- The Pillar of Autumn in Halo Reach is completely inaccessible, because it's thousands of feet outside of the map. So naturally, I used every last ounce of brain power to try to land on it... with just a Scarab and Ghost. Enjoy :)

When Reach came out back in 2010, my friends and I would go 'BOB hunting' on each campaign level. After we killed the BOB, we'd crouch down next to it's body and take a picture of it and us in Theater mode, just like a real hunting photo lmao

The disappearing elites are secret stronger elites through out the campaign. I think they are called bob for some reason. Some are gold rangers like in the video or white zealots.

I thought that was the case but I honestly couldn’t remember. I have probably only played Halo Reach’s campaign, in full, once in the last ten years 😂
The white zealots are Field Marshals
Bob stands for born on board, I think the lore is that they were born and raised on a ship and have all the extra military training. I'm pretty sure it was a reference to an earlier bungie game

3:40 no that is by design since these elites are mini easter eggs that act completely different from all other enemies. Take too much time in killing them and then they are gone

I remember when driving past the scarabs on the mongoose section they also had weird gravity to them like im not sure if they patched it but i know for sure on og halo reach those scarabs would always launch you if you were close to them

If you guys are wondering why the cruisers point defence cannon tracers are flickering and changing, this is a newly introduced bug from about two years ago roughly, the original game did not have this issue on xbox 360, this bug also happens on tip of the spear with the two frigates.
The other games in mcc like halo 2 anniversary for example also has missing water reflections too and some other little bugs here and there that are newly added from the last patches that they never fixed.
In the editing kit the projectiles have rainbow colors
@Spartan_Tanner yeah it's odd, i think the tracer swaps to plasma green and blue, but they are supposed to colour change from white hot to tan, compared to the space cannon version which just glows a solid tan colour from long night of solace.
@@Spendingryan taking the Scythe projectiles light volume systems and applying them onto the frigate projectiles fixes the issue. But i didn't know they are supposed to change color.
Also possibly related is the fact that the frigate battle particle tags from the DLC map Condemned are missing, even though the corvette battle particle tags are included.
@Spartan_Tanner yeah it's a small detail, the space and in atmosphere versions are different slightly, in terms of sound effects and detonation effects, tip of the spear version uses frag grenade detonation effects for example, this bug occurred some time around the editing kit release, or 2 years ago roughly maybe, because I have clips of the tracers working properly before then on my xbox.
This was so awesome and so satisfying when you nailed it! I really appreciate seeing how to do things like this solo, too. Definitely going to try this as soon as I can! 😎

4:30 yeah thats Bob dude. He's sort of an easter egg. He will dissapear after some time if you dont quickly engage him or if you leave him alone for a while. He also appears on the first mission as well, same conditions as on ths level.

You know you can make the ghost (and Wraith) do a wheelie in every Halo Game - makes scaling steep slopes, stairwells and getting “unstuck” much easier. It’s usually left bumper on controller, except in more recent games where it is the right bumper instead.

To be honest I've done that with a ghost so many times it became regular to me people always thought I was weird and odd but I would always bring a ghost to the end of the battle I said hey the ghost makes it a hundred times easier to get the match and battle over with not to mention you can also defeat the three red Elites afterwards as well to get to the gun if you keep the vehicle interest location unless if you die

Have you ever gotten the scarab gun on halo 2? Or the soccer ball? I found both and it was a fun experience. That was before the halo collection came out when I did this cool Easter egg back in 2012
Yes I have! Both great Easter eggs and I’ve actually tried (unsuccessfully) to use the soccer ball to get the scarab gun. Wait I just had an idea from this comment, wow, you are awesome!!
For tricks that require you a 15 minute setup or whatever couldn’t you just play MCC on a virtual machine and save a snapshot of it in a good spot to attempt the trick and revert the snapshot when your attempt is messed up and try again.

It’s not noclip, it’s the acrophobia skull. And if I didn’t use acrophobia, I couldn’t have gotten the ghost out of the map by myself.

You know you can literally do all this in theater mode without ruining your day doing all that complicated shit. And you dont have to have it paused in theater mode.

All actual Halo players from the original reach days are laughing so hard because all these "gamers" playing reach don't know who the Bob Elite is or how he actually works. Also alot of new halo "gamers" don't know that covy land vehicles since halo 3 can lift their front ends while the jump button is being held to get over obstacles, or make it easier to get ghosts up stairs XD, also why does he go backwards through doors? The ghost fits just fine by hooking one of the front fins through the door and just going forward.
For the Edit, booted up Halo2 on my see through green halo xbox, the lift features wasn't added till halo3, and then plugged in my Halo 3 edition xbox 360 to play reach, yes you can fit ghosts through doors forwards XD, then loaded up Halo MMC on my series X, hmmm all still the same.
Land vehicles have been able to wheelie since Halo 2, not Halo 3. You can’t go up the railings forward with a Ghost in Reach. You also can’t get through doorways going forwards with a Ghost in Reach.
If only you were as right as you are confident, “actual Halo player” 😂
