- I think this bait is going to make the cut as one of the staples for clear calm conditions. This thing seemed like it had similar drawing power as a big glide bait and it was catching everything from big bass to pumpkinseed sunfish!

@@AaronHuntFishing the era ones are perfect for clear creeks. I just caught a ton of creek bass and sunfish on them this morning! The baby giron and JC 70 are money too. What’s your favorite?
@@clintonbruning currently the JC-70. Actually the Blux version. Working on getting a couple others to try out - just often hard to find without paying what feels like a small fortune.

Yes I don’t know how it happened honestly. Got bit swing and came back with half a bait and broken rod tip. I didn’t have very good luck with the majestic xts staying in one piece. I broke two of them. But I’m hard as hell on my gear so I’m sure it’s still mostly my fault.

@@liammoodyfilms i tie right onto the little snap that’s already on there 👍🏽. Another snap might weight the nose down too much and screw the action up

How did you like that Majestic XT? THINKING about it for my higher end BFS setup, since the Dobyns is out of stock.
It’s a good rod. It’s light action so not quite as sensitive as the dobyns, but could still be a very versatile rod! Rated from 1/16th to 1/2 oz you could about throw anything on it. But you won’t be able to get a good hook into a fish if you throw something over 1/4 oz with a non exposed hook. But 1/4 to 1/2 with non exposed or treble baits you’d be fine 🤘🏽. About 90 bucks cheaper than the dobyns too 🥴😁

I told my brother that too, I would have broke a rod, lost a giant, and lost a 30$ bait in one trip. It would’ve been a much different vibe 🥴💀.
