- Today in this video we fish for brown trout and rainbow trout on the fleurieu peninsula in South Australia. In this video we tested a cheaper model of a glidebait which can be used to catch species such as bream, flathead, mulloway and so much more, but today they were used in the streams for trout. These lures provided a similar action to the Gancraft Claw 70mm Glidebait at just a fraction of the price. Retailing at around $6 we picked up a few of these to test and as shown in the video they do the trick.
Disclaimer: Trout in this video were not netted as we were having trouble with our net which was degrading and shedding rubber into the streams. As a result we had to beach the fish instead. As seen one fish was taken as after about 15 minutes we were not able to revive it for it to swim off properly. I hope you guys don't make the same mistake as us and bring proper equipment with you when you fish. Sorry again.

Great to see some healthy trout still existing down that way, I fish victor quite a bit and think I recognise the spot haha. Seriously though, great video, loved the transitions.

Thanks Aurinaxt383, I think the slow sink rate and hyper-realistic action helps when fishing for trout in these streams. Will definitely have a go for other fish on them too specifically some flathead and maybe some bream. Good to hear you enjoyed the video 🤙🎣
Hey man, Blux recently came out with a F (Floating) version of this which is really more of a very shallow running, sub surface suspending version of the one in your video...
Might be worth giving it a go. It's been deadly for me haha.

Words cannot describe the way this video made me feel, nothing gives me such a hard and euphoric experience like seeing some of those lovely not so native "quality brown trout" float off down stream. Over the duration of the video i found myself "sitting on the edge of my seat" as the youth of today say, so much action and adventure in such a small video. However I have a slight feeling that you did not respect all of these trout with the upmost respect, you see, the majority of anglers often credence that they are incapable of transcending the refined urban standards of modern civilisations fishing morals, you lot however, take the fucking cake. Next time I would like you to respect the fish more and not skull drag the poor dons onto some rocks. However, since watching this video I have been inspired to take my first steps into trout angling, which involved me looking in the description down below, locating the link and purchasing some of the Blux lures. Now, contrary to popular belief, this lure despite being cheap, really puts in the hard yards. Truly found it aided my angling expeditions and maximised my chances of catching.
