    You are, without a doubt, the best instructor I have found for teaching this style of sewing. I have been sewing clothing and quilts forever it seems, and watching you demonstrate and teach has been so helpful. Bravo!

    I like this pattern, simple but stylish. Oh and kitty is beautiful. I appreciate how detailed you are in your sewing and you take time to explain and show and don’t assume everyone is at the same skill level.

    Loved the tutorial. I liked how if there was a mis-step, you showed how to fix it rather than saying it didn't matter. and omg, your cat is beautiful!!

    Thanks for a great video, I can't wait to try this. If I wanted to make cork piping, would I have to cut the cork on the bias?

    Hi Nicole, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge of working with cork to the community.
    I am wondering if your Juki TL can sew anything you throw at it? Do you feel the need for an industrial machine?

    • @SewGnar
      @SewGnar  Před rokem +2

      So far its accomplished 100% of what I’ve thrown at it! I actually have an industrial and I never use it (it needs the motor replaced but I have it in the box and never put it in)

  • @susanmartynuska5060

    Hi. Could you please recommend a 1/4 double side tape that works? I have been trying and trying to get this s*** to work, I am using a good quality cork I have tried pressing with a pressing cloth, and warm heat as recommended, nothing. Thank you so much.

    • @SewGnar
      @SewGnar  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I use Wawak hyper stick tape and it works great. Be careful tho cause it may gum up your needle. Another alternative is tearable tape from warp and weft, not quite as sticky but easier to work with.

      The piping? Sew sweetness sells it and some other online businesses as well. I got mine years ago from Portugal but I can’t find it from there anymore.
