Things i ALWAYS realize in BAD encore performances: 1) they tend to mess w/ their earpiece CONSTANTLY. (to place the blame on the earpiece as if it's the earpiece fault as to why they sound bad). 2) play around and joke with each other. (they do this to PURPOSELY avoid singing and to seem as if they're not paying any attention to what they should actually be doing). 3) engage/talk w/ fans. (they do this to DEFLECT fans attention off them sounding terrible by talking to them and making cute gestures). 4) dance their way through the encore. (they do this to COMPENSATE for the fact that they cannot sing whilst trying to ease their minds about it by doing something else that fans would be interested in seeing them do on stage besides singing).

All of their good vocal performances are edited. Cause the only true live they actually do is in encores and they sound bad every time. Chaewon always sounds bad ngl . Yunjin sounds good normally but this performance was not it for her , she was on pitch most of the time however but she had to much tension
@@ItsAjaxMate i would say chaewon is easily the most stable singer of the group. yunjin is a good singer as well, but idk why she's gotten worse in their recent performances despite the songs getting easier. chaewon however sings comfortably, and always sounds stable. surprisingly enough, kazuha is the most consistently stable after chaewon when it comes to live singing. or maybe that's the pre recorded vocals? it's hard to tell with this group even with MR removed videos.

Easy is definitely not an easy song to sing. Most of the time their voices are very low and a bit nasally which is a bit hard to keep up with especially during a song like easy where it's mostly rapping.

I’ve watched actual singers and vocal coaches comment on his voice and most of them just said he needs to improve his technique because he seems to strain but overall he has a good and unique voice. Yunjin and Chaewon can definitely sing. They just need to work on their confidence and stability. They proved this during survival programs. New Jeans really have good vocals live.
Even Baekhyun to this day takes vocal lessons because he still WANTS to improve. There is no point in expecting improvement from people who themselves dont care. At the end they get to do the bare minimum and still ride off of the success of their company's seniors and still make millions. So there is no point in complaining, just invest your energy and time on idols who DO care.
I think Hybe is the problem. It's always Hybe groups or members that have issues with live singing. They don't give them enough vocal lessons. You need to upkeep your singing voice, regular lessons are essential when you're a singer! But Hybe cares more about sales than concerts. They can edit them in the studio, then can put loud backing vocals over their voices but that doesn't save them from public embarrassment when they actually have to sing without any help.
Sakura seems to have trauma when it come to singing. When people keep telling you “You are terrible” you might start to believe them and afraid to sing.
Look I am not here to trash the group because I actually like them but I believe HYBe needs to make it a point in having their artists train properly with vocal teachers. What HYBe and most companies do is focus on the performance aspect and how things look rather than how things sound. At the end of the day, they are suppose to be singers. Though it is hard to sing while you are dancing I can understand that tracks with vocals are needed but the artist should be able to sing in tune and in the right key during encore performances. Being overly reliant on pre recorded vocal tracks are not always doing the idols favours. Many are not confident in singing live and some cannot sing in tune or in the right key at all. And this is NOT only a HYBe problem. There are plenty artists throughout the industry across all companies that have the same problem. Although I have to say SM entertainment’s standard is high and should be used as a model by which others can learn. As artists who make a living as singers and performers they should be able to sophisticate their raw talent through practice, vocal training and breathing techniques. Look at Celine Dion! The woman was already so good a singer but she still had a vocal coach and practiced every day for 3 intense hours! your voice is an instrument and if you are serious about singing, the hard work will be embraced. Now these groups have intense and back to back schedules but the industry needs to really focus on highlighting the importance of refining the talents of the artists.

Nowadays visuals and popularity matter more than talent and the ability to sing a single line of a song correctly and not sound like your gasping for air. 2) play around and joke with each other.
(they do this to PURPOSELY avoid singing and to seem as if they're not paying any attention to what they should actually be doing).
3) engage/talk w/ fans.
(they do this to DEFLECT fans attention off them sounding terrible by talking to them and making cute gestures).
4) dance their way through the encore.
(they do this to COMPENSATE for the fact that they cannot sing whilst trying to ease their minds about it by doing something else that fans would be interested in seeing them do on stage besides singing).
Because they know that they use bad vocal techniques…

I think Hybe is the problem. It's always Hybe groups or members that have issues with live singing. They don't give them enough vocal lessons. You need to upkeep your singing voice, regular lessons are essential when you're a singer! But Hybe cares more about sales than concerts. They can edit them in the studio, then can put loud backing vocals over their voices but that doesn't save them from public embarrassment when they actually have to sing without any help.
Sakura seems to have trauma when it come to singing. When people keep telling you “You are terrible” you might start to believe them and afraid to sing.

Look I am not here to trash the group because I actually like them but I believe HYBe needs to make it a point in having their artists train properly with vocal teachers. What HYBe and most companies do is focus on the performance aspect and how things look rather than how things sound. At the end of the day, they are suppose to be singers. Though it is hard to sing while you are dancing I can understand that tracks with vocals are needed but the artist should be able to sing in tune and in the right key during encore performances. Being overly reliant on pre recorded vocal tracks are not always doing the idols favours. Many are not confident in singing live and some cannot sing in tune or in the right key at all. And this is NOT only a HYBe problem. There are plenty artists throughout the industry across all companies that have the same problem. Although I have to say SM entertainment’s standard is high and should be used as a model by which others can learn. As artists who make a living as singers and performers they should be able to sophisticate their raw talent through practice, vocal training and breathing techniques. Look at Celine Dion! The woman was already so good a singer but she still had a vocal coach and practiced every day for 3 intense hours! your voice is an instrument and if you are serious about singing, the hard work will be embraced. Now these groups have intense and back to back schedules but the industry needs to really focus on highlighting the importance of refining the talents of the artists.

Literally every group that debuted under Hybe is bighit coded( their style, their sound,their lacking) good stage presence, horrible singing( BTS just slightly better), have musical liberty.
Only svt,formis9, basically groups who was already trained, and established are skilled here. At this point, It's pretty evident Hybe ( big hit), the parents company regulate them, or gave them set priority of choosing idols, training priority n all, otherwise how the f all the Hybe groups have similar issue? The hybe payola is crazy. All you need to do is be pretty to debut there. So many hybe idols cannot sing live at all. Their only good vocal girl group, Fromis_9, is of course neglected by Hybe. Only 1 member of lesserafim is actually good with vocals, and even then, she isn't good enough to be a main vocal in a normal group.
Their boy groups seem fine. Tws sounded good at their encore.

It’s a little harsh put, but honestly yes. Yunjin and Chaewon SERVED in pd48/Iz*one. Chaewon is still very good but maybe they sound worse than they used to because now they have to constantly carry the rest of the group and can’t ever catch a break whereas pd48/IZ*one had other talented singers

Nowadays visuals and popularity matter more than talent and the ability to sing a single line of a song correctly and not sound like your gasping for air. We can see that with Le sserafim and the way Hybe manages them. Like it crazy to see that this group has a hard time with vocals even though they have been in the industry for 3 years
They had 9 months with no comeback just to release an album full of autotunes and a bad encore with a song with no high notes
Vcha literally improved within months like some of the members on that group’s couldn’t dance or sing at all and look at them now, 5/6 members have vocal support and all of them can dance now, like what the hell is HYBE doing
