Hey I agree, but also only he knows the goals he wants to achieve, and I love that he sets a high bar cause that shows he is constantly striving to put out his best.
It's actually genuinely interesting hearing this guy talk about his work. Also, even the stuff he claims is below B tier is still very good, if not excellent.
i think "I Can Count To 3" should've been in S tier, as well as the Teletubby cartoon that wasn't ranked. Those 2 in particular are ones I always go back to purely for their chilling atmosphere.
"I Can Count to Three" is my favorite work by you hands down. I love your more straightforward attempts at horror and how well you pace the animation. Along with Yokai Bob the Bulder and the Ronald McDonald one.
"I Can Count to Three" is an absolute banger. The best part for me is the big sister worried-trying-to-be-reassuring-gesturing and expression. _chef's kiss_
You have set a standard for parody horror on CZcams. It's great to see what you went through in a year to produce content, and what messages were actually in each video. There will probably never be content that you upload that won't make someone contemplate what they just watched, while at the same time making them wonder why they enjoyed it so much. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
I enjoyed you talking about your videos because it made me understand them a lot better, and I actually appreciate them way more after hearing you talk about the inspiration behind it all.
It's refreshing to see a creator who can look back at his stuff, maybe you criticize yourself too harshly, but you have the awareness to know when you did something great, and when just did something for the sake of it. I absolutely loved your Bob the Yokai video, it was one of the most gorgeous and meaningful videos you did this year.
Respect man. Your cartoons make me feel emotions I didn't know I could feel. Yokai Bob is my favourite too. I had no idea you had a team of talented friends helping you with some parts of the cartoons. Cool to see what skills other people have as well. And the depth of your cartoons, I had no idea. You inspire me! Take care, have fun! Can't wait to see what else you come up with!
Look, I love meatcanyons content, but lets be real just like he was, not everything he and his team made was gold. That's not a bad thing to say at all. I'd personally move impractical jokers up to b at least, I fucking loved it.
Real talk, I hope one day Papa Meat comes to a realization that his efforts bear fruit and he is more than enough for his community. I never stopped to contemplate that the cartoons were real reflections of his mental state and I appreciate the messages he tries to get across in some of them. Zodiac was also a great movie; glad to see it hasn't been forgotten. Take care of yourself, Papa Meat, and enjoy the holidays with the people who love you.
I was introduced to you, like everyone, from the bugs video. I didnt know who you were nor did i watch any of your stuff until your compilation video-- specifically the dababy animation. Instantly fell in love with how disturbed i was while laughing. I went on a binge for all your videos immediately and stayed up all night to do it. No matter how little or how much i related to the message behind each animation, i still loved and valued every second of every one.
It was so refreshing to see what goes on in your creative process of making these animations! You always give your team and artists recognition and care and I'm sure they really appreciate that. In turn I feel like more and more people are going to want to work with you. I hope you can keep doing this channel and animating for a very long time. Hell, there are a lot of 10 year anniversarys for different CZcams channels happening right now. So I'm sure you'll be in the game for a long time :)
The greatest thing about the toonz is that they have meaning, and involve a lot of mythology from past and present. I respect you immensely as a creator and hope you keep growing and loving what you do.
I thought Bloo Cloo told a very compelling story that really pulled at my heartstrings. Definitely didn't think it was just killing dogs for the sake of killing dogs. Had no clue it was supposed to be a reflection of your mental state.
its crazy and cool how you express how you feel through popular cartoons. like everything in each video is you describing how you feel that's pure ART! good work papa .. never knew that about your videos
I know that this is a year late and odds you see this are low, but if it matters at all, I do see you. I watch these animations and not only am I horrified at the awesomely grotesque animation, but after reflecting and (usually) rewinding, I look for the small details, the messages, the elbow grease and soul put into these. It’s art, no doubt about it. I’m sure I can speak for plenty when I say that your creative talent is something to respect, wether you actually like the story itself or not. Much love dude, I see you
I always feel like meat under utilizes himself it feels like he could acutally write all sorts of material, not cartoons but serious stories maybe a short film and who knows could maybe get a chance to make a real film, monsterlab alone could be an adultswim show
I felt like "My First Slumber Party" was the best out of those, I really enjoy watching the non-parody stuff. Also, it´s very refreshing to know where the inspiration and what the concept for those cartoons came from
All of your work is really inspiring and you're probably my favorite channel on the platform. Take whatever break you need, man. Thank you for all the fantastic content. :)
great video! its interesting to hear the thought process that goes behind your videos, and honestly, even the ones you ranked lower were enjoyable to watch for me. keep up the awesome work
I loved the honesty in his insights, we don't get a lot from creators and is nice to know what is going through when you make something and you have to go through all that effort
