasks to complete during the week and granting reasonable (imho reasonable) rewards. Some of these could be as trivial as for example:
    -kill X amount of Y type of zombie (perhaps with some weapon restrictions - like grenades or mines or whatever)
    -clear X amount of dark zones in a given area
    -travel an aggregate distance (may be on foot, or paragliding, or grappling yourself) of this or that.
    That being said - I am aware that a lot of this challenges would overlap with Harper's or Xiu's tasks, but personally I wouldn't mind and ofcourse Techland could take as much creative freedom as possible while designing the core of such system and suprise us with something cool.
    Possible rewards for these challenges could be (just my idea)
    - box of resources (the more hard to come by the better) - could be feathers, poppies, mutation samples etc.
    - flat xp (but something noticeable, that would really contribute to the constant xp grind)
    - booster pack (as the name suggest, but personally I would also add an option either to claim for free or to be obtained as a quest reward - a single xp booster per week). Heck this could even appear as a blueprint to be purchased or aquaired otherwise. With all te duping going on, making it a one time thing seems just silly to me.

    Im legend level 36 legend levels are cool for the outfits and the chest cause the weapons you can get from there but it gets boring pretty fast

    I don't know what you are talking about being unstoppable in DL1. It's the main issue I had with the game. Zombies scaled to your legend level which made you overall weaker. You'd expect to be a god at the end, but no... it feels like being level 1 all over again.

      When I did a playthrough at max legend levels in DL1 I was using fists only and could 3 shot volatiles so I just punched everything in the face

      Playing DL1 at max level felt like I was superman. You really do notice a big difference in power there in my opinion.

    They should up the 20k cap to 50k because I only level up once sometimes twice in a night and that takes so long and it gets repetitive so fast I agree tho they need to make something like the Harran prison in my opinion but I really to like the idea of the vnc tower being like a dungeon with certain floors to keep fighting in

    I reached lvl 250 about 2 weeks ago and the only benefit is the cool outfit you get but if u ain't interested in outfits then best not too grind as it's hell. I grinded hours on hours on hours til my arms were aching and I will never grind this hard again

    Honestly I'm fine with the way it is right now, id like the damage boosts to be higher in the future if we can respec the skills but I just don't want to be extremely overpowered when the second DLC comes out.

    As it curently stands legend levels are a great addition to the game but definitely can be improved apon. One of my favorite pass time in DL1 was running around feeling like one puch man MMA fighting everything i saw.

    they should certainly use these big buildings in dl2 as much, make so-called "quarantine zones", there is potential to make some kind of creepy abandoned buildings and somehow more creatively to actually see that people lived there, that there was once life in those buildings. With of course some kind of mission and meaning which is of course nicely rewarded and even challenging.. dl1 delivered very well with that atmosphere.. I hope they can do it in dl2 there is so much space and potential

    I think that when u reach level 50 and above, the damage output on the weapons u get in the chests should be more than that they are in the beginning (bronze chest) apparently they are not 😣 which make me feel that u got nothing to look forward to. If u know what i mean 😇

      And if you make a loud noise in Dl1 you get chased by the runners so what starts off a a little interaction soon kicks off with loads of zombies coming after you we don't get that in dying light 2 they really missed some classic gameplay in DL 2 .I COMPLETED IT THREE TIMES NOW AND I'M BORED OF IT LOL gone back to DL1

    I think it's fine without a legend difficulty it wouldn't make sense to be too op. Plus u get weapons from it. I agree vnc dungeons would be sick. Co op or pvp arenas too. Anything for co-op endgame

    I'm legend level 36 and my legend skills aren't unlocked. , (I'm max combat and parkour/health/stam)
    I unlock legend chests and legend levels and legend skins, but it won't unlock legend skills? I've tried re rolling my save back and new saves. But still can't put legend points on legend perks, they are locked.

    I was lvl 100 after 4 days of that update and got bored ,then came back to play with random, got killed by shitty gravity and lost 75% of my lvl (it happened so many times that i realized theres no point of playing casually before reaching lvl 250)

    They should also uncap the night xp. I’m earning upwards of 30k xp every night and I see no reason why I shouldn’t be able to receive that extra 10k xp.

    Improvements! Or just simply make the level up rate different. If it’s hours of grind and in the long run it’s barely any difference then there’s no actual point. I stopped grinding once I passed level 100. Unless there’s something coming in the next updates that we don’t know about.

