I was a season ticket holder as a young boy when Brian came to Rangers, everytime he got the ball the crowd stood up with excitement! I never experienced anything quite like that before or again.
@@abelfernandes6862 Are you unwell?

So true.
In the era when there were real dribblers; I remember him terrorising German defenders in Euro 92 (Jürgen Kohler et al).
What a terror 🤨🤨
Brian was like a glitch whenever he touched the ball. Every time when it felt like defenders got him covered he always got away with the ball still in perfect control. He was super deceptive and used angles perfectly with superb timing.
The best footballer I’ve seen play for Rangers, an absolute joy to watch
Check his individual awards on wiki he's actually really underated

B. Laudrup's chip goal from that nearly impossible acute angle for Rangers is one of the greatest goals i have ever seen... Brian's image and standing suffers a bit from the fact that Michael was just so good a footballer and that his best years were spent in Scotland... but he was a great in his own right and part of that fairy tale win for Denmark at Euro '92... great video as always
Better careers don't automatically = better players
The goal against Croatia are better in so many ways.
It was against Croatia's all star super team, Denmark was behind with one and only few minutes left.
Then Brian does that?
How many times did Brian saved Denmark from a bad result?
Brian was best, when he was needed.
One of the best Scandinavian footballers of all time.
I agree!!!
Apart from his brother, who else was/is at this level?
Maybe not at this level, but for me the best scandinavian players in the modern era apart from the Laudrups is Henrik Larsson, Preben Elkjær, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Tomas Brolin, Jonas Thern, Peter Schmeichel and Jari Litmanen :) Not Close after that i will put players like Henrik Ljungberg, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Riise, Hyypie, Torbjörn Nilsson, Gravesen, Kenneth Andersson, Joachim Björklund, Martin Dahlin, Christian Eriksen etc
@@matigolvidz6800 Agger? Helveg? Flo?

What a player, huge talented, amazing close control, dribling and balance.
I spent hours trying to cut these clips from B Laudrup videos. Glad people like yourself are re-using them. He needs to be remembered.
Fantastic clips and work man🙏 Some of the clips are from other sourches though, like Uefa, sp1873, Fifa, SPFL, birch77, R9godmagic, TOXOTHS ETC😊 But yes, Brian really deserves more credit around the world
...for which I thank you @billyblackburn87 It is so tricky to find footage of Brian, he was my favorite player other than Iniesta and Ronaldinho but the last two played in the 'CZcams' age
Good job to the both of you💪😃

Underrated player. Very talented family
I think he was one the best players in the whole world...he was underestimated (Like the great Bergkamp)...he deserves Ballon d'Or for his talent and style of play. A true artist.
ilias ilias i loved him.
Great skills. Fast dribler.
Too bad he had a bad career considering his talent.
Also had to deal with his brother being the best ever in Denmark. Difficult, but he was great.
I think his move to Milan was his big mistake, Milan usually plyas defensive football meanwhile Brian, the great Brian, was dedicated to offensive and attacking football.
To me he was the best ,better than Michael who plays for teams that worship attacking football.
Thank you Brian for all the pleasure you gave to football fan.
ilias ilias I disagree that he was better than Michael though😀
I can understand,...I was 14-16 when I discovered the Laudrup nice family...to me Brian was the best in the world till the coming of ROMARIO .
ilias ilias Cool. Go see Michael Laudrup compilations on youtube. To me he has the best vision, technique, balance and passes ever in the world.
Only messi and maradona equals him technically imo.
Matigol please a video showcasing both of Laudrup brothers playing together!
I can't remember if there were any other brothers this talented....
Raí and Sócrates were very talented too
Wauw what a video. Loved the old clips from Uerdingen and Fiorentina. If Michael was the king of Denmark, Brian would be the prince
If you were to build a "perfect winger" in a laboratory you would create Brian Laudrup.
Pretty much yes.
Ryan Giggs has joined the chat
@@ehwassupdoc7901 Brian is better than Giggs
@@brianlaudrupchannel no I don’t agree with that and you said perfect perfect doesn’t necessarily mean the best. Perfect means all round because Brian laudrup wasn’t a proper winger he was a jack of all trades and a master of none in positions.
@@ehwassupdoc7901 he was a proper winger for Fiorentina and his great performances for Fiorentina when they were near the top after 20 matches combined with the Denmark win got him 6th in the balon d'or in 92 where he played right winger, obviously after a manager change they were relegated in 93 lol

80s Denmark was incredible. The Laudrup brothers were a last minute package arrival who were still playing in the declining 90s.
@@doncarloancelotti2256 90s was by far denmaks most successful period. Mostly because of Brian Laudrup
@@brianlaudrupchannel Would not say that.
Look at the 80's teams scores, usually 3-5 over, no matter the opponent.
That team was the dream, all times star team. Also called The Scandinavian Brazils.
Incredible little Denmark came up with that.
@@Tbonyandsteak the fact is the 90s was there most successful period. They won 2 International tournaments and had there best ever world Cup result. 80s team were flops with great players

