Old school, man, old school. I'm 60 years old, and I'm happy to see the younger generations fall in love with the way of making and singing songs from that time, which for us was absolutely normal.
Robin standing there, hand on his hip, casually belting out perfection. Nobody comes close to the Bee Gees...Barry's easy and perfect falsetto has always amazed me.
Nope not even close 🥰😘💗❤️💕💜🤗
YOURE SO RIGHT, WHO IS EVEN CLOSE?
No tracks, no tricks, no synthesizers, just a great orchestra and perfect three part harmony. Raw talent!
"No synths, just an orchestra". Just an orchestra!? How accessible
Yes.. there were 9 tracks of each singer that created a 27 voice overlay.. nonetheless, it’s amazing.
I grew up listening to the Gibb brothers in the ‘70s. It’s true. Music these days rarely touches the soul and make one tear up and give you genuine feels. This particular hit was a great example of angelic, groovy and soulful at the same time. You never get tired of their music no matter how long you play them on repeat. They remain a timeless classic for a reason! 😊
Blue eye soul.. the best of the best! ❤❤❤❤
Holy smokes these guys are perfectly harmonizing! Beautiful lyrics. No vulgar words. Music from the heart!!!
These 3 brothers were born with a true gift! They used to sing in their bedroom as youngsters and their mother thought her sons left the radio on but it was actually them singing! RIP Robin and Maurice! We love and miss you!🫶
Betcha wish you’d come to the planet in the 70s😉
They are truly iconic
All in one take with a live orchestra. No auto tune. All talent.
Oh my goodness ! I saw you almost get emotional but really who couldn’t ?Love your reaction my brother
The closest song to perfection. The individual vocals and the collective harmonies are truly out of this world. The greatest songwriters ever. Bar none 🙌🏻
Amen.
Absolutely
Perfectly said
I agree completely
BAR NONE!
One microphone, live singing, no auto tune.
Perfection., beat that
Check out ‘more than a woman’
Nope. This is identical to the record so it’s 27 overlaid tracks consisting of 18 solo tracks by Barry and 9 of the 3 brothers together.. They may have been also singing live but 3 voices don’t produce that sound, not even the Gibb Brothers.
@@maelilmc4079
Ok , but Barry's solos were not overlaid were they?
Spiritof Elijah They were. He laid 18 tracks of his own. If you’re interested there’s a really good in depth interview with Karl Richardson about the making of the “Spirits Having Flown” album from which “Too Much Heaven” is taken. He talks about how Barry was at his songwriting zenith then and practically lived at the studios throughout whereas Robin and Maurice just came in to do their bit and then left. For TMH Barry did 18 separate vocal tracks which were so perfectly identical they had to “roughen” them up in the studio. Incredible talent. The interview is on Albumism, easy enough to find.
Maelil MC
Thankyou, I’ll check it out.
@@maelilmc4079 Okay, but still - :)
Remember also there was no Auto-tune back then, just talent!
Just Pure talent😊
Yes I do . Pure talent then
You HAD to be talented to have any screentime then. There are plenty of talented artists today, just with the age of social media, it has allowed anybody to coast their way to fame, despite talent level.
💯% pure talent🙌🏾
I was born same year as Andy but had to look up when auto tune came around…..1997 folks!
The falsetto harmonies are simply incredible.
There harmonies were like no other ever. Because they were bros they had an incredible 4th harmony going on!..when the 3 sang!!!
Bravo BeeGees!!
I’m gonna always love the Bee Gees they got more baby
There's nothing really that can outdo sibling harmonisation...brothers or sisters..even some cousins. It's uncanny and wonderful all at the same time.
@@paularogersbrandt4379 it’s very rare for people that aren’t related to blend that well!!
@@monicamurray5090 yes! My family all grew up singing together in church! I learned to harmonize at a very young age by listening to my grandmother!! Family harmony, nothing beats it!
This is a beautiful song. How often today do you hear any song that has as much feeling in it than this one? You can feel the love pouring out of these guys.
The Bee Gees are on their own level no one else is on it. Their voices are so similar because they are brothers is what I believe makes their harmonies seem so effortless. Barry’s falsetto is also second to none.
So beautiful!! I, like every other female on the planet, was so in love with Barry Gibb!! That hair, that smile and that VOICE!!! Just amazing memories! Love that new people can enjoy this music still and have this reaction!
Yes....their voices were magical! This is what REAL TALENT sounds like!!!!!!
Flawless, THIS is music, THIS is talent.
