A "playmaker" who scored 307 goals, 250 of them in serie a, the second best score in its history, thousands of assists, and played 785 games in total at high levels throughout all the 25 years of career with the same team, as he still made the difference when he was 39 years old. Chapeau Capitano! Total football genius

He will always be underrated because he played for Roma. Because he won so little. As a Roma fan, it hurts me a lot. I know him perfectly well because I watched every game, followed every pass and every goal. He won something that cannot be won. He won the immortal love of his fans.

He would have won so many titles if he did go elsewhere...but no he decided to stay, not many players would do that, especially when the northen trio (milan inter juve) is at full force
If roma did have the same amount of talent and financial power, then roma would win more than just one scudetto with totti as their captain and #10
Batistuta said when he was at fiorentina "winning a scudetto with fiorentina is like winning 10 of those with milan or juve"
That's what totti should have felt in 2001
Moreover how many times roma fell short by finishing 2nd ?

@@elfriedkiassi8769 i dont think that he would have won as much titles as at Rome if he had left..
It's difficult to win at Rome, even average players like Rabbiot win titles at juve without doing anything...
However, I think that people will talk about totti for 50 years more than they talk about most juve, real Madrid players because Roma fans will always bring his name since he's the best player at Roma ever..

i'm sure someone's mentioned already, but my favourite part of his passing is his ability to deliver the ball with perfect weight. The ball almost lands perfectly in the gap where only his teammate can make a play on the ball, just out of the reach of the defender/goalkeeper.

The different spirits of football between Totti and Messi it's too contrast
    Messi play for trophies
    While
Totti play for his beloved fans...
That is what made Totti's Passion for football beyond any good player has!
Just Look up so close when Totti play...
The Anger, the smile, the cheat, the cry, the happy face when he won or he made goals... All we see in him for his team and his fans, don't forget when he celebrated the goal by taking selfie with his fans... Its absolute love for football we see from him.

Never been somebody who could pass the ball like him. And I'm not only talking about precision; Pirlo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Beckham, Maradona, all unbelievable passers. But Totti had the same precision from any zone of the pitch, no matter the conditions: first touch, in front of the goal, back to the goal, while taking a bad foul, while being pressed, volleys. His reportoire of passes was just infinite. Furthermore, he was a complete striker, good dribbler, insanely powerful shot. It will pass a long time before we would be able to see such boundless talent.