High scores, intertaining matches.
What Holland was for football in the 70th, Denmark was in the 80th. First to enter end games. It was unlucky they did not achieved more and un experienced with endgames.
Would not call 1984 and 1986 for bad result.
They were the best EVER.
dont thing the 90th team would had come this far at all, if there werent that 80's team
Gazza and laudrup in the same team that must have been a hell of a time to be a rangers fan
I think someone should research his skills and make a tutorial out of it.
The ways he set up defenders by throwing them off balance were brilliant.
That stuff can't be coached. It's the natural outcome of playing street football as a kid.
When football was more skills than tactics.
No tattoos, no bad boy attitude, no diving. If Neymar is a star then what is Brian Laudrup?
Hakan Izci a legend
Very nice comparison!!
Then B.Laudrup is a GALAXY.
Come on, Neymar is much better even if he’s a diva, Laudrup was nice, his brother Michael was much better but also a diva.

brian is speed and michael is technique, the great brothers in football history
Brian had speed and technique
Brian never fulfilled his talent to the max. The brothers were two different type of players. But both with total control of the ball, with both feet. They both deserve more recognition than they got.
@@kmarkdR1 both of them lacked ambition, especially Brian.
Iam an ajax supporter in 1997/98 we had Micheal and the following year Brian I would have love to see him together for 1 season amazing players
Too bad that never happened! I was really, really hoping for it, as an Ajax supporter myself!
Brian Laudrup was the best dribbler of his generation, Michael had the best vision of all time.
Not many dribblers of the 90s that were better. Overmars? Giggs?
I remember watching Brian play for the national team when I was kid. He played good in EVERY game. Bigger talent then his brother. When he played the whole team played good. Salut Brian.
This is actually true. Defo bigger talent than Michael. But talent can only get you so far. His mentality caused him to have a respectable but not great club career.
That is true. Michael had an amazing career.
Well said. Brian had a combo of strength, superb pace (especially WITH the ball - SO QUICK ON THE DRIBBLE!), technique, smart passing, finishing ability and vision - name me ONE player these days, other than MESSI, that combines these attributes ...? Save your effort - there isn't one.
Michael was the best.
@@juliusforward906he wass good of dribbling not of speed
Imagine being this good at football. Just imagine it.
Brian is 5 years younger than Michael but what i like about the Laudrup brothers is that technically they were like twins
What a great player, his brother was a genius too tho
Thnx for this amazing video man Next Dunga or Guiseppe Bergomi please
Golazos.... Tremendo jugador ☝🏽👌🏾
Uno de los mejores jugadores en el mundo, el genio danés, junto a su hermano Michael.
Huge talent. It's a funny one where he really didn't flourish in Europe's big leagues but thrived playing with the big fish in smaller ponds.
I remember him and his brother playing together in a match against Scotland in the mid 90s. It was carnage.
People say that but the reality is that he played really great in the bundesliga before his injury, and looked great in seria before the team as a whole fell apart, had a great season in Holland, and looked good for Chelsea before he fell out with them. But he wasn't in a big league for a long period.
Brian got a bit mentally scarred from his time in Fiorentina. The pressure was a bit too much for him, culminating in him being smuggled out of the stadium after the match that saw Fiorentina relegated to avoid the anger of the fans. That's why he wanted to go to Scotland after a short loan spell at AC Milan and enjoy himself a bit without the same amount of pressure.
Walter Smith pulled off a masterstroke in signing Brian . He promised Brian that he would have a free role in order to showcase his talents . Taking into account the scottish weather which reminded Brian of Denmark and the fact that Brian was unhappy in Italy , it was just what the doctor ordered as far as he was concerned . The great Rangers team always had great camaradarie and great characters in the dressing room and Brian aspired to that !
Seen many but Laudrup is Laudrup . He gets me high never seen anyone as impact full as him on pitch if anyone says he is the best of all time I would probably agree he is that good 😌 . If Laudrup comes second than none is first ☺️
Parece que flotara cuando traslada el balon, mi crack favorito de todas las epocas
One of the best dribblers in football history
billyblackburn87 I love his brother and consider him one of the best ever. For dribling alone Brian was even better.
Nice video once again! 00:25 what a technique 😍
Brian was world class, Michael was out of this world. How lucky can one small country be?
BTW their dad was masterclass.
@@egelund1976 It's a rare case that all members of the family happen to be great players. Look at Zidane's sons, or Rivaldo's son Rivaldinho or Cruijff's son Jordi, none of their sons are great.
I watched Brian when I was a boy totally underated .would have loved to see he come to man utd
Imagine Schmeichel and the Laudrup brothers playing for United in the 90's
This is a SUPERB vid - Kudos. Brian was hugely underrated, partly his own fault because he lacked true grit and ambition; But on a pure TALENT level, he is near the top of top-wingers of all time - honestly.
Brian had a combo of strength, superb pace (especially WITH the ball - Such a fast dribbler), technique with BOTH feet, smart passing, finishing ability and vision - name me ONE player these days, other than MESSI, that combines these attributes ...? Save your effort - there isn't one.
Better than:
Neymar (Brian was faster and stronger)
Mbappe (Brian was a better dribbler, more technical and better vision)
Giggs (Brian was technically better and more of a goal-threat)
Robben (Brian was two-footed - Robben had NO right foot - and Brian was a far better passer, with better vision)
> :-P
1 flaw in his game was similar to Michael in that he didn't go for goal often enough
I would like to hear more of him
He seems on kaka's level in terms of dribbling, no where near as consistent as robben even tho hes completely left footed. Can't even mention messi, not even on the same planet. I wouldn't say he was better than Roberto baggio either.
He was never better than his brother though but seeing them both play together was a sight to behold they even beat Brazil
Brian was faster than Neymar ???? What a joke , yah Brian was great footballer but not faster than Neymar
Thats how you make a highlight video, great stuff
I don't know what held him back he could have been better than his brother him and his brother are the most underrated football players of all time just because they are from a small football country
His mentality held him back. He was a quiter.
Many people say “if you play in the best teams you are better” that’s bullshit! Who cares where a soccer player plays? I don’t, because you can play in the worse team in some league and you can be the best o of the freaking league... but the best teams give you a name... the world know who are you because you play in the top o f the soccer... Brian was better than others soccer players and he doesn’t play in the top teams, maybe Ajax and Bayern were the top teams where he played. Great soccer player, I like it, I searched this video because I watched the Denmark’s movie when they were champions👌🏻💪🏻
Bayern and ajax wasnt the top team
Scottish Cup final 1996 is known as the Laudrup final -says it all. The best i've ever seen in Rangers jersey.
Terrific!
i used to choose Rangers in fifa96 because of this guy :)
This player before my time but I look up to him and aspire to play like home because he is a brilliant player
I would love to know his total assists. He scored 100 goals in 411 games for club and he's always said he never like scoring the goals but setting up the goals. He must have had at least 150 assists for clubs
He remains my favourite player
El genio danés verlo jugar era un verdadero espectáculo
Legend!
Thanks for video keep going 🤠 greeting from Morocco
Brian was a great player while Michael is one of the GOAT.
Brian, Michael, and Peter Moller 1998 World Cup. Denmark was one of the teams of the world cup that the Brazilians were admittedly very wary of...then there was Norway. 1998 World cup is to date the best World Cup i've witness! And I think 1994 second it, but many will point to the 74 world cup as the best. Michael Laudrup played with both feet. In my opinion, he played like Zidane: a joy to watch!
Its against the law to mention Peter moller in the same sentence as the greats. Please.
@@egelund1976 Sorry Lars! It should be noted, however, that he not being a legend among the Danes doesn't take away from the fact that he could play. I was impressed with him in that game against Brazil. In fact, if my memory serves me right, he was equally effective against Nigeria. He silky on the ball to me.
Brian was THE main reason Denmark won the Euro 1992!
how old are you mate?