The late 70s and 80s ROCKED! Things were so much simpler then… everyone loved everyone. We had a blast ❤
Chills!! The Brothers Gibb!! Robin, Barry, and Mo left to right!! Great voices, beautiful harmonies!! They donated all the proceeds from this song to Unicef
To me The Bee Gees voices are a symphony in its self. It doesn’t get any better then this 💕
The Brothers Gibb are Legendary! Their music and falsetto harmonies defined an Era.❤❤❤❤
The Bee Gees were the greatest ever ever!! Their music touches your heart and soul!!! You will never find another group like them!!! I grew up with them and still love them! You can relate to their songs. Watch Fanny be tender with my love( live version)
I just love their attitude, standing there hands on their hips belting out those notes as if it is a normal every day occurrence. Of course, for them it may be but for most people it is impossible to imagine being able to do that.
Did you catch the smiles on Robin and Maurices faces...
Seems like they were pleased....
Love them that's what an artist looks like. All live
Mj...not for me but tq.... bee gees....yes forever.
Music in the 70’s was just unbelievable... Barry singing falsetto is something to behold.
First time I heard this song, I got totally addicted to it. I even got as far as imagining having this song play at my wedding. I just totally love this song. I love the Bee Gees. They're one of the best.
My favorite Bee Gees song. Gives me goosebumps each time I hear it!!
Three brothers, one of the reasons why their harmony is so good.
I was really young then, but didn't Andy sing with a few times?
@@theresagarner3375 I think so. Andy is in the music video for You Should Be Dancing.
with no autotune. their harmonies mind blowing....
Barry voice is sweet it's feeling of joy, peaceful, peace of the mind soothing (Deep Love)!!!! Back in those days listen to them and parting with them was the happyies days of my life it brake my heart when Andy left us. ❤❤❤❤
I love The Bee Gees. The singer in the middle is the oldest , Barry Gibb, the other two are Barry’s younger brothers, twins Maurice and Robin. Plus there’s a baby brother Andy. The three younger boys are in music heaven now , They all died of internal problems . I really miss them but I have their music in my head and their faces in my heart ❤️
Jive Talkin, How Deep is your love, Fanny be tender with my love, More than a Woman, You Win Again, Run to me, How can you mend a broken heart, the list is pretty endless. Enjoy!
Not to mention the huge amount of songs they wrote for other singers that became hits.
React to Barry’s “I’ll Kiss Your Memory” sung by the Bee Gees
And let's not forget For Whom The Bells Tolls
Thanks betty artis I didnt want ask anybody an look like a weirdo
Run to me.. brings tears to my eyes every time.
I was 13 when this masterpiece debuted. 45 years later, it still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck and gives me goosebumps.
I was 14, collected all their albums.
Wait till you hear More Than A Woman before you decide your wedding playlist!
For your wedding playlist? You definitely have to listen to How Deep Is Your Love - one of the very best slow dance songs of all time. One of the many #1 hits by the Bee Gees.
How deep is your love
Tragedy- they wrote one for Otis Redding but he died before he could record it. I can’t remember it. Listen to alone
Truly great music stands the test of time. I'm 52, and have listened to this song a thousand times, and still sounds fresh and beautiful.
Incredible angelic voices. They wrote this, "Tragedy" and younger brother Andy's "Shadow Dancing" in one afternoon. Unbelievable. It's so gratifying to see The Bee Gees getting love and respect after the crap they dealt with in the 80's.
This song makes you want to sing to hit those high notes, but knowing you cannot sing. It dont matter. Beautiful!
Keep the reactions to the Bee Gees coming.they are amazing and have a prolific library of beautifully written music! They wrote all of their music
The Bee Gees were highly influenced by R&B in the 60's. You are right on point. The music back then was just fantastic. Their music is just timeless.
Nights On Broadway, Jive Talking, You Should Be Dancing. The best of the best!!! Bee Gees are fire!🔥🔥🔥
Spirits Having Flown. Living Eyes.
One word for this song is Angelic!!!!!❤😂
This music brought people in true love back in the days
You are about the 40th person to react to this song...and your reaction was EPIC!! It is SO MUCH FUN to see all of the smiling and utter SHOCK at hearing this!!
Everyone is practically moved to tears!! I STILL get CHILLS when ai hear this, and I have listened to this literally hundreds of times!! It's the music of my soul!! BLESS you, my brother, and PEACE!!🙏
I've seen alot of reactions to them, and I love watching all the young people reacting to them, especially when it's the first Bee Gees song and their reactions are so great and seeing these young people appreciating the true talent we were blessed to grow up with is wonderful, and heartwarming
Beautiful Song!!