I love hearing his process. It's easy to enjoy these videos at such short bursts, but it gives me such a deeper appreciation hearing his side of it. Papa Meats got razor sharp wit and a stunning amount of depth to him. Take your time and refresh brother! We'll be here when you get back!
i love your second channel so much you have quickly shot up to one of my favorite youtubers- please continue to branch out and do whatever you want, you’ll find an audience for it!
Honestly man, when I watch your toons I don’t watch one while expecting you to try and do better than another one. I just watch them because you’re a creative guy. If it takes you 1 month to put out the next video, I’m just glad we get to see the next great toon you make.
'How could i stop, when people love so much what i do' or however spongebob said it. It kinda hit me, when he revealed, that it was more or less how he felt as creator. ofc its obvious he tells some stuff with his scary cartoons but i didnt think about such messages. The vids are awesome and fun, i just hope the dude can relax and keep the fun with creating it :D!
17:30 hearing the small shaking in your voice is really sad. I personnally found your channel pretty recently and have known Meat Canyon animations for much longer. But the thing is, I just love your regular videos when you react to 80's movies or dumb posts. You have a great personality and you seem genuinely nice. Since the video is a year old at the time of writing this commentary, you seem in a much better place but just in case, don't worry and feel good about your work.
My absolute favorite tool would have to be the Cars and Thomas engine one. The deep voice, the atmosphere, the meaning and story just speaks with me because I love those deep dark stories that make you think about existence.
Honestly I can’t imagine how pressuring it must be to be a creator with art, CZcams, anything really. It’s evenarder trying to meet people’s expectations and then to show the art style and have people tell you you should change everything or certain pieces, knowing it’s not that easy, at all. I appreciate the time and effort you put behind your work (prolly doesnt mean much as a random person talking to you) but I hope it makes your day better and take your time because everyone needs a break :).
Ive been seeing this video on my reccomended and kinda ignorning it for a while, but i decided to watch it. Im happy I did, because it was very wholesome and I felt that I had some human connection with papa meat. Especially with bloos clues, I felt that pain that comes when your not doing something when you feel you need a break. We all cope with it in different ways, but youre absolutely right, you do you look back at your accomplishments and feel proud. Even small ones, hard work never goes unpaid, even if it takes a while to come back. After all life is a big circle, I found it to be extremely beneficial to slow down and look around a little bit. It helps you enjoy the moment you are in. I have a great love for you papa meat, may you live peacefully, and I hope the negativity only becomes a lesson to those who cannot see the light.
Watching this video I’ve come to admire the creativity you have. The bob the builder yokai story on how you came up with it is just so amazing and the SpongeBob and blues clues story has made me appreciate your videos more than I have before. Keep up the good work and take your time, you deserve a break.
The "Passion of the Craft" was one of my favorites. That came out while I was in basic training and when we finally completed the Forge we got to have a few days off with our phones and this was SO funny to me. It really helped get me through it all.
Dude you’re awesome. The work that you bring out and give to us is top notch. It would be nearly impossible for anyone to make this great content regularly. We will always appreciate you. No worries and try not to be stressed. I’ll always support
you probably wont ever read this but i feel like your deeper meanings in some of the videos definitely dont go unnoticed, sure some people might just want to watch whatever videos but I like the complexity in such simple jokes, like how you drew Q. and you do a great job finding good shows that fit the metaphoric messages.. you are a genius
I would have put King of Mukbang as S tier. I thought that was a true piece of art with different ways of being interpreted. I made an audible "wow" afterward. Same for the Blues Clues parody. It was so disturbing in a Shutter Island kind of way. Again, I think it has different meanings for different people. Hearing your intention behind it was really meaningful. Love seeing your vids on this channel and seeing you as a person and as a creator. It's okay to be proud of yourself. It's okay to take breaks. You are such a unique creative mind and the internet is a more interesting place for having you part of it :)
I absolutely love your videos man, you definitely deserve a break big guy. The amount of work you get out in such little time is insane, it has to take it's toll.
I was actually introduced to you by the Ronald video and it caught my attention ever since so now I'm here a fan of yours watching and really proud of your artwork and your creativity 😊
"This video was created in no time at the last minute, was age restricted, and got a lot of my social media accounts banned. We're gonna put that in S tier." Gotta agree, man has a point
I thought meat canyon just did these casually for fun, but now I see he puts a lot of thought and heart and soul into almost all of his work. High praise and nothing but respect.
I was really happy to hear how much you enjoyed the making of the Bob the builder video. That one might be my favorite one to date. I can’t even explain why. I just loved it so much.
Bro… you fuckin hit me in the feels with that explanation of Blues Clues. I actually like hearing your whole thought process and meaning behind these videos, wouldn’t mind something like this agin in the future. 👍
You're a real artist. It's rare to find creators that you're looking for as they always try to do something new and intriguing... People will remember you because of that I believe.