    I think they should put legend level xp the same amount as the regular xp you get in missions so it’s easier to get lvl 200 but still a challenge. I really dislike how they made it less then a thousand legend xp for each mission compared to regular combat or parkour

    I’ll say that being level 250 , as you say like in dying light 1 , you feel overpowered , and in dying light 2 this is barely noticeable , as I’m agreeing with the way that you still have a challenge killing volatiles , but I do feel they should fix the legend levels in a way that matches dying light 1 , being able to kill zombies with your bare hands felt good , but on dying light 2 we have to use a charge attack and the drop kick to cause major damage to anything . I wanna get into boxing matches with renegades , zombies and other enemies and not fear that I’ll die quickly because I want to have fun and box zombies around the head

    I stopped levelled just after 100, just so boring and doesn't feel worthwhile. I really hope they can improve them with community feedback and give us more fun ways to level up.

    I have many issues with the current state of Legend Levels in DL2:
    - Dying loses xp even on Easy and Normal difficulties, where it should only be an occurence on Hard. Like in DL1, you lost all Legend progression if you died on Nightmare, or 1/4 of it if you died on Hard, but Normal and Story Mode had no penatlies for death.
    - I agree with the grind. It's too long, and there's no surefire way of getting tons of xp even if you farm or grind for it (it doesn't help that there's a 20k xp cap for night bonuses). In DL1 the grind was also pretty bad, but at least we had Quarantine Zones being repeatable, offering the opportunity to farm them for the DROPs that gave tons of XP. There's nothing like that in DL2.
    - There are some questionable skills in the tree that makes me think that Techland were just trying to meet a quota. Firstly, the fall recovery Legend skill. This one only affects falls that are non lethal and when the player doesn't use an amortizer or active landing. That is VERY specific, and is almost useless. As for the other skills, it feels like splitting up the melee bonuses into 4 (2 handed sharp, 2 handed blunt, 1 handed sharp, 1 handed blunt) added artificial bloat in order to fill out the Legend tree. In DL1 it was simply split into two (1 handed, 2 handed).
    - Some skill descriptions are unclear. Specifically the brawler skill (Increased damage for all knuckledusters, kicks and punches). Does that skill also improve parkour attacks? Because kicks and punches count as parkour attacks. What kind of kicks? Just the regular ones? Or dropkicks as well? What about kicking out from a rope / glider / grappling hook swing? It's all too vague.
    Having said all of this, there is one major point of praise DL2 deserves for the Legend tree, and that is the bronze / silver / gold tier chests that the player unlocks with every level they attain. These are great individual rewards considering how they're very powerful weapons and definitely the best thing about Legend in this game.

    I dont get the extra damage, on dl1 the damage of the weapons increase but on dl2 I keep upgrading and the stats dont change, like my best weapon (1 hand slash) keeps the 680 damage
    It made me guess if they really do more damage?

      The stats never changed with the percentages even before legend levels. I had a whole video about that as well. Feels strange that you have these percent increases but don't see anything noticeable with them for the most part

      there was not a way to finding this out cause there isnt a option to show the exact damage you do, so I was guessing

    Repeatable tower with multiple floors……….sooooo……….Hellraid?
    I have yet to actually start getting legend level so I’m certainly not sure if the bonuses are too low, but I am sure that a much bigger factor is that a lot of people are in new game plus which makes all enemies level 9 and gives them much more health than usual. So maybe the bonuses are good for first playthrough but not scaled well for the ridiculous sponges on ng+.
    Also, nightmare+ alpha volatiles in the first game do not make you feel unstoppable.

      Enemies should scale when finishing the game anyway even without NG+. Regardless of that, you won't see any difference if the enemies aren't scaled since they are all basically one-shot with level 9 gear on lower leveled enemies and that is without legend levels.

    Legend levels are meant for coop, helping other players get through story and side quests... But yeah, we need quarantine zones or the like, i guess we sort of do with the chapter trials but...

      I have noticed that when farming volatiles at least, coop is worse because you only get the XP for the ones you kill not what anyone else does

      ​@@RespawnedGentYeah I figured at work they went easy on us at DL1 being able to keep the gadgets from story in new game plus but I THINK from what I remember you said we had to start over on the upgrades? I forget did you say we keep the gadgets as well or no we gotta start over again? It would make sense if we did get them all over again sense we cannot keep the upgrades anyways...it would make new game plus too easy so I suppose that's why they decided not to go easy on this time and not make new game plus like the first dying light.