This is the music I grew up on
Born in the 80s so this was my parents’ era but I grew up listening to 70s music along with 80s and 90s growing up. Bee Gees is one of my fave fave groups out there
So blessed to have witnessed all this great music in the 70’s🙏🙏 still, to this day, all proceeds from this amazing song goes to UNICEF❤️❤️
No autotune, no trash lyrics, greatness
“You Should Be Dancing” is a great Bee Gees song. It’ll make you start grooving!
You hit the nail right on the head there ,music is not a patch on what it was ,it was uplifting and this group can make you smile and cry at the same time ,not many can do that ,thats what you call true talent !
5 words - How Deep is Your Love. ❤️
Oh my gosh, their playlist is decades long! Massachusetts, Words, I Started a Joke, Lonely Days, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, Jive Talkin, Alone, You Win Again, This Is Where I Came In....too many to list here. Welcome aboard the Bee Gees bandwagon!
They also wrote this for charity. Proceeds went to UNICEF in the year of the child.
I think it is up to 20.0M now donated
@@paularogersbrandt4379 yes, its perpetuity
" Loving's such a beautiful thing " I think I levitate a little when I hear these words ... I Love feeling the music ,,, so much appreciation for your reaction ...
Good interpretation of what this song does to you. I could listen over and over again. Never want to stop so I can stay levitated 😊
I understand they did this song in one take. Nothing absolutely nothing is better than Bee Gees music! Listen to all their music you will love it.
Thank You For Acknowledging
The Awesome, Clean, Soulful, Beautiful, Harmonious, Melodic Songs Of Our Era…
There was absolutely
Nothing Corny with the Artist we grew up listening to..
No Curse Words
No Nastiness
No Showing Of Body Parts for effects…
Just Pure Unadulterated
Magic…
You wonder why it was called the baby boomer era…
I’m super happy with your reaction to this masterpiece..
Glad you enjoyed it as much as we did back in our day…. ❤
PS. Real Love Is Truly
A BEAUTIFUL THING
When Marriages Lasted
A Lifetime… Just Saying
Yes....... they speak to our SOUL when they sing!!!!! 😍❤️😘 👍 👌 👋👋👋
I absolutely love your reaction to this song. I’m a huge Bee Gee fan, and I love seeing young people being blown away by them… really appreciating them. I realize that you reacted to this a year ago, so by now you must have discovered more gems from these amazing guys. It’s a huge rabbit hole. Right now I’m listen daily to their song, ‘Bodyguard’. If you haven’t heard it, be sure to check it out. I was only 19 when Too Much Heaven came out; I still have the original 45. Enjoy the journey, and enjoy your day. 😊
Love love love my beegees!!!! I also love watching other people come to love them!!!!!!!❤❤❤
You have been missing out on the Real music when singers didn't need auto tune to sing their songs. They are and always be One of kind in music history. Their music will live for decades.
ITS A LIVE ORCHESTRA, NO AUTOTUNE!
Best thing about this song, the proceeds go to charity
This gorgeous song is still making lots of money for UNICEF...becauce it went to #1..
I didn't know that.. cool!
Made over 7 million for charity so far but probably more the that
That's Amazing
This song came out in 1979 , The Bee Gees are 3 of the reasons im PROUD TO BE A 70s Brat,
Heavenly Nectar of the Gods❤❤❤. Loved them back then in mid 1970's...love them even more now. BEEGEES 4EVER❤❤❤
React to Bee Gees “How deep is your love” very beautiful song.
"love you inside out" is a heavy groove
Big Facts!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
'If I can't have you' too
Agreed and also their song named, "One"💖
The greatest of all time. Too good
We had the BEST music in the 70s. They were one of the greatest of all time. Wrote all their songs.
This is my favorite of all their songs. I think brothers do have similar voices, and that's why real siblings sound...just better.
One of my biggest concert regrets is to have missed seeing them in concert.
Me too!
Mine too
I say the same thing…my son & I were just talking about it last week! 😢🎶
Thats for sure, me too..
Many years ago in Sydney Aust ( mid 60s ) a girl friend and I passed them in the street , my friend said ' that was the BeeGees 'I turned back to have a 2nd look, 2 of them had their guitars but at that time I wasn't overly interested just 3 kids out walking , I have lived to regret my lack of interest .