It is astounding and I hope you know that people appreciate TF outta you. Do what makes you happy before anything else and know we are grateful for anything that the papa blesses us with
After hearing the story behind some of the videos that’s pretty rough and not alot of people really think about the pressure. I love your work and hope that you don’t have to rely on these platforms. You’ve got amazing voice work, art, animation skills and wish ya the best!
Yokai Bob the Builder was one of the very few cartoons that affected me in such a deep manner. The message as well as the content was ridiculously well done, easily the best one you had made all year and my favorite. Glad to see it hit S tier
Omg the regular show skit was one of my favorite ones! I was so shocked at you placing it at a D. Bloo Cloo is my all time favorite though, that one was a true masterpiece.
Dude I absolutely love your content and I, for one, won't be going anywhere! Hearing the inspiration to the videos adds so much to them as well, as if each one wasn't enough of a fantastic cartoon already!
I love when an artist can evaluate their own work so well. The whole time I was thinking "he better put Bob the yokai in S". It was a definite cut above the rest and I'm glad he could recognize that and take it seriously as art rather just viewing it as another internet cartoon.
Man I was one of the people who just consumed your work and dipped I really appreciate the depth and the meaning in all your work, I will never just watch a meat canyon video again
The Markiplier one was so dumb and unexpected that it became one of my favorites pretty much instantly. And then Mark actually saw the video, loved it, and used the line at the end to make the title for the video he uploaded the day after. Pretty cool to see. Also, your Dora video helped me show my Spanish speaking coworkers how funny CZcams can be. Thanks for that! Hope you just keep having fun and taking things at your own pace, man. Some of these fans or haters are just playing some silly games.
I love.. Love, when artists are honest on their work. Even if its a fine piece of abstract, it looks unique and so on, people have their own view points on their own work. Artists learn after every piece they make, and can have every emotion they feel about it in the end. Take your breaks Meat man, and the crew themselves if they have too. Everyone needs a breather, and away from the internet is especially a lift of being stress-free.
I don't think you understand, every single moment, every minute ounce of your content, is worth it. We love it. Everything you put out pours you. Just keep doing whatever you do, however you wanna do it
I'm new to the channel. Going back and looking at everything you've done is impressive, you owe us nothing man. Thanks for the content hope you make more
The statement made at 17:45 is one of profound self awareness. I hope you are able to find your peace. This may sound trite, but whenever I've paused at the door to work with a huge sigh in my chest, my mantra has always been, "Well, you're not digging out the moat, are you?" I found it interesting at first that my favorites of your toons were at the bottom of your tier list. Maybe these two messages in this comment say all there is to know about me. Idk

