  • Standard G cam was worn worn out and I suspected thats where the noise on the head was coming from, so ive decided to replace the stock cam with an upgraded 276 degree cam .

Im just lost in what that noise could be it sounds like metal on metal.. maybe should have taken off that valve bucket on that lobe to see if the spring is ok.. its gotta be on that valve because that lobe looks like it was in a fight there bru.

Sounds like lifters....u should of check it before putting in the cam....taking it out cleaning it lay an let it lay in oil again

Why did u clean the cam w/degreaser and remove any oil that was on there??? Then no cam lube or oil when installing seal or the cam itself!!! No wonder it’s making a noise! U gotta lube that sob!! Not hating, but it is required. 👍 lube it up

I've got a CTI but still running with old K jet system, as it's still working fine, so keeping it for now. I have just fitted my 276 degree Estas cam I bought 2nd hand from a guy online that said "it comes out of a 8V motor." it looks like the lobes are too high & hitting the head, just by the edges of where the buckets sits. I dont know if i should remove & dremel away where its touching...? Sounds like its what needs to be done...anyone experienced this same thing? Im Too scared to hit the start button as is!