I’m 23, this is my second account
The good thing with Brian Laudrup was that you could relax when he got the ball. Either defender made free kick on him or he just dribled around. So rarely he lost the ball and made the opposite make counter attack. Thats was the case in 1992 EM
10:00-10:18 Laudrup-Maldini he,he
Muy similar a su hermano Michael, pero con más llegada al gol.
Did you know Laudrup when at Chelsea never lost a single game. In all competitions he played 11 games for Chelsea won 7 and drew 4. Should have stayed longer.
He was Chelseas best player when he was there but he left and that was his own decision. I uploaded a load of Brian at Chelsea videos. Check them out

Laughable.
I wish Brian had played in Ajax or a big club in Spain his whole career. It would have suited his abilities better. If he did he would be remembered better than he is like his brother, who also is slightly underappreciated .
It's a shame he couldn't play another season at Ajax he was playing well
Because no one realises how big Glasgow Rangers are once they go, trust me it would feel just as good if not better being hailed a rangers legend than another club legend. He rejected a move to Barcelona to stay at rangers, it says it all really, rangers are a special club with a huge fan base and also reached champions league semi finals back then, they had a really good side, putting out Leeds who were English champions and other great teams. If you go look at Brian laudrups Instagram you’ll see the love he has for my football club. Trust me you won’t get much more loyal and loving fans than rangers ones and that means more to players than being more recognised. WATP🇬🇧

Back then where the number 10 player does everything on the pitch, dribbling assisting and scoring amazing solo goals with ease, the level of football is getting lower and lower.