Hey I agree, but also only he knows the goals he wants to achieve, and I love that he sets a high bar cause that shows he is constantly striving to put out his best.
I really love how in each animation, there's always a deeper meaning behind it. Nice work, keep it up man!👏🏽🙌🏽
It's actually genuinely interesting hearing this guy talk about his work. Also, even the stuff he claims is below B tier is still very good, if not excellent.
Meat canyon can be the most wholesome person , or he can be the most vile person. Much love though Hope you’re doing great.

Gotta love him for it tho
i think "I Can Count To 3" should've been in S tier, as well as the Teletubby cartoon that wasn't ranked. Those 2 in particular are ones I always go back to purely for their chilling atmosphere.
Yokai Bob the Builder.
Enough said.
@@jojoversus1100 thats another one i go back to
nah not s tier, it was good tho.
@@chrisprilloisebola Yokai Bob the Builder is Meatcanyons magnum opus. He doesnt realize it now, but it is actually a very beautiful piece of film.
@@jojoversus1100 lol calm it down bud
17:15 You got some interesting dogs, Papa Meat👀😂😂
your thought process adds so much more to your videos that already are so much creativity on their own. this is just so cool

I loved the impractical jokers toon. Laughed my ass off. The Garfield one was really nuts. Loved it.

The character designs were very subpar vs something like Boo & Kitty
I also laughed my ass off on the Impractical Jokers one, it's a shame Papa Meat thinks it wasn't good.
The original Wabbit Season and the Ed Edd n Eddy ones gotta be my favorite
Oh yeah! I forgot about Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Why didn’t he rank that one?
@@paulmarchano7238 because he didn’t make it this year
You do incredible work and I appreciate the narratives and stories behind all your videos. Don’t ever give up. You are a great human being
Respect man.
Take all of the time you need Hunter! You most definitely deserve a break :)
FYI, all of the toons deserve to be S tier ;)
Ok
Look, I love meatcanyons content, but lets be real just like he was, not everything he and his team made was gold. That's not a bad thing to say at all. I'd personally move impractical jokers up to b at least, I fucking loved it.
@@Uh0hitsme ok
C'mon bugs, see how you could dribble these cheeks
Djb congrats on your baby
Real talk, I hope one day Papa Meat comes to a realization that his efforts bear fruit and he is more than enough for his community. I never stopped to contemplate that the cartoons were real reflections of his mental state and I appreciate the messages he tries to get across in some of them.
Zodiac was also a great movie; glad to see it hasn't been forgotten. Take care of yourself, Papa Meat, and enjoy the holidays with the people who love you.
You got a landing zone?
Much love dude, I see you
I always feel like meat under utilizes himself it feels like he could acutally write all sorts of material, not cartoons but serious stories maybe a short film and who knows could maybe get a chance to make a real film, monsterlab alone could be an adultswim show
Absolutely thought the same thing. I'd like to see more vlogs too!
I felt like "My First Slumber Party" was the best out of those, I really enjoy watching the non-parody stuff. Also, it´s very refreshing to know where the inspiration and what the concept for those cartoons came from
I kinda hope he does this with some of his other life stories he's had
@@hahndogg5540 a story about a weird uncle would be very on-brand for him
All of your work is really inspiring and you're probably my favorite channel on the platform.
We'll be here when you get back!
all of your work this year was fun to watch tbh
i love your second channel so much you have quickly shot up to one of my favorite youtubers- please continue to branch out and do whatever you want, you’ll find an audience for it!
I really appreciate this video Papa Meat, thank you. I like hearing content creators talk about their work the way you did
17:30 hearing the small shaking in your voice is really sad.
It’s insane to me how much deep stuff goes behind all of MeatCanyon’s work
Dude you’re awesome.
Glad to say I've been here to witness such masterpieces.
You've witnessed perfection.
King of Mukbang was some goddamn modern day Shakespeare.
We're gonna put that in S tier."
Gotta agree, man has a point
I thought meat canyon just did these casually for fun, but now I see he puts a lot of thought and heart and soul into almost all of his work. High praise and nothing but respect.
I was really happy to hear how much you enjoyed the making of the Bob the builder video. That one might be my favorite one to date. I can’t even explain why. I just loved it so much.
Really cool to hear your thought process on these animations!! Much Love Mr Meat!
People will remember you because of that I believe.
bro i wanna give you a hug. I dont know how you put out content weekly especially with the amount of effort and work that you (and your teams) put in.
You’ve got amazing voice work, art, animation skills and wish ya the best!
papa meat im sure everyone can agree that we love you and your animations. dont feel pressured. do what you love. we will love it anyway.

Ah yes, this one must surely be a--
"Not one of my better ones, definitely D tier."
I mostly agree with this. I'd change a few things around like Markiplier at C or D and Storytime & Garfield at S.
I really like impractical jokers so i kinda wish that one was higher
While I never thought bloo cloo was just senseless grossness, your explanation here has helped me more fully appreciate it. I love it!
This was deep man. I appreciate this on so many levels man you've got this and don't give up!
Yokai Bob the Builder was one of the very few cartoons that affected me in such a deep manner. The message as well as the content was ridiculously well done, easily the best one you had made all year and my favorite. Glad to see it hit S tier
14:00 The Thing gets some love!! Thanks for all the good times, man. You and your crew are the real S Tiers.
I actually prefer the thought provoking stuff over the sexual, grotesque, edgy stuff.
King of mukbang was beautiful
My favorite was the teletubby one. That shit was so awesome.
Yea also wabbit season 2 was a beautiful metaphor
I love when an artist can evaluate their own work so well. The whole time I was thinking "he better put Bob the yokai in S". It was a definite cut above the rest and I'm glad he could recognize that and take it seriously as art rather just viewing it as another internet cartoon.
The fact that Bob the Yokai centered around a moral lesson, while using Japanese voice acting just elevated that video to insane heights.
I clicked on this for the tier list but I got much much more from this. I want to thank you for giving us the meanings behind some of the toons.
Some of these fans or haters are just playing some silly games.
which video did mark watch it in?

This may sound trite, but whenever I've paused at the door to work with a huge sigh in my chest, my mantra has always been, "Well, you're not digging out the moat, are you?"
I found it interesting at first that my favorites of your toons were at the bottom of your tier list. Maybe these two messages in this comment say all there is to know about me. Idk
GOD DAMN it must be International Meat Day today because we're getting content from BOTH channels :D yum yum.
I would’ve never guessed the Spongebob video has such a deep and personal meaning to him.
