Alan snake. Alan bake. Alan rake. Alan drake. Alan make. Alan take. edited by evan-boldt.com/ main channel / videogamedunkey donkey store dunkeyscastle.com/ donkey twitch / dunkstream
The latin american translation for this game is so good, they hired a studio that had most of the best voice actors in México, Alan Wake is René García which is the one that voices keanu reeves in all his movies, Barry is voiced by the same voice actor as shrek.
I think Remedy's greatest asset is their sense of humor. It allows this game to be taken seriously but you can always laugh along when things get silly without being taken out of the game.
Man I remember back in 2010 when I didn't have a console and would always only get to play games at my friends house. He got this game and just watching him play it intrigued me. It was such an original story and type of game at the time and scared the shit out of me. I remember going home that night and telling my brother all about Alan Wake and it's world. IDC what you say Dunkey, this game is a masterpiece.
This series of streams were so good I watched them to go to sleep for like multiple weeks while he was going through the game. Truly a magnificent time period, thank you
I literally just started replaying this yesterday, lol. I can't wait for Alan Wake 2. Control did such a great job of worldbuilding the universe. I really hope they keep up the good work.
@@wickleman Right? Lol. Man, it's even better if you did the Control DLC and read all the worldbuilding lore they set up. Bright Falls and the Hotel room were my favorite locations.
Agreed. I was a complete normie when it came to gaming growing up. Alan Wake came out in my teens and was one of the first titles I decided to try that was just different. I never would have bought Control, but it being free on EGS made me go through it. So glad I did. I liked it a hell of a lot and they nailed the SCP elements, imo. Didn't even realize it was the same devs until after I finished. I hope AW2 holds true to their world and style. I have some worries with them introducing multiple main characters. The writing isn't exceptional in either game, but the atmosphere, world, and moment to moment gameplay is great in everything they do.
Watching this, I wasn't sure if theis game was for me, but once I saw that in-game Verizon add, I was sold. I'm heading out to Blockbuster now to try it out! Thanks, Dunkey!
I swear to god I finished Alan Wake as a kid and I loved it bc I’ve always been a huge Stephen King fan, but no one I ever met ever heard of the god damn game until they made the remake. It’s the most “yeah it’s alright” game ever made. Worth playing for sure, half because it’s funny and ridiculous and half bc it’s it’s a goodish concept. When I found out you also played the original I was vindicated
Dunkey, I have stood by all you all these years, as a loving and caring supporter. But I cannot sit idle for no longer! Mr. Wake is a hero and so is that floating diver guy. P.S. After extensive research into the very real story that is AW, I have come to the discovery of the true meaning behind the entire game which is: Light = Good. Shadow = Bad.
As someone who’s never see gameplay of this and knows nothing about it except Dunkey meming on it, I feel I have now had the full Allen Weak experienthe.

Barry's the key to all this, if we get Barry working. 'Cause he's a funnier character than we've ever had in videogames
it's gonna be great
Y’all ain’t ready for when the goongas show up… it’ll literally be like war and peace
It's so dense, every single image has so many things going on.
He was pretty meh in Resident Evil tho
It broke new ground! I clapped when i saw him!

Now the only problem is getting into the game in the first place

This revisionist history of people giving alan wake as a series any credibility is actually absurd
Not as good as Alan Sleep.
l put my hamster in a sock and slammed it against the furniture

@@TippyHippy you must have played Alan Jake

How did they have the technology to have Alan Lake, Alan Bake, Alan Snake, Alan Quake, Alan Steak, Alan Rake, AND Alan Wake all in one game!?
They had to bring in Alan Make
shame they didnt include Alan Drake
Alan Shake and Bake
give me an alan break
@@analysis726 you do deserve a break for Alan Sake!
really admire how much joy Dunkey is able to get, simply from repeatedly saying "Alan Wake"
Alan Lake, Quake, Awake, snake, stake
Note to self: don’t anger the birds at Alan Wake’s house
No wonder Alan Wake is so well known in his universe. Anytime anything crazy happens everyone immediately thinks he did it.
Alan wake caused covid 😡
Lol
Out of all the videos Dunkey uploads, this one takes the Alan Cake.
What a classic, can't wait for the second one
It's here
24 hours from now

Alan Lake 2: a tale of two lakes
Alan Wakes's worst enemies are work vehicles and birds.
because Alan Wake is a bumbler
You can tell Dunkey's committed to his fanbase because he bought one of the two copies of Alan Cake just to make this video
The only game where you can be both asleep and A. Wake at the same time...
3:52 “some shit ass drivers”. Alan Brake.
I swear that Dunkey's mic has actually gotten *worse* since I first started watching him like 10 years ago. good stuff!
This is truly the first lake-type game
the 9000th repetitive-type comment

Nah it's the first Wake type game
That cardboard cutout was an Alan Fake

the first wake-type game
I love this comment, there is a vibe to this game, silent hill type atmosphere. it reminds of the old days playing xbox on rainy days
@@2alsen Exactly man
historical footage of the first man to play alan wake
This game was fucking awesome, funny, scary, and cool narrative.
Put da lime in da coconut..
It sounds like the song from chalkzone
"This is the first shooting game where you have to fight birds."
Dunkey clearly forgot the Nintendo classic game on the Super Nintendo: Bird Shooter
Still waiting for the HD remaster deluxe redux steelbook take-all-your-money collector's edition on that one.
This Game was actually just an extended teaser for Alan Bake, where he needs to fight the Omega 3 fatty acids conspiracy by selling his own products
This twitch highlight feels like a normal videogamedunkey video.
As soon as I saw of bulldozer I thought “he better say you bumbler”
You Bumbler! You Bumbler! You Bumbler!
7:00 Holy shit! A reference to the "Bob crawl" from Twin Peaks!
I would like to thank fhe guy who managed to alanmake this compilation
crazy how i used to think this game so seriously backin the day, and dunkey just dunked on it
5:01 Love his consistency
tbh this game was SO GOOD. im still waiting for a sequel.
Its coming this year king
If you haven't played Control it has an entire Alan wake dlc
Hello there.
I can't believe you cut off the bulldozer fight like that
Nevermind you just point a flashlight at it
Bro the cardboard cutout 😭😭 why did they keep dragging around Alan Fake
"The Alan Stakes are really high" is, for some reason, what got me
Alan wakes up but realizes he actually just dreamed about waking up and is actually still sleeping so now he's late for work
This series of streams were so good I watched them to go to sleep for like multiple weeks while he was going through the game. Truly a magnificent time period, thank you
I didnt know this game was a comedy masterpiece
The you bumbler references were great.
alan drake, bake a cake.
Alan Wake
Alan Lake
Alan Quake
Alan Cornflake
Alan Shake 'n Bake
This game contains like 5 stephen hawking short stories
Love that this is basically a main channel video
I’ve watched this video at least 5 times and still have no idea what Alan wake is about
It's about Alan Wake
Can't wait for the sequel, Alan Rake in the Lake.
Good old days of when vídeo games were all about fighting construction trucks and punching boulders
the birds killed me more than the taken ever did in this game
This was actually just the first three minutes of this game
I’m pretty sure Dunkeys laugh could cure cancer. What a gift.
I used to think this was a Horror Game, but now I realise it's a Comedy.
Remedy Entertainment really managed to make a good balance between serious and cheese with Max Payne and Alan Wake games.
The lime is the key to it all.

Dunkey continually reacting with "what the fuck" throughout the video reminds me of his reaction to the Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer
I missed this the last 100 times I watched this video 5:00 which is why dunkey videos are evergreen
This is real footage of the first human to ever play Alan Wake
The lead writer on this game is called Sam Lake :)