I was a teenager in the 70's and this was always my favorite, I've heard it hundreds of times and I still get goose bumps when Barry hits those high notes, and I never get tired of hearing it either, Loved the BeeGee's they were the best.
I grew up with them in Europe and they still make me cry from happiness.
Want to hear all FOUR brothers? You Should Be Dancing, the 70's version, with baby brother Andy, has a great disco beat, John Travolta dancing from the movie Saturday Night Live, and watching and hearing how the four brothers have it down to an art..I love it. I think you would, too.
There voices sound like heaven Love your true reaction it's a reaction that shows heart thank you Holla
How many babies do you think were made worldwide listening to this song ? Greatest mood music ever and greatest group ever ! God Bless Barry Gibb !
I grew up near Macon Ga 5 miles from Otis Redding my husband went to school with Greg Allman alot of soul R&B came out of Macon im 65 so I grew up in this error im white but I love the blues been all over southern US listen to the blues just went and seen Buddy Guys final tour it was awesome this guys have some soul better than the stuff you hear today was an honor hearing your comment
Such an amazing group. U can feel every word they sing, simply perfection. Back then no auto tune, so much talent. Memories are flooding back listening to all the 70's and 80's especially. Also listening to Shania Twain who was the top selling female artist of all time in any genre. Kelly Clarkson also has an amazing voice she came out early 2000's
But absolutely the best time for music was definitely 70's and 80's, amazing talent, you could understand what they sang and sing along, alot of great dance music, amazing love songs, songs were actually about something and had messages and purposes to them.
When the Bee Gees arrived on the scene, disco's days were numbered and on the downturn. This group single handily revived the genre and made it bigger than ever. On this day you earned a sub good sir.
Old school pitch perfect, no computers, no digital messing about just complete talent. Three men, one mic was how they liked it; they liked to hear each other, have eye contact with each other and they could always sustain perfect pitch and harmony. They never recorded separately on mic for any Album always 3 on 1 mic. Big brother Barry is still alive, 2024, Robin (hands on hips) died on May 20th 2012 from cancer and Maurice, his twin, died from heart failure due to sepsis from necrosis of a twisted intestine, in January 2003.
And no autotune ! Pure talent
Hold your babe real close, get your sway on and go with the flow..MAGIC!!!!!
‘Jive Talkin’ is one of my dance favorites of theirs
By far the most beautiful song I have ever heard.
A Gift is a Gift. No mayter what color embodies the Spirit
Oooooh I love this thanku so much. .beautiful. .a wonderful trip down memory lane ...divine thanku thanku amazing reaction thanku love an god bless x
My fav song from them!!! Love ❤️ them... Barry kills with his voice...
Barry is in the middle he’s the oldest and then Robin is on his right and Maurice is on his left and they’re twins. They started singing together when Barry was nine and the twins were six.
Love Beegees music of the 60's.
You’re in for a treat. Really one of the most beautiful harmonizing songs, the voices are like angels!
Bee Gees - Fanny (Be Tender), Alone, You win again, etc...... greatness.
HEART HEART HEART!!!!!!!!!
This song is truly heaven for the ears.
Thank you for recognizing the huge difference in music from then and now!
Watching this video of them singing reminds me of how free we used to be. It was awesome.
Beautiful more of the BeeGees x nobody like them ever they are & were the greatest. Thank you . Please play Alone !!xxx
Aren't they fabulous Holla ? So much great music they wrote. Check it all out. The brothers were record breakers with 5 tunes on the Top Ten Hit list at the same time. I am so glad I got to grow up during the 60's and 70's to hear all this (this song from 1978) ENJOY.
Fanny Be Tender with My Love is also another Great Bee Gees song.
To love Somebody 👍❤️
"Sea Of Smiling Faces"
great singer songwriters thats why has decades of longevity xxx
Not only are you appreciating the music of my generation; you are planning your wedding! You are making my heart sing.
❤This is just the tip of the iceberg of their greatness. It's a magical rabbit hole that you must travel down.
Their younger brother, Andy Gibb, was equally talented and is a must to check out.
I feel like everyone has heard of Earth, Wind and Fire, but, if you have not, listen to "September".
What has that got to do with this ?
@@lynw1623 Harmonies, perfection, beautiful arrangement....in one word MUSIC....just like this!
‘Reasons’ is better.
Philip Bailey is a bit relative
😃 Gibbs brothers are from out of space Brother ! Their voice are celestial ⭐️
They're my absolute favorite group ❤️💞
In the 70s, they were seen as "commercial" and "too pop". Today nobody can even ties their shoes