      Makes sense they would do that to make the new game plus more challenging than what they did in the first dying light when you were able to keep the grappling hook in new game plus and they decided in dying light 2 for new game plus to just take them away and make us start over 😨😢

      The nightrunner tools do not carry over to ng+... But military tech does, so you can upgrade to max immediately when you re-aquire them.

    Love the game, but after getting the two handed one hit hammer when the game released. Legend levels don’t mean anything. I am very sad to hear we can’t one punch a zombie, loved running around DL1 throwing haymakers 😂

    i just started legend im only 32 but game feels much more boring, before i started new game plus game was a blast now even on normal difficulty im struggling to kill tyrants and volatiles easy even with maxed out weapons even virals take 2 to 3 hits somtimes if i swap to hard i bet it gets twice as hard and far more boring. overall i think dying light 2 is a great game, but honestly its dissapointing to the first game, what i hate about dying light 2 is pvp even today its disgusting and now with them being more taking its more frustrating i'd give the game on 8/10 no higher or lower because it has plenty to offer, first game was a 10/10 i never found any flaws

    I used a modded weapon to try and take down a volatile and barely did any damage to them with max legend level damage increase, it makes the legend level in this game pointless

      Volatiles are different since they have a hit max instead of health. So it will always take a certain amount of hits to kill them which is unfortunate and I wish techland would change it

    I agree that there needs to be more content to level up legend levels, but there seems to be something a lot of people are forgetting, the game has been out FOR ONLY ONE YEAR. Legend levels has only been out for 2 months. Why race to level 250 for the outfit then quit because you're burned out? I say take your time to enjoy the game, if you're bored then play something else, then come back later. Give Techland time to release content. OK that's my rant, if you read all of this then I thank you 👍

      You are not wrong, the main issue for me is that there has been a lot of content that we were promised that just never happened. Because of this we don't have any good endgame content to make the grind enjoyable.

    Story needs to be extended ,after you beat the game it then becomes boring . Ex . Missing GRE scientists , More about Mia ETC . Make it so every time you start a new game its gives you more Story the it would feel like your accomplishing something . And gives a reason to play the game again .

    I can barely tell any difference in dmg and I'm at 100, the diversity in weapons is disappointing in my opinion, your stuck getting same weapons over and over and if there is one you like you have to hope stats don't suck, they lied when they said 500 plus hrs, I got nothing to do and I feel like they threw legend levels in to pacify ppl it needs better weapon drops, other tasks to do than kill volitales, I've killed so many I don't think they could make this game scary if they tried at this point but I'm still hoping for a game changing dlc like the following

    yes it becomes boring. Adding a triple xp weekend could be a quick fix. The one thing that disappoints me the most about dying light 2 is that a lot of the game looks the same and some of it literally is the same buildings copy and pasted. There are very few memorable locations. GRE labs are all the same. The GRE labs were a missed opportunity to add more interesting surprises.

    When I saw it, it was immediately clear that Legend perks are useless.
    I'm afraid Dying Light 2 won't offer anything in 2023.
    What is now known, Dead Island 2 will also disappoint or become boring rather quickly.

    The landing recovery skill isn't even described correctly, it says "faster recovery after landing safely" but what it actually does is play the hard landing animation faster, so you get up faster after NOT rolling (and taking damage.) Literally the opposite of a safe landing. That would be fine if that wasn't the only non-damage related skill, everything simply scaling damage up slightly is the most boring post-game content imaginable.

    Im actually ok with the balancing of the game. The issue for me in part 1 was that players were way too overpowered. To the point where players were chasing the night hunter in "Be the zombie" mode. Camouflage was op, guns were op, tyrants were a non threat, and players were just going out at night destroying the map after maxing out legend levels. I think they need to add to more untouched areas like the lost lands, those towers around the chemical areas, the sky scrapers in general, and the basketball court with the soccer ball easter egg has a quarantine zone entrance. The 3rd area of the map is non-existent too.

    Well just like mastery levels in elder scrolls legend levels in dying light two they really serve no purpose.. it's just an extra piece of content to keep the game alive.. all it's going to do is just a boost up your stats just like how I'm sure you can play on harder difficulties New game Plus content and you wouldn't struggle if you were under legend level 100.. example think about it when people show videos about what you get from hidden legend 250 it's merely cosmetic outfits etc.... It would make sense to be concerned about legend levels if it turned out that this game will they live service game dying light the franchise is not a live service franchise it is a single player franchise with a somewhat okay co op... Simply put just enjoy the game like don't make a video like it's a video about destiny our outriders and you're trying to ask the company to make better content😂 if I were you just make content about a video game where the video game actually has a long-term future not a short-term
